  2. A kydex holster for a Hi-Point probably looks like a VHS cassette case.
  3. Somewhere, someone else is saying that same thing about a Lorcin also.
  4. Let's leave the off-topic harassment out of the thread. This forum is for discussing competitive shooting sports, not real-world tactical ninja stuff.
  5. He has an upper and lower block kit that I had on hand. I guess both of us forgot to post that I had one for him.
  6. My wife and I had a talk last night after reading this thread. She understands that this would probably get someone shot. Now on the other hand, I absolutely want to know where the bloody arm came from so that I can let our Doberman gleefully prance around with it in his mouth when the Trick or Treaters come.
  7. Sadly it seems that nothing much has changed over there since the last time I went.
  8. Tower, that sounds really nice. Is there any way at some point you could take a picture of the view up there and post it for those of us who weren't able to make it? Thanks!
  9. This used to be an HTML how-to guide hosted by the Maryland AR15 Shooters site but the document was missing the last time I tried to search for it. So I revived a copy that I had saved, cleaned it up in MS Word and then saved it back off as an Adobe PDF file. You can download it directly from this post. Summary: Improved Battlesight Zero.pdf
  10. You should have given him directions to East Side.
  11. There was a recent thread about this on M4C and someone referenced a similar thread on barfcom. Based on everything I read, I would spend the extra and go with the TacSol upper hands down. I have no issues with my Spike's lower but TacSol is well established in the .22LR world and their customer service is reported as being top, top notch.
  12. I've run the stock polymer furniture on my Remington 7600 since the day I bought it. Have had no need to replace it for accuracy's sake and have taken plenty of deer and a handful of coyotes with it.
  13. Yeah, we really like him. The two Bostons are really low maintenance and together maybe equal the vet requirements of one bigger dog. That's the only saving grace for us. Hopefully Max won't need a whole lot of Vet attention other than the normal annual checkups and such.
  14. Well Max is back at work with me again today. It appears that he caught tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) while he was at the shelter. It's not uncommon at all for this to happen. Lots of sneezing, lots of coughing. They put him on an antibiotic but two of the side effects of it are that he is extremely thirsty and extremely sleepy. So he'll probably spend most of the day passed out on the floor with his water bowl in front of him but need bathroom breaks during the times when he is awake. Poor little monkey.
  15. We had one of their RSO's sign up here in the early days of the forum and he didn't last very long with us. Quite a few people, myself included, tore into him about some of the same things you guys are saying. Just ask HunterH... people become RSO's because they are power mad! (just kidding, Hunter)
  16. Tasteless. But I admit that the line "Bad polar bear!" made me laugh.
  17. I was just sitting here thinking about The Todd from Scrubs. "The Biden appreciates hot regardless of gender".
  18. Yeah but you've mispronounced "goober" in your user title. Goober Insurer. See?
  19. Anyone else notice the similarities between Biden and the evil Count Olaf in Lemony Snicket?
  20. Let's use this thread as an AAR for the Biden / Palin VP candidate debate. I'll try to clean the puke out of my shoes before we start.
  21. Haha... I couldn't stand it anymore so I called them just a moment ago. APPROVED!!!! In fact, it was approved just today. She said that it should go out in the mail either today or tomorrow and that I might see it as early as Saturday. Can't wait.
  22. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't come in yet this week but there's still three more days. The trend looked like I would see it during the first week of October. Guess we'll see.
  23. There's nothing against it in the rules, so I'd say go right on ahead. The only mention alcoholic beverages as being forbidden.
