I have 2 5 gallon buckets of 9mm brass to get rid of. Can't find a buyer for spent cases in my area. I first posted this in the reloading section. Someone thought I was running an ad and I got a warning. I posted here to clear things up.

Pull down from Lake City. Dennis sold it years ago.

Crappie Masters tournament out of Engineers Point yesterday. Couldn't buy a parking spot a mile from the ramp. One smoker I talked to thought the walk was going to kill him. We fished the spillway. I missed 4 at the bank, 4 out farther. My son got two 11" crappie and missed 4.

Dang, I meant WC846. My notes say to use BL-C2 data at 10% less at start.

Anyone work with this powder in 308 with a 150 gr SP bullet?

I've trolled Sardis a lot in the past. 16 ft rods, Johnson Century reel for line storage. 6 jigs 1 ft apart 6 rods out front 6 out the rear. That's before rules were changed. I now kayak and use trigger spin reels. Camp at Pat's Bluff and sometimes at Clear creek so I'm close to the honey hole.

hipower, the auction house had that style bench from Wren for $110. I almost bought 1.

I got a cart just like the tool box I had at work. 27" wide, 48" long. Double doors, shelves behind one and drawers behind the other with 4" casters for $50. I'll add 3/4" plywood to the top for another reloading bench. It's in between chair and stool height, see which one I want to modify. Most likely a chair so I'll have arm and backrest. My son got the other one to use in his garage for tools.

Fishermen are lining the spillway banks of the big 3 lakes in north MS. Some catching and some snagging. All are leaving with their limit. Tuesday I talked to a member of a face book group I'm on. His party started at Grenada early then Enid and was finishing up at Sardis before heading back to Memphis.

Reloading stuff at Columbia estate sale, 2/23 to 2/25
DeepSouth replied to monkeylizard's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
My wife linked me to an estate sale years ago and pinned the items she wanted. I looked at all the photos, nothing I wanted. I went Saturday morning after working 11/7 Friday night. Got half of her items. Lots of reloading equipment, supplies, reloads and factory ammo all overpriced that wasn't on the link. I returned Sunday and found most was still there. Made a cheap offer and got it all. -
My son sent me a marketplace ad link. Metal carts $35. Some have casters on corners and some Uboat style. Some have drawers, doors or shelves. They are at Holiday Lodge on Sardis Lake, MS. I sent a message for best time to see them.

Memphis Area Meet and Greet

No reply yet. Try to get there this weekend. -
American Reloading, one order was taxed and the other wasn't last month.

I carried it to a local scrapyard. The guy said we don't buy ammo brass. What, I bought some 223/556 cases not to long ago. Yep, the guy got mad cause we wouldn't buy it, left it, gone before we could stop him. You got it before we could figure out what to do with it. My son said decap them, run fishing line through as many as needed for a slinky sinker.

Aquila is the only 9mm cases I've found with the ring. I scrap all Aquila and Perfecta, 223/556 flash holes are off center. Don't want to find in their other calibers.

Reloading tips you don’t mind sharing
DeepSouth replied to gregintenn's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Greg, all the ammo boxes that were rescued were painted blue, white tape added for load data of that box. Tape removed and trashed. Lost data. -
Sorry if anyone thought I was selling this brass. Going to the scrapyard for a cheap price.

The manager wasn't there Saturday. I left my phone number so he can call me later. -
Mine is a 12X26X31" shop cart. 3/4" plywood added to the bottom frame, pistol lock box added for storage, shelves on the side. The top is 2 layers of 3/4" plywood. Lee O frame mounted to the right. A 15" wide desk cabinet, shortened with casters added. Counter top flush on front, 3/4" overhand on sides, a bit more on the rear. Door and drawer on front for storage, Lee Loadmaster mounted on the rear, Lee C frame mounted on a side.

Reloading tips you don’t mind sharing
DeepSouth replied to gregintenn's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I'm finding some 223 cases that won't fit a shell holder. Going through some old notes I found it. A Lyman TC-38 357-FL die, sizing die with the guts removed used as a bulge buster. Use a pusher from a bullet sizing kit. Lube the cases extra well. I know you're thinking, 1 case doesn't cost much, scrap it and replace it. A quart or gallon bag or 2 full is a bit different. -
Memphis Area Meet and Greet
DeepSouth replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Memphis's Memphis Chatter
Not much going on here. I shoot at Sardis, MS, McLver gun range. $20 for half day noon till evening. Pistol and 100 yard rifle bays are covered and next to each other. Longer range a walk or short drive. Skeet, trap and archery areas too. I can check to see if we can set up canopies and grill for a meet. -
It looks like 9mm and 556 is not worth the money to load
DeepSouth replied to 2agood's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
RangeUSA had Magtect 9mm ammo for $14.99 on their Black Friday sale, back up to $19.99. With my order of 115 gr bullets It's about $9.50 per 100 to reload. The last new primers that dad got were when he helped Dennis at a Memphis gun show. Unload the trailer and set up displays Friday night, help with sales Saturday and Sunday, reload the trailer Sunday night. He got a sleeve of primers each day. Dennis pushed to many bottles of HP-38 on the display and 2 fell off the back. Dad put the lids back on, swept up the powder for the trash and brought the 2 half bottles home. Dennis was selling 223, 55 gr pulled bullets for 9 cents. Dad bought 500 for 5 cents.
