That’s what I’m going for. If I had to wear sunglasses that would be okay.

You should be okay on the coast. But be careful if you go inland very far; we don’t have the wall up yet and those Canadians sneak across all the time.

I go to WM to buy ammo. They have high quality brass case ammo and the steel case junk; because that’s what people want. They have the best prices I can find, with the exception of Federal HST which I order online. People get judged on the way they look whether they are at WM or the Mall. Everyone does it, even those that say they don’t. You will just have more smiles and looks of confusion on your face at WM than some other places.

I don’t see any agendas. Because so far I haven’t seen even any speculation as to what happened. That makes me think it’s a suicide. If it’s something else we should know the cause.
-
That’s terrible. Any more info on what happened?

I don’t have any alarms blaring, motion or sound notifications are sent to my phone. I can check my property no matter where I am to determine if the threat is real and needs the cops. With my Nest cameras sensitivity is adjustable and custom “Zones” can be set in the software. You can pick and choose the areas you want to cover. I love technology. At night my dog takes over notification duties.

Since Indian quit making motorcycles in 53 the name has been passed to many different companies with little or no success. Polaris is the latest since they acquired the name in 2011.

Trump gets to appoint another Supreme Court Justice
DaveTN replied to DaveTN's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I see no reason to wait. When one retires another should be ready to step in. The person making the nomination isn’t going to change. We don’t do without a President when the need arises and we shouldn’t do without a full SCOTUS. As far as a red wave; we can only hope. However, I am skeptical. The Dems will do their best to get every democrat alive and some that aren’t to vote. The republicans better do the same. -
Some folks do. Of the people I know that have them or have ridden them, they don't handle well in corners at any kind of speed.
-
Harley makes at least the Street Glide in a blacked out version; maybe more.
-
Yes, but you can't ship a handgun through the USPS, UPS won't ship to anyone that isn't an FFL, FedEx might do it; I don't know.
-
It is between two residents of this state, and within this state.
-
I don't think buying in another state is an option for a handgun. It’s like cigarettes and liquor; if you can’t stop it, tax the bejesus out of it.

App for finding folders with a given number of files?
DaveTN replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
I have a music folder with hundreds of folders with the artist’s names. Some of those folders aren’t full albums and have only two or three songs in them. I want to find those folders and move those songs into another folder so I can separate out the full albums. I’ll look at some of the suggestions….thanks. -
I want to check a folder with a lot of sub-folders and I want to find folders with a certain number of files (3,5,etc). I had an app at one time that would do that, but I can’t find it or remember the name. I have an app that will find empty folders, but it won’t let me search for folders with a specific number of files. Any ideas? (besides using DOS commands or powershell)

I have an Ultra TourGlide, it’s the best highway bike ever made. But I would not recommend it for someone wanting to ride around town; it’s a beast. I’m not making that many trips anymore and have kicked around the idea of trading it for a Heritage Softail. The reason I say the Heritage is because unlike the regular Softail it has the big (wide) front tire. That makes a big difference out on the road. It is lower, and handles well around town, plus can do well on a long trip. On a different note I’m in the process of refurbishing (I wouldn’t exactly call it a restoration) a 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 I owned many years ago, and just got a call from a friend about a 1975 Kawasaki 900 Z1. That was my first Super Bike, but it was stolen. I don’t ride nearly as much as I did when I was up North. Seems like it’s always 40 or 90 here. I had much better riding weather up there.

This. It will give local gun stores a better chance of competing on price when taxes have to be paid.

How old do i have to be to hunt with a black powder revolver?
DaveTN replied to Tennessean1796's topic in Hunting and Fishing
6-16 you have to be supervised by a non-hunting adult. BP Pistol must be .36 caliber or larger. (In addition to all licensees, safety class, etc.) It's all here... https://www.tn.gov/twra/ -
I’ve bought and sold guns across state lines on forums like Smith & Wesson. Just like this forum you can get an idea of who is credible and who is not. No way would I do a private sale with a stranger. If you use PayPal and there is an issue; you are screwed when a gun is involved, it’s a violation of their rules. If you pay with a Postal money order you may have a shot because the Postal Investigators are Federal Agents. I’m looking for a gun now that I’m not having any luck finding locally. I’ll go through GunBroker or, I don’t have a problem dealing with an FFL as long as I can verify their information and make contact. Our legal system has not kept up with technology. People think stealing with a computer is somehow okay. Things like jurisdictional issues make it nearly impossible to prosecute without a Federal agency involved. Some day that will change. I also think that unless you are dealing with some hard to find collectable, with FFL’s being involved on both ends and shipping; it’s probably no longer a good deal.

I have no idea why that bank has that policy. But yes, if your bank will accept the check, do that and give him the money. (After you know it cleared)

I think they are going to start giving them to the homeless so the rich thugs can’t come along and throw their stuff in the water.

The majority of those appear to be old surplus rifles and bolt action hunting rifles. Being a convicted felon; he trusted the wrong person. Besides losing all those guns I would guess he's headed back to prison. The reporters must have been so focused on those evil guns they forgot to find out what the guy was convicted of.

It always pizzed me off that the North Koreans took the Pueblo and killed a sailor doing it; we did nothing. Now that they are sending back remains and releasing prisoners, I wonder if Trump will ask his friend for the Pueblo back.
