You can drift the rear sight side to side by tapping it with something (plastic) that won’t mar it up. But wait until you are at the range to do it; it may be where it is for a reason. Test it first then make adjustments as needed.

The first page says..."Designed with the latest U.S. Military standards in mind". So I assume it is their entry. Someone will need to freeze it in a bucket and water and drag it on a rope behind their car before we find out how tough it really is.

Smith & Wesson is pretty good about giving their customers what they want. I figure if I post it enough they will get the idea.

“The Ruger American Pistol”, MSRP exactly $10 more than the M&P, three palm swells. Looks like they have set their sights directly on the King of the hill. Good for them. We all win when the American gun companies start slugging it out.

As usual the video quality is very good. I’ve shot a lot of 19’s and 66’s in competition and they all pointed exactly at the target . How does that Rhino do against a Smith at 25 yards?

Reefer and MsMonkeyMan, thanks for doing the right thing. A dog is a fantastic companion and I hope you find her a good “forever” home. Kudos to both of you!

I am not an attorney and I don’t play one on TV, but I would guess that nails it. I’m sure our real life forum attorney’s will comment. I bought a new truck last week and this is a statement on the front of the contract. I have no idea whether it is a correct statement or not; but it was there. EDIT: I’ll add this… If I tell someone something is sold; that’s money in the bank to them. If I think I can find a better deal, or I need to inspect the item; the time for that is before I commit, not after. There should have been a time frame in the contract. Who would sign a contract with no time limit? Here’s my deposit call me if you ever get one in? I don’t think so. Your word is your bond; for both sides.

S&W will be releasing an M&P 10 with a heavy barrel and quad rails. Not really, I just made that up (just like most other rumors) but it’s all I’m really waiting on.

Really? What do they tell you they like better about it? So you are trying to “take them out of the M&P and putting them in an SR series”? Don’t you sell the M&P for about $100 more? I have nothing against the SR line; I own a SR1911. But we are talking about a comparison of a full size SR against a full size M&P correct? I haven’t heard anything about the SR series in competition. How are they doing? Anyone here shoot one in completion? Are any PD’s using the SR series (Not that I think that means much; just curious)?

I need an M&P 10 for my collection, so I will give you half what you paid. Maybe you can trade the rest of your M&P collection in for a Glock. Or not...
-
The Smith & Wesson M&P line has dealt a significant blow to Glock; and they aren't done yet. Even Gaston would agree with that. I hope Ruger jumps in there also. I like to see our money stay here, especially when it comes to keeping our gun manufacturers strong.

I don’t see the point of the video, unless it is how to professionally handle a nut case. (I watched part 1 and 2, is there more?) No one engaged them, stopped them, or refused their requests after they refused to answer any questions. They certainly had everyone’s attention, but that’s what they wanted and anything less on the part of the Officers would be ridiculous.

Well the last time I looked into it (for Murfreesboro) there were issues such as traffic that would stop it, now gun dealer is just specifically listed as a no go. It says it can’t be approved administratively. I assume that means you could file for a variance; but good luck with that. States Recognizing TN Permits (Reciprocity) With Links
DaveTN replied to JohnC's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Also worth noting; Illinois does not have a duty to inform, but they do if asked. -
Virginia to end reciprocity with 25 states

You can be deemed okay to carry if you give them $100. I guess that's better than the $300 Illinois wants. Money can fix anything. -
39-17-1316(q)(1) My guess is those minor charges won’t matter much, and are probably just what he was arrested for. The felon in possession (if that is the disqualifier) will be almost as serious as the armed robbery. (When the DA gets the case) Kudos to the Trooper. When someone pulls a gun on you and you take him without getting shot; that is truly remarkable...or just plain luck.

Multiple HAZMAT casualties in Seacacus NJ Mall
DaveTN replied to CommsNBombs's topic in General Chat
It’s been almost 12 hours. You would think in this day and age they would have the equipment to quickly detect airborne toxins. -
From all the threads about M&P’s it looks like there might be a lot of collectors out there. Anyone have a full set yet? I'm halfway there: Full size 40 Compact 40 Shield 40 M&P15-T M&P15-22 I still need the M&P10,M&P22,M&P R8,M&P340,and M&P Bodyguard.

If he got 10K off that’s an excellent deal; if 35K was out the door he got an outstanding deal.

Based on what I just paid for a truck.....yes. Done deal. Silverado Crew Cab Short Bed
