  1. Welcome, and Go Smyrna Bulldogs! ( They have a better track record right now than the Titans, and I like to root close to home )

    New XD

Congrats on a fine weapon. If yours was one of the newer ones with the melonite finish, you should be good to go. Otherwise, they look great in NP3.
  3. I really hope that people remember that this stuff doesn't come easy and that it costs something to produce these materials. I've seen the Hero Gear embroidered hats and they look sharp.
  4. Logo was posted here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=29862
  5. I used to own a P226R (railed model) in .40SW and it was a great gun. It was a bit heavier than a comparably sized polymer .40SW handgun but that added weight helped compensate for the higher bore axis and related muzzle flip. I'd like to own one again but I'd probably go with a 9mm this time. Only because I'd like one to run cheaper ammo through.
  6. I have an H&K flex-fit hat that I am trying to smash down to the point that it doesn't look like a trucker hat. That's the only bad thing about them.
  7. My wife's already called you?!?
  8. I was joking. I think if it were my JOB to maintain professionalism in spite of assclownery, I could pull it off. I might go home and kick the cat at the end of my shift, but I'd pull it off. Since I'm not in that situation it's easier to just say that I have heard from reputable sources that a 6-cell Maglite makes an excellent persuasive device. "Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!"
  9. Leave the URL in there. </command decison>
  10. I'd be up for several things right off the bat. A khaki polo hat in both the subdued and full color logo and a 5.11 polo in both versions of the logo.
  11. Eh... no URL would be kind of wimpy and pointless if we're trying to bring people here. Some folks just won't ask, but if they saw what the URL was on your hat (or shirt) they might come here anyway. I'm one of those guys who normally won't ask if I don't already know. It took me a long time to figure out why I shouldn't have a rainbow sticker on my pink Mazda Miata.
  12. Pull up a rug and make yourself at home.
  13. If this ColtCCO kid was being an a-hole to the cop, then the cop may have succumbed to human nature and gotten irritated by it ... which lead to those comments being made. I can't even fathom the amount of B.S. that the police probably have to put up with in a given day and I'd probably have a hard time keeping that professional edge 24/7 myself under the right (wrong) circumstances. The kid is probably very lucky that he didn't get the Maglite to the head.
  14. Hahah... that dog is tacti-cool.
  15. Nah, let's keep it cost effective.
  16. Joe... Brian has a great idea. Maybe have the logo on the adjustable band in the back of the hat or embroidered on the back of the hat somewhere?
  17. I added some new avatars and smilies today. The smilies will be self explanatory as you find them. The new avatars are: If you have a manufacturer or an avatar idea that you don't see listed here, reply to the thread and I will do my best to get something added. You are always welcome to use an avatar of your own design, of course.
  18. By the way folks... one of the reasons why I also think the TGO initials work better for clothing is that there are times when subtlety is a good trait to have. Anyone who looks at the big TGO initials and logo won't immediately think GUNS! GUNS! GUNS! which could be a good thing in some circles. That's another reason why I personally would very likely wear a hat or shirt with that logo in a more subdued color scheme, especially at work on casual days. People who know me and know my interests will immediately understand the logo and spot the URL. People who don't, won't... and that's good.
  19. Do you guys like this? I think it will flow a little better in embroidery form than the logo at the top of each page here. The gray background is just there to give a little contrast. The watermark is there for intellectual property reasons.
  20. Graphics are a comin'. I've been absolutely covered up at work this morning. My penance for taking yesterday off, I'm afraid.
  21. Money that his wife hasn't spoken for.
  22. You'd be more than welcome to shoot mine any time you want. I'd really suggest shooting one before buying as -- for some reason -- they definitely feel different to me than a lot of other guns do.
  23. Yeah but... **** happens, slides get locked back prematurely, mags jam, you get your strong arm injured, etc. I like ambi controls.
  24. But... it has... an EXPOSED HAMMER!

    New Toy!

    Very sexy, señor.
