  1. We plan to vote either tonight or tomorrow night.
  2. Depending on how much time it takes for me to get my SBR properly sighted in, I may be up for that. I've got to go pick up some ammo on Saturday so that I can work with the rifle and get it set where it needs to be. That's my priority right now. Fun and games can happen after it's done.
  3. Hopefully we'll have something a little "special" for this since we're coming up on Halloween. I've placed an order this morning so it just depends on whether the US Post Office can get this here by Saturday.
  4. The ideal length is probably 11 - 11.5 inches. I didn't want to wait for BCM to get their 11-inch uppers back in stock so I went with the 10.5 LMT. But if you're looking for reliability they say that those lengths are less finicky about the size of the gas port.
  5. I'm sure someone has but no one is saying. Or at least no one from OHGC is.
  6. This has been discussed here quite a few times recently. It's true, it is not a rumor. Per an email that was sent out recently: A meeting is scheduled for OHGC Members *TONIGHT* to discuss this matter and vote upon it. I hope to be able to attend.
  7. Nice! Smyrna is going to be the safest place to be when the zombies start attacking.
  8. It's working flawlessly with that buffer setup. I have a standard carbine buffer in my box of parts if I ever need to swap out for some reason, but the H1 and H2 were both highly recommended by "people who know".
  9. Nope, we're actually down in Smyrna. It sounds like this is a pretty widespread problem though. :-\ If I'm tracking you correctly, you're saying that the town's response was to increase the speed limit? Wow.
  10. Easy there, Trigger. You wouldn't tell this guy to stop wearing "club shirts" because only high school kids dress in tight clothes, would you?
  11. Unfortunately I missed the boat on it. Someone needs to re-produce them.
  12. Take your man-card back from your wife and tell her family you'll see then when you get back from shooting. Or just bring them with you.
  13. Smart Tuck, MTAC and Versa-Max are all good options. The Smart Carry (thunderwear, twig n' berries carry) is also a good option.
  14. Must... not... drink coffee... while reading posts like this.
  15. In all seriousness (and an attempt to get back on topic) carrying a handgun ultimately involves a bit of a compromise. You may have to wear a size larger shirt than you normally would, or an over-shirt, or a shirt cut a little looser. This is no different than if pocket-carry was your thing but you traditionally wore ball hugger jeans. That won't work if you're carrying a handgun in your pocket. The bottom line is that you're going to need to make a minor concession in the way you dress in order to provide the sort of cover that you're wanting. It doesn't mean you suddenly have to start wearing Tommy Bahamma shirts.
  16. Careful... Eddie may challenge you to a walk off with a statement like that.
  17. If you pass on buying a few new things from Abercrombie, you might.
  18. Despite my attempts at humor, my suggestion of pocket-carry with a small automatic or revolver was the real deal. You seriously might look into that.
  19. Bumping this thread... How many of you who voted are still going to be there? And if you indicated that you will be bringing guests, how many guests? Thanks.
  20. Then you might be set!
  21. Just remember, you should never carry a white handgun after Labor Day. That's when you need to bring out your black handguns.
  22. Your wardrobe requirements are similar to those of most women so it sounds like you will face many of the same challenges that they do. Namely, form fitting shirts vs. carrying off the body in your purse. That being said, I'd seriously recommend you give some thought to a small automatic like the Keltec P3AT or the Ruger LCP... or a small revolver like the Smith & Wesson J-Frame, that you could carry in your front pants pocket. That or embrace the style of wearing bowling shirts or polos that don't show off your heroin-addict physique.
