  1. The holster is intentionally designed with "extra" material because it's required to pull the holster in tighter to the body. I questioned that same aspect of it when I first saw photos of the holster elsewhere, but the answer was pretty much universally what I just said.
  2. Mike and Garrell just signed up as Authorized Vendors here on TGO. Expect to see their banner ad in the rotation very soon.
  3. My wife and I fully intend to move to Montana at some point. This is just icing on the cake.
  4. Just got an email. My Raven Concealment "Phantom" holster has been shipped. Pics as soon as it arrives!
  5. I did an M&P Compact grip insert in Pink Duracoat for XD Shooter's wife, Angel. This was my first run with the flex-agent added into the mix and I'm happy with the results. Of course Duracoat takes about 3-4 weeks to fully cure if you don't bake it, and there's not much of a way to bake a plastic piece without it ruining. I'll post pictures later and hopefully get some pictures of her M&P Compact with the grip installed at a later date. I guess I am getting into the Duracoating thing pretty heavy as I bought a second, better airbrush this week and also picked up a good respirator and a commercial quality HVLP commercial spray gun so that I can do larger pieces and complete firearm basecoats. The next project will be some AR-15 furniture in pink so that we can build up another rifle for my wife. Todd@CIS - Hit me up soon on those Beretta grips. I'm going to order some more colors and just need to know which gray you were wanting. They have a few different grays available but none that they call "gunmetal".
  6. Interesting. I'd heard that they were going to do a gas piston design this year but hadn't heard who's components were being used for it.
  7. I've made a few adjustments that should allow better tabbed browsing. I use tabs also but I typically only have 4-5 open at once.
  8. I'm going to work on it later today and try to clear out the blacklist a little so that you guys having trouble logging in won't have that issue anymore. I've got a few pressing issues to deal with offline first, but I will do it.
  9. Keep us posted on how well the Adams kit works. I saw them a while back and was intrigued, but it's still pretty much an unproven commodity isn't it?
  10. @tedbo - I was looking at the calendar yesterday and noticed that as well.
  11. Read my previous statement. We were online, your IP address block was probably blacklisted because of other people's actions.
  12. I think the problem that you guys are encountering is the tightened security. When a high number of connections open to our server from an IP address, the server ignores that IP address for a certain amount of time. About 10 minutes. You guys having problems may be using ISPs with proxy servers, which open more connections to TGO at once than they really need... or are opening multiple connections to us on behalf of multiple users. I'll lighten the restriction some to see if it helps.
  13. We run backups during the night. That generally slows it down a bit. AFAIK there were no DDOS issues last night.
  14. I've used Paypal since it started. I use it as a method of payment on three forums and have had hundreds of transactions through it. I've even used them to resolve a few disputes for goods on eBay that never arrived or arrived in horrible shape. No problems with them at all. BUT, if you want to mail a money order for Benefactor status, you can. TGO PO Box 2664 Smyrna, TN 37167
  15. To the best of my knowledge, yes. Or at least you could when OHGC ran the place. The limitation was that it had to be on the rifle lanes of course.
  16. I've got a few of them left. I'll be sure to bring them.
  17. Lloyd was clearly in the right place at the right time with the black one he just scooped up. I'm going to see how business goes for the next year or so and then maybe try to find one that I can pay cash for. I'm done with car loans.
  18. Those guys are thankfully far removed from the facility now.
  19. No worries. I need to re-tool the Newsworthy Reports forum since it's sort of overlapped by a few other forums here. My original intent was for it to become sort of an Armed Citizen type of thing with news about folks defending themselves. I think I missed the mark.
  20. Nice. I'm sure that being the car salesman that you are, you knew what to look for but 03/04 Cobras in decent shape are getting harder to find. Being that you pulled the SCT chip out of that one, I'd be inclined to let a mechanic with intimate knowledge of those cars go over it to make sure it's not been ridden hard. I have passed on the opportunity to buy three in the past year because all of them showed significant signs of neglect. My last car was one that I had owned previously, and sold again because the guy who owned it between me and me (again) beat the hell out of it. Car just wasn't the same anymore. I dig the white and dark windows. Looks really good. What are the mods?
  21. Folks, the Newsworthy Reports forum isn't the place for this. I'm moving it to the General Off-Topic forum. Thanks.
  22. While I'm sure that JWP knew he was opening a can of worms when he started this thread and called out another retailer for a safety issue, things seem to be getting a bit heated here among a few folks and what SUNTZU said pretty much sums up why this thread needs to come to an end. Sorry guys.
  23. By lead retrieval system, it sounds as though this is an active process that reclaims the lead without a lot of manual labor. How frequently are you having to sift through the media and reclaim the lead now? And are you doing that yourselves or do you have to get an environmental group to come in and do it? I've always been curious how this stuff works.
