  1. Are you having issues HERE or there?
  2. This is purely my opinion and worth nothing, but I think Glock shot themselves in the foot with the "Gen 5 Baseplate" since hitherto the mags from pretty much any Gen worked in any other Gen. The slight exception being the ambidextrous mag release cutout in the mag between Gen 3 and Gen 4, but Gen 4 mags still work as long as you're a right-handed shooter and have the mag release configured as such. These Gen 5 mags with the "lip" have fragmented their ecosystem somewhat, and Glock's claim to fame has been standardization.
  3. I wonder if this is a restriction per-State or if all States do it the same. I don't want to assume. Good idea! Hahahaha I'll see if we can work that in.
  4. This week I will be recording a new episode of the Shooters Nation Podcast and once again will be sitting down with Ian Strimbeck of Runenation LLC. You may remember Ian from a previous episode with him where we talked about being the Multi-Disciplinary Tactician as an armed citizen. Well, this time we are going to talk about Non-Permissive Environments and Improvised Weapons and I'm curious... What questions would you like for me to ask Ian? When I think about a non-permissive environment, several places come to mind: Workplaces Schools Courtrooms Government Buildings

  7. A friend of mine, Mike Sisino, says that it feels different and more improved to him than the Gen 5 trigger.
  8. Everyone that I know who owns one of them says the improvements aren't just in the grip length. They say the trigger is better than any other Glock due to changes in the trigger system and/or sear. Also, the explanation I've heard several times now for why the grip length and slide length work so well for certain applications has to do with who the pistol was originally designed for. Keep in mind it was designed as a contender for the joint service pistol. Anyone wearing body armor with side panels needed a shorter slide so that they weren't drawing "all of that gun" out of a holster and trying to clear it past their armor.
  9. Hey gang. Many of you have already listened to the Shooters Nation podcast that I have been producing and hosting with my friend Mark Lancaster. If you haven't yet... why the heck not? Head over to Shooters Nation and give it a listen, or find us on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, and Google Play. BUT ANYWAY... lol We've been working really hard to produce content that is both informative and that you will enjoy listening to. It would help us tremendously if you would take a minute or two to visit the following survey and fill it out. This survey will give you a chance to tell us how we're doing, and tell us what kind of stuff you want to hear more of and less of on the show. With your feedback, we can focus on being even better in the weeks ahead. Thank you! Take the survey here – https://www.shootersnation.com/april2018survey

The way to renew is to go into the Store in the top menu and look for the option called Manage Purchases and then find the invoice for your previous membership and renew from it. 13. Cool. Same phone I have. Let me try to replicate the problem.
  14. You're on a phone or a tablet of some sort?
  15. I have a hat problem. I have a lot of hats, and the problem is I keep buying them. I don't think it's odd to pay attention to what's on folks hats. Some folks pay attention to what tennis shoes other people are wearing. Some folks pay attention to what gun other folks are shooting at the range.
  16. Do me a favor and Google the instructions to clear your browser's cache of cookies and other stored data. Your browser might be filling one of those two password fields with an old copy of your password, even after you've typed in the current one. Also, do you have any password managers installed on your computer? Things like LastPass or 1Password or RoboForm?
  17. Sunfish, you're picking up a vibe that keeps me from aligning with this rally. I think our members ought to dig a little deeper before being so enthusiastic to attend what looks like it's going to be a patriotic Pro 2nd Amendment rally. This NCCPA (National Constitutional Coalition of Patriotic Americans) is publicly affiliated in some way, if only by association, the Three Percent and Oath Keeper organizations which have been classified as hate groups and anti-government separatist groups. From their own "About" page: Red and bold emphasis are mine. If you think that this connection won't be exploited by the media and turned against us, you probably haven't paid much attention to the media lately. It's one thing for an organization completely unassociated with these groups to organize a rally and have some of them unexpectedly show up and hold signs, wear their "colors", etc. In a public setting, you can no more control that than the Far Left and Anti-2A groups can control any of us showing up and peacefully holding up signs supporting the Second Amendment. But it's another thing entirely, in my opinion at least, when the organizers of a rally claim on their own website that they are an affiliation of Three Percent groups and Local Militias, even if that affiliation is "loose". This will completely keep me from being there or showing any support for it. And that's a shame because we still need a good, organized, Pro-2nd Amendment rally.
  18. I've never seen this problem before but will check the software's support site to see if they offer any clues.

  20. Man that does look great!
  21. I have a colleague at the office who has gone to numerous Front Sight classes. He's actually a member here, too, but I don't know that he gets online very much. I'll see if he can stop in and post his thoughts.
  22. I really don't think they committed fraud here. I still think either you purchased something and didn't realize that you had checked a box that made a $5.00 donation to the FPC, or you inadvertently made a donation to them when you visited their site. Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations are insanely strict and not many places keep payer card information on file as a result of that and anyone with any scruples at all knows better than to try to debit someone if that someone didn't give them permission first. These guys are lawyers, too, so they should be very well versed in the law and the consequences of doing something underhanded. I have seen absolutely zero reference to anyone else having this problem with FPC despite searching for it in earnest yesterday. If you think they did this unscrupulously, please contact them directly and ask them to provide more detail on when/where your card was charged for the donation. Let us know how that goes, please.
  23. Tapatalk Users, This evening I have upgraded us to the latest version of the Tapatalk add-on for IPBoard. Please let me know if you encounter any oddities as a result. Thanks!
