  1. Smaller pistols are ironically harder to shoot accurately, as you're experiencing, because they just don't give you a whole lot of grip surface to work with. They are a lot like a J-frame Smith and Wesson revolver in that sense. I did some digging and found a video that talks about what Cruel Hand Luke was discussing, and gives it to you in a visual format.
  2. Randy's description / diagnosis is what I have seen fix this condition for 99.9999999% of the people I've witnessed suffering from this, myself included, over the years. Another way of describing the fix is to "give the gun more middle finger from your dominant hand". Which is to say, grip it tighter with your middle finger than you are the others on your dominant hand. But that pliers analogy is damned genius.
  3. I have enabled a new feature in our software that essentially grants everyone limited moderator powers when it comes to reporting content that goes against our community guidelines. This new feature is "Auto Moderation" and is currently set so that if TWO OR MORE PEOPLE report content that falls into one of the following categories... Spam Abusive Content Non-Benefactor Advertising Benefactor Posting in the Wrong Area The content will be automatically hidden until a moderator has a chance to address it. This allows us to keep TGO clean and acknowledges the facts that our best defense has long been our members and that our tireless, hard-working, and insanely dedicated team of volunteer moderators can't be everywhere at once and definitely can't be online 24/7. I will tweak the automation that makes this work behind the scenes to ensure that it isn't used unfairly.

  4. Here you go. Fully loaded mag and everything. 2lbs 6oz.
  5. I'll have to weigh it soon and write back. At this point I really don't know that I will carry anything other than this or the ZEV'd G45 (Orion slide, RMR, no comp, TLR7). I am not much on smaller guns. I am EDC'ing this thing in a Henry Holsters SPARK holster made for the G34/35 and X300U light and it is proving to be very comfortable. Congrats on the G45! I have shot mine at near dusk, in the shade, with both the X300UB lit and unlit. No real issue with flash from the comp, but I am carrying either Remington Black Belt +P 124gr JHP or Federal HST +P 124gr JHP and both seem to be using low-flash powder. Nope. I can't imagine it is much different at all from the G45 though. Same basic gun, just different color and slightly different front-strap design.
  6. They could easily get 13rds of 10mm in a Glock 19/23 sized handgun. Or, go nuts and give us an 8 or 9rd single stack 10mm with the profile of a G19 and the width of a G48. Once again Gaston thumbs his nose at everyone and builds something no one really asked for, and will sell a million of them because it's a Glock. It's disappointing.
  7. I am not-so-silently judging anyone who says this gun is PeRfeCt FoR TrAiNiNG WiTH because the only thing that translates between shooting .22LR and shooting a service caliber is that you don't want to be in front of either one of them when someone pulls the trigger. If I'm spending $500 for "training", I am buying 2,000 rounds of 9mm, or a SIRT pistol, or maybe a nice airsoft rig patterned after my EDC so that I can use it for some basic force on force training. Or, I'll use that airsoft gun for plinking at things where even a 22LR might get me in trouble with the neighbors, police, etc. The G44 is, for me, the biggest let-down announcement of the decade from a major manufacturer regardless of how many of them they sell. If you're hosting a super-secret product launch at 10AM on the 10th day of the month, and you don't launch a 10mm something, you're doing it wrong and your whole marketing department should be fired.
  8. Thank you! I'm going to extend your purchase by another 6-months for the hassle AND the fact that you reporting this helped me correct the same issue for a bunch of folks who hadn't even noticed it yet. I really appreciate it.
  9. Another update... We've been running version 4.4.9 of the forum software since November 26th, but apparently the company released a newer copy of 4.4.9 on December 2nd and did not send any news to their customers about its existence or what had changed. I heard from another customer of theirs that the updated copy included some fixes related to PayPal transactions. Those rat bastards. I have since installed that new copy of the software. Let's see if it behaves any better.
  10. Updated... I found the transaction in PayPal and returned it to you via a refund as I'm not sure why it didn't post to the forum. I am checking on the reasons behind the scenes now. If you want to try again, feel free to do so. Respond in this thread if you're still not able to make it work.
  11. I'm just not having problems selling guns on TGO but I am also pricing in line with what the current market will sustain and not selling anything that would only appeal to a very specific niche buyer. From what I've heard from friends in other states, this is the same where they are also. Used isn't selling quickly unless you've got a compelling item or price.
  12. Gotcha. For me, I end up with "Glock Knuckle" on my middle finger from wedging it hard up against the underside of the trigger guard, unless I polish that area to a near-mirror finish first.
  13. Welcome! I'd love to hear more about what it was like running a gun shop in California.
  14. Which finger? Legitimate question... even though it's practically begging for humor.
  15. What we need is a 10mm that is truly the size of a G19. What we'll get is a new Glock trenching tool.
  16. Jon's kind of lost me over the past few months. Adam Kraut carries the show when he's on and he hasn't had much time for it lately, it seems.
  17. They are. I've used them on a few guns and had good luck with them. I think they're rapidly eclipsing Ameriglo as my preferred iron sight. Their marketing director is a local Nashville boy also.
  18. Yep. I guess it's possible and he swears his finger was nowhere near the trigger when he dropped the slide, but I really couldn't find any evidence that the gun was faulty.
  19. AR500 Armor is running a few sales as well if you're in the market for body armor. https://www.ar500armor.com/promotions-sales.html They are doing a Level 3 plate Buy One Get One (BOGO) sale too. https://www.ar500armor.com/3-plus-bogo.html
  20. Fury Carry Solutions ( https://www.furycarrysolutions.com ) has their holsters and gear on sale 20% off too. You're going to pay tax as a Tennessee resident, though, since they are based out of the Knoxville area.
  21. Henry Holsters has their excellent Spark and Flint series of IWB/AIWB holsters on sale right now. They also have their magazine pouches on sale, albeit not at the same $20 discount as the holsters. The Spark for Glock 19/23, 34/35, and FN 509 are all holsters that I have and I love them. The Flint for the Sig P365/365XL is excellent too, and I also have one of them. https://www.henryholsters.com/product-category/holsters-and-magazine-carriers/holsters/
  22. Tactical Gear has a big sale running on all sorts of clothing, backs, packs, gloves, hats, etc. https://tacticalgear.com/black-friday
  23. Arc Division ( https://www.arc-division.com ) has their comps, barrels, etc. on sale.
  24. Action Targets ( https://www.actiontarget.com ) has their steel and paper targets on sale.
  25. Parker Mountain Machine has their comps and other handgun accessories on sale, for Glock, FN, S&W, SIG, etc.
