  1. Walther-America is served through Smith & Wesson and it has been my experience that they are SUPER at taking care of the customer. By all means I would send the P22 back to them with a description of what is happening and see if they can make it right for you. The best part? They will pay for complete round-trip shipping.
  2. No, I've had some really bad things going on lately and just have not had the time to finish organizing it. It sounds like this upcoming weekend is a bust for the Hero Gear folks anyway because of business commitments that Joe has, but perhaps next. It would have to be an informal get together at this point because of what I've got on my plate right now.
  3. I would use a program like Google's free Picasa software to resize the photos on your computer before uploading them.
  4. Wow... and he was using pliers too. Hard core.
  5. He's using them to hold his Glock while he cleans it out.
  6. I've done quite a bit of reading on the Kel-Tecs and it seems like owners fall into one of two categories: Those who have had no problems and those who have had nothing but problems. One guy claimed that it was the safest pistol that he owns. So safe that half the time it wouldn't go off even if he wanted it to.
  7. The new Walther PPS looks like a much better alternative to the KelTec and other "cheap" pocket pistols with questionably reliability. http://www.waltheramerica.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=13152&storeId=10002&productId=60535&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=44304&isFirearm=Y http://www.waltheramerica.com/wcsstore/Walther/upload/other/PPS_BROCHURE.pdf http://www.gunsandammomag.com/ga_handguns/waltherthin_091807/
  8. I believe that the new law supersedes this.
  9. I can't help but noticed that there are some sections of metal without holes in them.
  10. Gander Mountain in Paducah, KY had one in their display case when I was there last week. I got to play with it a bit and really liked what I felt. Very ergonomic. I've been tempted to add one to the collection for a while now.
  11. I take it you've never tried to have that done. It doesn't happen very easily. I know you're being trite but I think anyone who argues that angle should be forced to use a baseball bat to defend themselves while I'm shooting at them.
  12. That's crazy talk there. Don't you know that while the state trusts you to carry your firearm most places, as soon as you set foot onto school property, a municipal park or a restaurant that serves alcohol, you instantly become someone who shouldn't be trusted anymore?

    Nice choice!
  14. No, not even that. Felony should probably = no carry, but should not = inability to defend yourself in your own home. Period. There are plenty of people out there who have made some stupid decisions and ended up with non-violent felony convictions against them. White collar crimes, for example. Should those people be stripped of their right to protect themselves and their family after they serve their time? Again, if we're talking about carrying then I can see the problem especially if it's a felony conviction for a violent crime. But a man's home is his castle and he shouldn't be deprived of his ability to defend it. Just my opinion.
  15. I hate you. Can I shoot it?
  16. To have a gun at home? Minimum standard = to be an American citizen. To carry it, I agree with your post.
  17. Nah, I mean... it's the whole helmet. climbing gear, staring down at you from above thing.
  18. Well, the easiest way is just to upload a file and it will create the gallery for you on the fly. http://www.tngunowners.com/photos/uploadphoto.php
  19. Welcome welcome!
  20. Seriously..... thats gonna give me nightmares.
  21. I feel ya, brother. The camera is conspiring against us.
  22. I sure would love to have another lower to build a 6.8 on...
  23. People around here seem to absolutely love the Smith & Wesson J-Frame revolvers. I definitely would not want to be on the receiving end of a +P .38 Special hollow point out of any gun with a good shooter behind the sights. I guess my only recommendation would be to avoid the Airlite versions of the J-Frame since the recoil absorbing properties of such a light weight gun would probably suck really bad. Especially on "hot" cartridges. You can see the whole line of J-Frame revolvers here. Also, I'd do some homework first and make sure that any states you travel through would honor your Tennessee carry permit and that you wouldn't be in violation of any local laws regarding transportation of the firearm.
  24. The easiest thing to do is upload your photo to our Gallery and then come back to this thread and post a reply. When you post the reply, click the button inside the thread rather than use the quick reply feature. When you use the full editor, there is a small link beneath the collection of smilies that will let you quickly add your photo to the post. The link is in a small area labeled My Pics and says [Open]. Click the Open link and you'll be shown a pop-up window that has your most recent photos. Choose the photo you want add, click it, you're done!
  25. You're saving it for Eddie aren't you? You're the man!
