HK P2000 .40 in an MTAC. This gun is quickly becoming my favorite for carry and I am questioning why I ever let the last one go. We went bowling last night and I wore it the entire time; no problems and very comfortable. Went bowling again today (bad idea doing that twice in a 24hr period) and again it was very comfortable and presented no problems. This combination of gun and holster is perfect for me.

Today... M&P 340 loaded with DPX .38spl in my pocket. I'm detailing the new G-Ride in the garage, so this is the easiest to carry. In honor of my late friend Marswolf, however, I have my HK P2000 sitting on the work bench in an MTAC holster in case I have to fend off a gang of low-riders.

It's just the more expensive option.

If they are avid outdoorsmen and shooters, then they fall into the category of people who really should expect to pay something for admission to these events. The kids who are 10 and under are typically dragged along by their parents and don't really want to be there to begin with, so we figure it's a little unfair to ask the parents to pay their way in. Please understand that we aren't doing this for philanthropic reasons. All parties involved, all the way down from the vendors, manufacturers represented, the guy leasing the building to us and even me and Joe hope to make some money off of this. We have to draw the line somewhere.

Most events like this CHARGE for kids under 10, just at a reduced rate. The decision to charge for kids 11 and older stems from the fact that at that age, they generally aren't "tag alongs" but are there because they want to be there.

I had to cancel my XM service when we traded our Acura off. The new car has SIRIUS (bleh) and I'd like to activate it but I don't want to pay full price if I don't have to. Just wondering if any of you have a current SIRIUS promo code that might enable me to save a little money.

DUB = I had Brembos on the Acura TL also, being that it was one of the last manual 6-speed models. Mashing down on them was like throwing an anchor out the window. It's about the same with the SRT8 despite it's portly 5000 lb GVWR. Yep... 5000lb.
