  1. That's really not a bad price if he also re-finishes the slide so that it won't corrode where the milling was done.
  2. No need to do that if you really like the holster! Just pick up a single-mag pouch for carry on your weak side and use the mag pouch in that holster for another spare mag or for carrying a flashlight or knife or something.
  3. Wouldn't having your spare mag on the same side of your body as your firearm prohibit fast reloads under stress? You'd almost certainly have to transition your firearm to your weak hand, dig for the mag, then juggle the mag/firearm to reload and re-engage the target.
  4. Contact David Bowie over at Bowie Tactical Concepts Home Page and inquire about it. He did the above M&P and can probably do the same for your Glock.
  5. Wish it were mine, but it's not. It has given me the desire to try it out on our M&P 9mm at some point though. Here's an article on the FN... TacticalGunFan.com - FNH USA Announces Specialized FNP-45 USG
  6. This is pretty cool. Even more cool is that the DR optic actually has a sight channel milled into it so that you can use it as a backup iron sight as well. The whole thing reminds me a lot of the new FN .45 that includes a red dot from the factory.

This sounds like the perfect, and only acceptable, use of a Hi-Point. Plus you can use it as a wheel chock when you have to change a flat.
  8. Some of those older threads contain feedback for the buyer / seller. If we nuke the old threads, that feedback goes as well.
  9. We tried it once before with the vbClassified software and more people complained than not.
  10. Senator Jackson told me this was coming when I met him this past Saturday. I'm glad to see it out there for public record now.
  11. Maybe more gun owners should ban bars. Just think about how much money you would save for better things if you just bought your beer at Kroger or your Jack Daniel's at the package store and responsibly enjoyed it in the comfort and safety of your own home. Whenever I've been in bars, I've often found myself surrounded by people I didn't like. If I'm having a drink at home, I don't have that problem and I'm not paying 400% markup on a bottle of beer. Sounds like a win-win scenario to me.
  12. Detroit's being done by the rest of the league.
  13. Very cool. I'll mention that during the next planning meeting.
  14. OHGC effectively no longer exists. The land that they previously leased is now being operated by the land owner as a privately owned gun range. Cost is $40 per year or $5 per day to shoot as a guest. The best way to join is to show up at the range. There is a sign on the shed near the rifle lanes that has the owner's name and phone number. Call the number and see if he is available to meet you and take your dues. He lives just right up the hill and is typically more than happy to walk down and give you the orientation.
  15. Detroit Tigers... Tavor... dude, why don't you root for something that has a chance for once?
  16. Is it posted? We can have the shoot there next time! It's just one more place that Musicman won't show up.
  17. I moved to TN after the fact. My home state (Kentucky) doesn't allow a business to restrict carry or any other nonsense like that, so it was an alien concept to me that a business could preempt the law.
  18. Glad to have you here with us! I really liked that little Keltec. It's the first of them that I've had the chance to shoot and I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate and controllable it was.
  19. Heck yeah! "Get your butt back in that game. You've got nine other fingers! What's the problem?!?"
  20. Pfft. You wouldn't show up even if we held the shoot in your kitchen on a Tuesday morning.
  21. My dad always told me to rub some dirt in it and walk it off. This is what's wrong with America; men in touch with their feelings.
  22. Pretty sci-fi looking. Can you set it for STUN?
  23. Here are a few that I shot and felt turned out pretty good... #1 - Our shorty AR15 #2 - Browning .30CAL #3 - Browning .30CAL #4 - Westwindmike driving the Browning #5 - Daniel watches as GT_Rat drives the Browning #6 - Shima takes his turn driving the Browning #7 - What's in the bed of YOUR pickup? #8 - Another view #9 - Ma Deuce #10 - Mark A running his SIG #11 - Another shot of the Shorty #12 - Anyone who refuses to shoot a Mosin because "it hurts" needs to talk to XD Shooter's 12 year old son about that. #13 - My wife shooting Hornet Handler's Springfield MC Operator 1911 #14 - XD Shooter's son firing their Mosin Nagant while proud dad looks on from behind #15 - Angel24/7 getting some trigger time behind their AR15 We tried to catch the muzzle blast out of this AR15 pistol but the Wolf ammo just didn't produce the fire ball that we had hoped. Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness the string using Federal XM193; they said it produced a good bit of blast.
