  1. HP38 / W231 will work for all of those but won't be winning any awards for maximum fps. It's a good workhorse powder from what I've seen so far.
  2. This morning I received my two that would have come from the M&P 9mm that I bought earlier this year as well. You should probably receive yours very soon also.
  3. Contact either L Graves or Barry Atty here via PM or call their office and ask to speak with one of them. Lyn and Barry are good people. Murfreesboro, Tennessee DUI Law. Price and Tidwell
  4. 100 proof... nectar of the gods.
  5. A man should know better than to post a photo of a mostly empty bottle of Single Barrel, having not first offered it to friends.
  6. PS: Anyone who wants a TGO hat, see me at the range. I'll bring what I've got on hand... khaki, khaki monotone, OD, a few black and a few pink.
  7. Nikki mentioned this guy to me in a recent conversation. I just refuse to give any more air time to this guy and don't see any point in any of us reading his garbage and getting worked up about it. He's a lonely, low-class, out of work pervert with a chip on his shoulder and enough free time on his hands to sit around and use his sticky little corner of the Internet as a bully pulpit for all four of his regular viewers, one of whom is probably his mom. I don't give two shakes for what someone like him thinks about anything, and won't be clicking through to his blog to find out. He won't be convinced, he can't be reasoned with, and he isn't going to change his opinion. Leave him to wallow in his bile and hatred, alone.
  8. I'm starting to think people don't read beyond the thread title before they post a reply. Again, cards, flyers, pamphlets, no matter what the shape or size are just going to be seen as passive-aggressive actions by restaurant staff and management. If you want to affect change, have a conversation with the people capable of making that change. This doesn't mean the waitstaff, it means the managers and the owners. Talk to them. Explain your concerns. Listen to theirs. Try to clear away any misconceptions they may have been given courtesy of the media. Make a positive impression, and be courteous. And most importantly, if they refuse to change their minds, politely thank them for their time and then come back here and post your report so that the rest of us know what restaurants to avoid.
  9. You can do that in the TGO Database. You can sort, search, add, delete... you name it. http://www.tngunowners.com/dynamics/search.php
  10. I stopped taking your complaint seriously when I spotted the fact that you joined in 2007 and have only 28 posts to your name, most of which involved buying or selling. It would be nice if you would become more involved on TGO in other areas rather than trying to use the forum as a 24/7 gun show. Of course, gun shows charge admission too so I guess you're really screwed.
  11. DRM has been shown to the door and won't be back. Our rules against advertising outside of the Classifieds forums are pretty clear, and they extend to signatures as well. While he may have thought it was clever to advertise in his signature, he wasn't the first person to try it and they too were removed from the forum for doing so. The bottom line is this: The classifieds forums on TGO, as stated previously, are not our primary purpose for existing. They are a convenience provided to our members and the ability to post in them is a perk for those who support my efforts to keep TGO afloat and who support TGO's efforts to do something good for the pro 2nd Amendment community here in Tennessee. I have made no effort to hide the fact that as of January 1, 2009, some of what TGO generates monetarily is also part of my own personal income. Having been laid off from my job and inspired to "go out on my own", I have diversified my revenue streams to try and survive. When people bitch about having to pay a minimum of $20 for 6-months worth of Benefactor status, they are in essence showing that the feel a sense of entitlement. I just don't understand people who operate under such self-centered, selfish ideals. When people try to find clever ways to skirt the system, they are, at a very basic level, stealing from both me and from TGO. I don't have any patience for that. Sorry for the rant this morning, but this sort of thing really torques me. I won't miss DRM and, frankly if what he said was true about only coming here to buy and sell in the first place, he shouldn't really miss us either.

    TGO shirts

Cool. Also, the shirts we've been using are sort of a "Underarmor" style dry-mesh that looks really sharp. The sizes run a bit on the large side. I wear an XL in them and can conceal a full size handgun with ease. If an XL is normally a bit loose on you, you might want to consider a Large instead.

    TGO shirts

Glad to hear there's interest. We'll get some prices put out shortly, but in the meantime I do need to mention that these will be "made to order" so there could be a 1-2 week delay on receiving them. The logistics of having shirts on hand all the time are just such that I can't do it right now. Stocking different sizes and colors would require far more money than I can devote to that. Stocking hats has proven difficult enough, and I still haven't heard back from a lot of people who expressed interest in them recently, so I'm stuck with far more of them in stock than I anticipated.
  14. An immediate response from me is not an indication that I haven't read something. It's an indication that I'm taking time to consider my response before making a knee-jerk decision.
  15. I've been using them in my .45ACP loads and they work quite nicely.
  16. We do have a database here although I'm not sure if folks find it easy to use. TGO Database
  17. I know an excellent plumber and he has property up around Waverly, TN. I don't know if he works up in Springfield, but I'll ask and let you know.
  18. About 20 of us converged on Pie In The Sky pizza in Franklin, TN. Had an excellent time and completely without incident.
  19. Outcast table? How come Hexhead was sitting with us then? NOW it makes sense. Man, I couldn't make out what you said your screen name was over the noise around us. My hearing sucks apparently. Sorry about that, and I'm glad you stopped by to visit!
  20. TGO is definitely going to have a table at this event. If you're interested in sitting as a group, post up a reply and we'll make it happen.
  21. Ahahahah... excellent pic, JHatmaker. And I concur; that 1911 is dead sexy.
  22. I want to hear more about the Salt Flats!
  23. Welcome! And thank you guys for showing up tonight. Always good to see new folks joining the group!
  24. Congrats! Every time a story like this is posted, another anti-gun chicken little loses his wings.
