1. Hunter is going to email them to me soon and I'll host them in our gallery.
2. It looks like it may be a problem with my coding behind the scenes. I'm going to take a closer look at it today.
3. Yesterday convinced me that I really want another automatic rifle of some sort. Shooting my old .30-06 was fun and proved to me that my Nikon scope can hold zero for over eight years w/o fiddling with it... but it also made me start thinking dirty thoughts about another AR platform rifle. Maybe I'll go .308 this time...
4. Also, several have suggested grilling burgers or hot dogs on site at OHGC. If the OHGC governing body is okay with that, then so am I. My recommendation would be to eat at a restaurant in June and aim for July to have a cook-out if it is permitted by the gun club. This will give time to solicit permission from OHGC and then seek volunteers to bring supplies, food, a grill, etc. July is a great cook-out month anyway.
5. WHEN: Saturday, June 21, 2008. 11:30am - ?? WHAT: Middle Tennessee TGO Meet & Shoot WHERE: Spring Hill, TN (Owl Hollow Gun Club) We will all meet for lunch at 11:30 in Spring Hill at the Owl Hollow Gun Club. Lunch will be grilled on site! (click here for map) Cost to shoot is $5.00 per person. You must supply your own eye and ear protection, paper targets and target hanging materials. Handgun pits require clothes pins or tape to hang targets from a wire stretched across the pits. Rifle lanes require a heavy duty staple gun to fix your targets to the backer boards. Recommend that you bring insect repellent. Weather dependent, also bring sunscreen and/or shoes that you don't mind getting muddy and dirty. This is an OUTDOOR range. Directions To Owl Hollow Gun Club Range is located approximately 10 miles south of downtown Franklin, Tennessee in Williamson county. From I-65 South/North take the Peytonsville Road exit, #61; go West about .7 mile to the red light at South US 431 (Lewisburg Pike); turn South (towards Lewisburg) onto US 431 and go approximately 6.5 miles to Owl Hollow Road; turn west onto Owl Hollow Road; the range is located approximately 1.1 miles on the left side of the road. Approximate GPS Coordinates for those with GPS devices: Latitude 35.7606 N ; Longitude -86.8571 W Please RSVP via the calendar entry (CLICK HERE) if you are attending.
6. We ordered a JIT slide for my wife's S&W #642 and it arrived in the mail today while we were at the TGO meet. I was pretty impressed with how well the holster tucks the revolver up against your side. Not bad at all for such an inexpensive piece of leather.
7. I was up at 5:30am painting one of our upstairs bedrooms. I broke for the TGO meet & shoot, came home, washed my truck then went back to painting. It's 10:20pm now... I just finished and showered. Tell me again about this HGTV? What channel is it on Comcast so that I might block it from our television.
8. I've got a Wilson... it's just a lot cheaper for me to shoot 9mm.
9. Range Report #1... We attended the middle TN Meet & Shoot today and I got to run the Glock 19 for the first time. I'm guessing I put about 250 rds through it. No malfunctions of any sort, fresh out of the box with no pre-flight prep done to the gun at all. No oil, no cleaning, no anything. Just bang bang bang bang. I love it.
10. I have a new one... MolonlabeTN "bump firing" a 12 gauge autoloader.
11. Also, I'm moving these posts out of the NRA thread and into a new thread in the Feedback and Support forum.
12. I'll check into this. It's going to be later in the weekend before I'll get a chance to really sit down and look at it though. Sorry.
13. I'd try clearing the web browser cache if I were you. Or hold down the shift key and press F5 to reload every graphic on the page. For some reason, your browser is showing it hit-or-miss.
14. What web browser are you guys using? I see the icon perfectly on all of my computers using IE7 or Firefox.
15. Saw that thread on Glocktalk earlier and actually replied to it. Had no idea who you were over there.
16. You can RSVP on the Calendar event page if you'd like... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2008-5-17&e=159&c=1
17. The bottom line is that the judge will very likely say that you were caught doing 12 miles over, on radar or clocked by a patrol car, and that you were guilty. Therefore you now have to not only pay the ticket but court costs. I'd pay the ticket, consider it a donation and move on. But if they offer the class, take the class to avoid having the penalty show up on your insurance.
18. It's not disappearing from where I'm sitting.
19. Was there an option to take an online safety class to avoid it being turned in to your insurance? If so, pay it, take the class, move on.
20. Just a reminder, this is this Saturday in Spring Hill, TN. See page 1 of this thread for details.
21. Because I like to be reminded of just how bad television in the 70's SUCKED.
22. Some of the posts made contained remarks that didn't foster good fellowship among the users. When that happens, posts will disappear without warning and sometimes without explanation.
23. I saw this a little earlier and it made me laugh. I know... the anti-gunners meant it for bad, but I'm capable of laughing at myself. Click for larger version:
24. Freaking sweet. I guess I still have game after all.
