  1. I'm sensing that if some TGO logo'd lowers were made up you might be a little closer to that palatial estate.
  2. The P220 feels a ton different in my hand than the 229 does for some reason, so I know where you're coming from. Oddly, the slide is the same width on the 229R and the 220 Carry. You might want to keep that in mind when holster shopping if you do get the 220 yourself. A lot of the threads I've seen on the subject of holsters state that people are buying the 229R holsters for their 220 Carry models.

  4. And does anyone else think we should have "Trash Talkin Fridays" threads from now on?
  5. I burned up some of Joe's 5.56 the other day... is he going to kneecap me the next time I'm in there? Oh btw... my brother has a SIG 229 in .357 and he wants to get rid of it. You're swearing off DA/SA though aren't you?
  6. Hey hey hey! Let's keep this on track here. This is about Eddie being a shmoe... not about me being a dumb ass.
  7. Don't you guys have one of his SIGs sitting there in the cabinet? That sounds like a fair way to wipe his tab clean.
  8. I could have sworn I heard Dan say something about Eddie owing you guys $100 from an upside down gun trade-in. Something about a P2000 with LEM trigger that someone didn't want but he really recommended the hell out of.
  9. Your mom. Oh... wait...
  10. Well, yeah... we could do that but then it wouldn't be even mildly reminiscent of our logo.
  11. Welcome, and Go Smyrna Bulldogs! ( They have a better track record right now than the Titans, and I like to root close to home )

    New XD

Congrats on a fine weapon. If yours was one of the newer ones with the melonite finish, you should be good to go. Otherwise, they look great in NP3.
  13. I really hope that people remember that this stuff doesn't come easy and that it costs something to produce these materials. I've seen the Hero Gear embroidered hats and they look sharp.
  14. Logo was posted here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=29862
  15. I used to own a P226R (railed model) in .40SW and it was a great gun. It was a bit heavier than a comparably sized polymer .40SW handgun but that added weight helped compensate for the higher bore axis and related muzzle flip. I'd like to own one again but I'd probably go with a 9mm this time. Only because I'd like one to run cheaper ammo through.
  16. I have an H&K flex-fit hat that I am trying to smash down to the point that it doesn't look like a trucker hat. That's the only bad thing about them.
  17. My wife's already called you?!?
  18. I was joking. I think if it were my JOB to maintain professionalism in spite of assclownery, I could pull it off. I might go home and kick the cat at the end of my shift, but I'd pull it off. Since I'm not in that situation it's easier to just say that I have heard from reputable sources that a 6-cell Maglite makes an excellent persuasive device. "Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!"
  19. Leave the URL in there. </command decison>
  20. I'd be up for several things right off the bat. A khaki polo hat in both the subdued and full color logo and a 5.11 polo in both versions of the logo.
  21. Eh... no URL would be kind of wimpy and pointless if we're trying to bring people here. Some folks just won't ask, but if they saw what the URL was on your hat (or shirt) they might come here anyway. I'm one of those guys who normally won't ask if I don't already know. It took me a long time to figure out why I shouldn't have a rainbow sticker on my pink Mazda Miata.
  22. Pull up a rug and make yourself at home.
  23. If this ColtCCO kid was being an a-hole to the cop, then the cop may have succumbed to human nature and gotten irritated by it ... which lead to those comments being made. I can't even fathom the amount of B.S. that the police probably have to put up with in a given day and I'd probably have a hard time keeping that professional edge 24/7 myself under the right (wrong) circumstances. The kid is probably very lucky that he didn't get the Maglite to the head.
