I'd really like to own an M&P 45 but I am waiting to see if Smith releases a smaller form factor. Preferably a mid-size sort of like Springfield did with the XD45C. I really like my M&P 40 and 40c and think my wife's 9c is pretty cool too. As soon as they start producing the .357SIG barrels, I'll buy one to swap into my 40c.

From what I understand, the Dickle distillery isn't as full featured as the JD distillery. Apparently the whiskey at Dickel's is pumped into tanker trucks and then hauled to Kentucky for bottling. At least all of the JD Single Barrel is bottled right on site... and I believe the blended whiskeys are bottled nearby. You know, there's only one solution to that problem.

I seriously had NO problems with any of my Glocks. The only reason I am not carrying a G23 right now is because a slick Smith & Wesson representative talked me into giving their new M&P 40c a try. Had that not happened, I'd be carrying a Glock again.

The GAP was an answer looking for a question, IMO. The SF is clearly Glock's attempt at staunching the bleeding that came when Springfield released the XD45 and proved that you can have a high capacity .45ACP DAO handgun without having a grip the size of a 2x4. I agree... a single stack Glock .45 would be super sweet, though.

Sacrilege! Saying you don't like the AR15 is like saying you prefer French scones to Dunkin Donuts. You can hand over your American citizenship anytime now and move to Canada. But seriously, I think maybe you've just fired the wrong AR rifles. They are plenty accurate out to significant distances if configured properly. It's a very popular rifle platform for varmint hunting.

I think appearing to be alert / vigilant could help, but I also think that sometimes people mistakenly assume that they should walk around with a scowl or other "hardass" look ... which invites trouble.
