I moved from Bank of America to Wilson Bank and Trust about 3 or 4 years ago. Final straw was going into the branch to ask for my bank card to be replaced because it started to crack. He told me it would be $5 to replace it. I told him I guess I'll just do what I was planning on and moving all my accounts to Wilson. He asked if I still wanted to do it. I went outside and called and reported the card lost and got a new one till I was able to open my new account. Then said adios to BoA.

I have successfully gotten a contract on a house to be built. Will be finished late July or early August. My realtor referred me to his mortgage guy. Process is going fine but someone said it wouldn't hurt to see other options. I have started the process with Rocket Mortgage/Quicken. Much easier to deal with. She's telling me rates are around 4.25 right now and she has convinced me to go Conventional rather than FHA because I've got pretty good credit and it's not that much more of a down payment...5% vs 3.5% with the FHA. The other mortgage guy is telling me the rate will be near 5% with the FHA loan and is just harder to deal with/get a hold off. He's someone local. Am I wrong to try and find the best deal? It seems like Rocket Mortgage may be the way to go. My realtor called saying the listing agent got a request for the contract. Any other advice would be appreciated. I did offer $5000 more to have the builder pay that amount towards closing also.

There's a store in Murfreesboro that also sells Ashley furniture. Much cheaper also. Ashley sells to other retailers besides their store. FMO in Murfreesboro is the store. Believe they have one somewhere in Nashville also.

My license shows my old address and my carry permit shows current address. Academy wouldn't take the driver's license even though my address is changed. My local shops said as long as what I put on the form and what the state has on record, you are fine.

I'm considering leaving my current job. I went through a 2 year apprenticeship with a 3 year commitment afterwards. I'm currently right around the 2nd year. I signed a paper that stated that I would stay in a maintenance position for 3 years after my apprenticeship. No mention of what would happen if I left. The guy I was in the apprenticeship with got fired right at the end of the 2 year apprenticeship. He didn't have to pay anything. They just parted ways. He was actually stealing time.
