  1. Yeah but what about primers? Or powder? Huh? Huh? HUH?
  2. I guess I didn't read it that way. Why do you interpret it as such?
  3. You should probably sell it now before it goes off by itself and shoots you while you sleep. I own a 1911, M&P, J-Frame and Glock presently. I have owned a handgun from pretty much every popular make and model over the past 15 or so years. None of them have ever struck me as being any more or less safe than each other. The Glock included. Every time I see the argument about whether or not a Glock is any less save than another firearm, I remind myself that some people just aren't going to be swayed no matter how convincing the evidence is to the contrary. Some people just won't feel good about a gun unless it has a manual safety on it. And this is exactly why Springfield now produces an XD and Smith & Wesson now produces an M&P with manual safety levers. Not because they are any more "safe" but because it makes people feel safe. HanSolo, you need to trade your XD off for one of the new ones with the thumb safety. Gravity may increase exponentially without warning and cause your grip safety to be sucked into the frame thereby allowing an accidental discharge!

    AR-15 to 6.8

About 2,400 feet per second. And you can practically hear the cash register ka-ching every time you pull the trigger. About $19 for 20 rds in most places.
  5. We've added a new flavor of gun lube. Salisbury Steak.
  6. My milkshake brings Joe to the yard. What can I say.
  7. The day isn't over yet and my wife hasn't been pissed at me yet. Let 'er rip.
  8. Huh... well ain't that some ****. I've never had that problem with my Glock.
  9. Damn.... three months!
  10. It ain't over til it's over... so watch your back! And congrats.
  11. Cool. Well if the BATFE has gotten far enough with yours to let you know that you were missing an item, then once they receive it you'll be fast-tracked to completion with your assigned examiner.
  12. I keep seeing him as Dagonet, one of the Knights in "King Arthur". What's this WWII zombie move you speak of?
  13. Is this for another NFA toy or did something get derailed on your AOW?
  14. The roof rack on the topper gave it away. Yes sir! That's some good stuff right there. Hell, I need to fix the vacuum hubs on my 250 so that 4wd even freaking works this winter. You know, in case Nashville gets a dusting of snow.
  15. Clearly a redneck! And I bet you wear 5.11 gear too! And hang out in gun shops a lot!
  16. Saved by a technicality!
  17. That's cool. I tend to think of guys in big 4x4 trucks as being rednecks. Knee jerk reaction I guess. Too bad I also drive a big 4x4 F250 diesel.
  18. If you walked away with the impression that speed is more important than accuracy, I'm not sure what you saw or participated in. Both are equally important as is often expressed in the statement that "you can't miss fast enough to win".
  19. Why is it sad that you can't disagree? Are you ashamed that you think Islamic terrorists should get the business end of an UZI?
  20. A police officer can legally detain you for 48 hrs without filing charges against you. They can likewise run a complete trace on a firearm and be within their rights to do so. Why would they do this? Because you shot your mouth off at them instead of being polite and playing nice. The lesson here is to be respectful, courteous and professional and that the LEO will most likely return the favor. I ran my mouth to a cop once after he pulled me over for what I perceived as a complete BS reason. He gave me a nice $100 ticket for my trouble. When I bitched about it to my retired cop grandfather, he told me "Looks like you talked yourself into a ticket." I was 17. I learned my lesson early.

    any H&k guys?

I like them, just don't own any presently. My last was a P2000 .40SW and before that was a USPc 9mm and before that a USP 40.
  22. @ group buy Red is perfect for a sight screw. You don't want that to come loose. A grip panel is another story. I remove my grip panels periodically to clean beneath them as part of a thorough detail strip. Therefore blue Loctite is perfect for them. But I don't remove my rear sight as part of a detail strip. Do you?
  23. Make sure you put those suckers on there with green Loctite too! (just kidding)
