  1. This set of kitchen knives is $124 online at Wal-Mart. Seems pretty cheap. Does anyone know about the quality? Any other brands at a reasonable price you like? http://www.coldsteel.com/kitchen-classics-knife-set.html
  2. Just look at how many gun owners want Federal reciprocity. They want the government telling us where and how we can carry. Not me. I want nothing to do with it. There is no putting the Genie back in the bottle on that. I adamantly defend States Rights.
  3. We (most of us here) won’t be fighting our government in our lifetimes. If we have another Civil war it will be the Right against the left. And the government will be handing out Full autos to those on the RIGHT side.
  4. The 2nd will be fine. If the NRA thinks giving in on bump stocks will get them National Reciprocity; let them try.
  5. You either have a right under the 2nd amendment to own a fully automatic weapon or you don’t; it’s that simple. While bump fires may not violate the letter of the law; they violate the intent of the law. The intent of the 2nd amendment was allow the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government should the need arise. You would need automatic weapons if that were to happen. Do I think the SCOTUS will ever rule that, or ease restrictions? Not after 10/01/2017.
  6. You think someone left that room after the Security Guard was shot through the door?
  7. I bet they get it. EDIT: And I bet it’s not grandfathered either.
  8. That’s distorted. Hotel Security was at the room and a security Officer was shot less than 18 minutes after the shooting was reported. Officers were approaching then. The shooting had stopped and he was probably dead then. Yes, after the shooting stopped they took a long time to breech the room and call the scene secure. Over 20 minutes of shooting is a long time though. I think the arrival of Hotel Security caused him to kill himself. That Security Officer that approached the door and got shot probably saved a lot of lives.
  9. Prayers for everyone.
  10. You know you want one. Maybe a group buy?
  11. Imgur looks like the best bet right now. Kinda crude, but I’m sure they will evolve as they grow.
  12. This isn’t about freedoms. They are free to disrespect their country, their flag, and those that served. Their team owners have the freedom to fire their azz for doing so, or to stand by and do nothing. Their fans have the freedom to burn the NFL products they bought, and boycott the teams and their sponsors. Or they have the freedom to think this is a great and wonderful thing they are doing and take a knee with them. So you see freedom is in good shape; plenty to go around for everyone. With freedom comes responsibility. You can say whatever you like; but it may come at a cost.
  13. USA Today and Huffington Post have picked up the story.
  14. Locking arms (preferably while kneeling) while singing Kumbaya would need to be a requirement.
  15. Making threats will help us (Conservatives) at the polls more than it will help them (liberals). No one likes to be threatened by thugs.
  16. As others have said, yes it’s legal. But the dealer has to abide by both states laws. Many don’t want to mess with it. I would guess your chances would be pretty good in MS though; I’m sure they probably do a lot of business with TN.
  17. Wow, that could easily go bad; depending on who shows up.
  18. Darn, I thought you were going to tell us about some bad azz gun cases at a big discount.
  19. I have quality AR’s but I’m looking for a cheap, flat top, no sight post, trunk gun. The Windhams and Del-Ton are in the $450 range at buds. Anyone that’s had these care to comment?
  20. Wow…. The NFL might be okay with these thugs disrespecting our flag and those that served, but I bet they won’t be okay with players telling fans not to come to the game. That’s a pretty bold step for Walker to be giving away the Titans money.
  21. Not all of the NFL is involved. I don’t think you will see any Dallas Cowboys taking a knee. The Titans should be ashamed and we should be ashamed of them.
  22. Young people should watch this. I can’t count the number of young people that have ask me “Why were we there?”

    Robbed.

We never ran sirens on an alarm and we turned off our overheads when we got close. But these guys seem to know they have a couple of minutes. I’m sure they know the alarm is going off when they smash through the door whether they hear it or not. Takes a minute to dispatch it (provide cars are clear) and takes a couple of minutes (at least) for Officers to get there. They’ll probably get caught on a traffic stop by a cop paying attention. Or someone needing a deal.

    M1a or ar10

It depends on why you want the rifle. If you want a shooter I would go with the AR-10. If you want a real military rifle I would go with the M1 Garand. I never could see paying 1500-1800 for a copy of an M-14, and I can’t spend the money for the real deal. I have a Garand and an AR-10.
  25. TR-4 is pretty big. I can get the TR-3 with a safety. But then I’m wondering “Why have an auto knife?” If you have to flip a safety and then push the button, why not just use an assisted opening knife? Wouldn’t it be faster?
