After reading about the anti-American controversy between the democrats and Trump, and then Nine Line and Nike/Kaepernick, I went to the nine line website. I think quoting their tenents and call to action on this day is appropriate. I also think I'll buy some T-shirts.

Show us a picture of the end of the arrow. The insert the point was screwed into came out? Anywhere that sells archery supplies can fix you up with glue. It depends on the arrow/insert material and if you want to be able to ever remove it, some just use stuff like Gorilla glue.

What a shame. Best I can tell he got about 3 years. He was a family man that had a helicopter repair business; I assume he lost. I don’t doubt he intentionally violated the law and got caught. But dang man, there are violent offenders that don’t do time on their first conviction. No one was hurt or put in danger by what he did. We have criminal hugging politicians running all over the place yelling for “Second Chances” for career criminals and dragging offenders to the White House for press conferences while guys like this sit in prison....its ridiculous.

Looks like its Head Down Firearms. I don't know anything about them, but they are in the higher end of the pricing. Hope that works out for them. I used their range a couple of weeks ago. They still have a daily rate and haven’t went to an hourly rate yet like some others; that's a good thing.

Welcome, and good for you on continuing shooting. PCP caught my interest. But I decided it was just too expensive for what it is. The price of the guns is fine, but the cost of air tanks, quality pumps, or compressors is ridiculous as far as I’m concerned. I suspect eventually someone will invent a tank or compressor that is a reasonable cost.

They have to have a Form I-862, the “Notice to Appear”. But yes, we have to have all kind of ID to prove we aren’t a criminal. However, a documented criminal can fly on his criminal documentation.

Remington target loads are shotgun shells. I’m surprised they cycled at all! JK… I use WWB for range ammo and Federal HST or Hydra Shok for carry. Those are proven performers. If my guns won’t work with that; they go back. (I’ve only had to do it once) I’d ask SIG for a shipping label and send it back. You paid a lot for that SIG name and SIG quality; you should get it. There are plenty of guns that cost far less that will fire "most" of the time.

I don’t understand why criminals in other countries want to deal with criminals here. It seems to me getting fully automatic weapons from other countries (North Korea, China, Russia) would be much easier and cheaper. The story doesn’t say Assault Rifles. However, the AR-15 is now an Assault Weapon. You can be upset over that term all you like; but it is accurate. To try to deny it implies we shouldn’t have them, or that there is something evil about something that is called an assault weapon. No one really cares about what name you call the AR-15. It has proven itself time after time as an Assault Weapon. But it seems some still try to make differentiation; like that will matter. (See Below)

That was my point in the post above. An SRO won’t be constantly standing guard over the entrance with an AR waiting on a shooter to approach. If I was the parents of school age children I would be more concerned about what I could help do and less concerned about complaining about cops. Nikolas Cruz walked up to the school carrying a duffle bag. He was known to school officials to be a problem. A Staff member saw him and radioed a “Code Red” for a school lockdown. It was too late. I don’t know what the procedure is for a “Code Red”; but I know what it should be. My guess is it is mainly concerned with telling the students what to do, where to go, and how to get secure. That’s great, but that isn’t going to fix the main problem. People, other than a single SRO, should be assigned to be moving towards the breech and have what they need to engage a shooter. It truly is that simple. This is 2019 not 1970. We have technology that can give good people the time and opportunity they need to put their own shooter in place to overpower or neutralize a heavily armed person.

It appears to me highly unlikely that one of the problems here is the NRA not knowing what members want.

I still think technology and training is the key in addition to an SRO. If an SRO is doing his job chances are good he may not see a threat coming. But someone might, and the ability to see it and set a response in action is the key.

So everyone is going to be gone except WLP? Wow…. You can’t make this stuff up. I hate to see Dana go, but I suspect she will land on her feet, probably at FOX. I suspect WLP will land on his head.
