Planning on going. Made our hotel reservation. Looks like we'll leave here early Friday morning and come back Sunday night. Staying at the Drury Plaza at the Arch.

My brother-in-law and I went yesterday afternoon. Total waste of $8. We were looking primarily for either a Remington 1100 or 11-87. Only saw one. Way too small compared to Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, or even Nashville.

Saw this today. They were asking $300 something for it. Is this a good deal? It's a Baikal MP-153. Looked to be in good shape.

Are those prices from GT's for anyone?

They had all those guns at Hendersonville and they were totally over priced.

But you can find a S&W M&P 15 for a little over $600 plus transfer for a complete rifle and mag.

What's the total cost on a build like that? Keep thinking I'm gonna go that way rather than buy one off the shelf.

Any idea where you are staying? Found the Millenium hotel for 129 a night and it's about half a mile from the convention center.

We're thinking about making the trip up there since it's close and I'll happen to be off work that weekend. Thinking about catching a Cardinal game, checking out the Budweiser tour, and seeing the Arch. Looking at the map to get there, it looks like we'll have to go through Illinois. How does that affect me with our carry permit? I don't plan on making that trip unarmed. Anyone else planning on going?

My father lives in Florida and comes up here on a regular basis. Can I buy a gun up here and then sell or give it to him? Technically, he would probably give me the money and I would buy it. Would this qualify as a straw purchase? I've told him what he's looking for he can probably get it cheaper online and transferred to his local dealer down there. Thanks in advance.
