  1. Why why why why WHY didn't this man run for office instead of McCain??? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JC_Watts I've been a fan of former Congressman Watts for some time now. Christian, Conservative, good track record. He was actually brought up on more than one occasion leading up to the 2004 elections as being a prime VP replacement for Dick Cheney were Cheney to have ceded his position to someone else for W's second term. He was also mentioned as a good VP pick for McCain prior to the choice of Sarah Palin. A Watts-Palin ticket in 2012 maybe???
  2. I'm gonna say you probably want to be wearing as plain vanilla of a shirt as possible when you step off the bus.
  3. That photo angle (side view) wasn't very good and really doesn't show the sharpness of the leading angle. I'll try to get a better picture soon. I don't mind sharing that at all. I ordered them from www.skdtac.com and they cost $120 shipped to my door.
  4. I think us CIS class grads will never forget little things like that. It was the very first thing i tried once I installed them on the gun. It's got a really nice aggressive bite to it and worked perfectly for hooking on the holster, hooking on my belt, counter top lip, the dog's head...
  5. Let me say first and foremost that I am grateful for your service to and sacrifices for this country. As a Marine, you have my gratitude and my admiration. But when it comes to moving to another country, there are plenty in this world that already provide a socialist government to those who wish to live under such. There is no reason for us to move there when you could. I would happily buy you a one way airline ticket to any of them provided you agree to stay there and become an ex-pat. Me? I'm going to stay here and fight for the country that I love. I am not ready to see it become Europeanized and will do everything within my power as a citizen and a patriot to fight against this new brand of socialism disguised as Progressivism. Once upon a time you took an oath to defend our Constitution. Now, the man who somehow managed to be elected yesterday, and his regime of "Change" will begin dismantling and castrating it right before your eyes. I'm surprised that sits well with you. God have mercy on us all.
  6. It's the only way to show spirit!
  7. Why not just go with a Revocable Living Trust and skip the need for a CLEO signature?
  8. Yes they are taller than stock. I imagine they'd work quite well to clear a suppressor.
  9. Ah... outrun by Oh Shoot.
  10. Shotguns must be 18 inches from the closed breech to the end of the barrel. You need a tax stamp in order to go 16.
  11. Judging by what the polls are looking like tonight, Col. Ripley checked out just in time.
  12. It looks like we're screwed, gentlemen.
  13. I think we're all going to need plenty of this for the next two years at least, and that's assuming that America has enough of Obama and the DNC by 2010 that the Conservatives are able to take back Congress.
  14. I have been using Ameriglo "Operator Professional" sights on my Glock 19 for a while now but found the triple-dot design to be a little distracting. More so after I installed a 10-8 Performance plain rear sight on my M&P 9L as is my usual custom with those firearms. Anyway, about a week ago I ordered some Warren Tactical / Sevingy Carry tritium night sights for the Glock and finally got around to taking some pictures of them installed. These really help me get my hard sight picture down fast and I am fairly pleased with them so far.
  15. The media elected Obama months ago.
  16. It should be working now. There was a compatibility issue between it and the vBulletin 3.8 (beta) software that I had to hunt down and fix.
  17. Weird. Let me see what's happening here.
  18. We have added the real-time chat feature back to the forum tonight for the elections! Feel free to join in by going to Flash Chat. Enjoy!
  19. Comp-Tac MTAC or Milt Sparks VM2, inside the waist band.
  20. You just killed the funny.
  21. Hustler Hollywood on Church Street (Nashville) sells them as part of their "Flash-Bang Play Set". If I buy two more, my fifth is free.
  22. Here's my take on the whole issue of race in this election... The progressives want us to get past seeing color. FINE. But they are supporting a candidate for whose campaign race IS an issue and has been an issue regardless of their superficial efforts to play it off as anything else. Officially they want you to believe that race has nothing to do with it. Unofficially they are laughing all the way to the White House because they know that somewhere north of 90% of black voters will be casting ballots for Obama just because he's "one of them". Unfortunately for the black voter, quite a few of their "appointed leaders" in the black community (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, etc.) have been exploiting racism for a long time now purely for their own selfish ends. Race has been and will be an issue until people really no longer see color of skin when they look at a person. And frankly, I doubt that is ever going to happen. For proof, just look to the Middle East. For thousands of years, those people have been killing each other because of racism. Arab versus Jew, Sunni versus Shiite, Iraqi versus Iranian, and so forth. They have had far longer to come to terms with differences in skin color than we have had here in the United States. You would therefore think that if the human mind was capable of divesting itself of color-perception, it would have happened by now. But it hasn't. Racism is alive and well no matter how deplorable it is. Yes, black Americans were victims of discrimination in the past. It is a historical fact and cannot be argued against. BUT... the majority of that took place several generations ago and not at the hand of any who are left alive today, yet the spirit of hate is being kept alive by those who harbor it. Reparations? Official apologies by white Senators for things done years and years and years ago by people I'm not even related to? Really? What does that accomplish other than fuel the fire and keep hate and resentment alive? The concept of "reverse racism" has sadly become true. It's hard for me to believe anymore that a person offering peace with an outstretched hand really means it when his other hand is clenched in a fist, drawn back to strike.
  23. Freakin SWEET. You've fast-roped into bed before too, huh?
  24. Have I shown you my ninja climbing spikes?
  25. It's actually more of an Oakley combat glove. My hands get kind of sweaty sometimes and if you're wearing an iron gauntlet it ends up smelling funky.
