  1. I made pretty good ground last week, then gave some of it up yesterday by virtue of nearly 1/2 gallon of beer consumed. But it was good beer. Back to the grindstone again today!
  2. Jennings, this is not the first time that you've tried to bypass the requirement of being a TGO Benefactor to post things for sale. I suggest that you either dig into your sofa cushion and find $25.00 to become a Benefactor and do it the right way or that you cut it out before you're removed from TGO completely. Thanks.
  3. I had a K&D Dakota Defender for my M&P 40C back in the day and loved it.
  4. Yes, that is my understanding. They do require rifle calibers be shot on rifle lanes, however.
  5. Great photos! Looks like a class that we're going to have to take sometime soon.
  6. And the gauntlet has been thrown! I love my Glock 19 and it seems to co-exist nicely with our various M&Ps inside the safe. Maybe the Glock is defective.
  7. Sadly I think that SEVERAL members here need to review our Code of Conduct again. Tennessee Gun Owners - FAQ: General Information There are proper ways to handle a disagreement with the moderators. What has transpired in this thread is NOT the proper way and will result in people being ejected from the TGO community if they persist in trying to rally a mob reaction. Some of you really should walk a mile in the shoes of a moderator sometime.
  8. I hope you can. Look forward to meeting you there.
  9. The warning was issued because your post was in poor taste given that it was in the Women & Firearms forum and the video was of a female police officer mishandling a firearm. Whether you meant it or not, the perceived intent of that post was to belittle our female members. My suggestion is to use better judgment next time.
  10. 25yds. You're welcome to shoot handgun on the 25, 50 and 100 yd rifle lines as well.
  11. How large is the cabinet that you bought? I had a Sentinel cabinet that I sold here recently and should have kept for other purposes. Now I wish I had it back.
  12. Sorry... had to get that out of the way first. Welcome to TGO.
  13. I would say no. The odds of the .GOV restricting the sale of Taurus revolvers are far less than the odds of them restricting the sale of AR15s. You should be able to trade just the two Tapco magazines for anything made by Taurus. Seriously, Taurus doesn't have the best reputation for after the sale support. I'd look for a revolver from another manufacturer if it were me, and then re-consider the trade.
  14. If it's a rumor or a question, it doesn't belong in the Newsworthy Reports forum. Sorry. Moving this.
  15. Sounds like we really need to make this happen on a few Sundays this year.
  16. Welcome! Definitely investigate CIS in Smyrna for your instruction needs. My wife took her HCP class from CIS and she and I both have taken their Defensive Pistol Class. www.criticalincidentstrategies.com
  17. Welcome! Hope you stick around and join our other female shooters in our Women & Firearms forum.
  18. Tractor Supply sells Canon brand safes for reasonable prices. SAMS club often sells Canon safes also, often under the Browning brand. Costco probably does as well. I know that Hero Gear is a vendor for at least one major safe company and there may be others represented here that I'm not aware of. Regarding your search, I'd try it with the words GUN SAFE surrounded by quotes like this: "gun safe"
  19. Stop crossing my side of the seat!!!
  20. Us men can only encourage so many women to post without getting in trouble with our wives. It's up to you all to grow this forum if you want it to be more active!
  21. I don't think he is. It's his wife that he imported from Argentina or something like that.
  22. I wouldn't let my mother in law live in a warzone like that.
  23. Pioneer AVIC Z3 Pioneer USA - GPS Navigation Systems
