I'm going tomorrow to get a molar tooth pulled and talk about getting it ready for an implant. It's the middle of three so they said the other 2 would try and touch over time. She told me the total cost on the implant was around 3K and no help from insurance.

I moved from Bank of America to Wilson Bank and Trust about 3 or 4 years ago. Final straw was going into the branch to ask for my bank card to be replaced because it started to crack. He told me it would be $5 to replace it. I told him I guess I'll just do what I was planning on and moving all my accounts to Wilson. He asked if I still wanted to do it. I went outside and called and reported the card lost and got a new one till I was able to open my new account. Then said adios to BoA.

I grew up in Smyrna. Antioch was the place to go growing up. Now I wouldn't go there unless totally necessary and with a gun on me.

When I heard about this the other day, I thought that metro Nashville had dodged a bullet. No telling how much taxpayer money was involved in this scheme. But it still seems like the plans to widen the interstate interchange may still go through. Not exactly sure why it would need to go to 9 lanes from the current 2. Just curious what others thoughts are on this. I'm a resident of Murfreesboro and soon to be Bedford county-Shelbyville so not really a concern for me. One of the radio guys on 99.7 seemed really butt hurt that it wasn't happening.

I have successfully gotten a contract on a house to be built. Will be finished late July or early August. My realtor referred me to his mortgage guy. Process is going fine but someone said it wouldn't hurt to see other options. I have started the process with Rocket Mortgage/Quicken. Much easier to deal with. She's telling me rates are around 4.25 right now and she has convinced me to go Conventional rather than FHA because I've got pretty good credit and it's not that much more of a down payment...5% vs 3.5% with the FHA. The other mortgage guy is telling me the rate will be near 5% with the FHA loan and is just harder to deal with/get a hold off. He's someone local. Am I wrong to try and find the best deal? It seems like Rocket Mortgage may be the way to go. My realtor called saying the listing agent got a request for the contract. Any other advice would be appreciated. I did offer $5000 more to have the builder pay that amount towards closing also.
