  1. Nice trigger discipline. Only goofed once! </typical gun forum post>
  2. Merry Christmas, everyone!
  3. It won't. You know I'm open to come down there instead!
  4. You know... Ah crap. We had ours posted first! I could be persuaded to move ours to Sunday if enough folks see that there is a conflict here.
  5. Welcome, soldier. Merry Christmas and stay safe.
  6. Was anyone else waiting for a ground to air missile to take him out in that video?
  7. I've bought some ammo and AR mags from them in the past. Shipping was prompt. I've never been to their bricks and mortar store, however.
  8. Yeah so... you getting that better job or something?
  9. Best Christmas move... EVER.
  10. Can I get you to take out one of the MTV satellites? Just one... doesn't matter which.
  11. I've seen that before. Merry CHRISTmas.
  12. Check into Hard Chrome or NP3 then. You won't be disappointed.
  13. Congrats on your impending defection from Communist Illinois. You do know that Centerville is pretty much in the center of nowhere, right? You will be pretty close to the folks at North Tennessee Practical Shooters (NTPS) who have an awesome outdoor facility at which they host USPSA events. I'm not sure what other ranges or shops are nearby.
  14. There's always Robar's NP3 or Tripp Research's Hard Chrome if you want bling. But then we'll have to change your name.
  15. Leave it alone. SIG stainless isn't so stainless. I've had to keep all of my bi-tone SIGs coated with a thin coat of oil just to keep the slide from pitting. Granted the pitting was very small and hardly noticeable, but it does happen. Their steel just has too much iron content in it to be significantly rust resistant. Their Nitron finish is a really good one. I'd leave it or send the slide back to SIG for re-finishing if you're worried about looks.
  16. New members can only post in the new member introduction forum for the first few days. It keeps spammers from bombarding the whole forum as soon as they sign up.

    I'm a 1911 owner

Training does not have to happen at a school. Training can be done by yourself at a range as long as you're teaching yourself the right things and not the wrong ones.

    New gun!

Keep the .40SW barrel. Much cheaper to shoot .40SW than .357SIG.

    M&P45c?

    Supposedly, yes.
  20. My new desktop, you sexy IRS workin' SOB... Just kidding.
  21. I love my MTAC. But I love my Versa-Max 2 even more. If you can, order a VM2 from Milt Sparks and stick it out for a few months for yours to be made and shipped to you. Or check with www.lightningarms.com and see if they have one in stock. As comfortable as the MTAC is and as invisible as it makes a 1911, the VM2 does it even more so.
  22. Can you sell them something that will explode when they pull the trigger? Consider it a community service.
  23. Those are some bichon dogs, guys.
