  1. There is a form that several of us were passing around on XD Talk a few years ago, that I copied and revised for Tennessee specifically and have posted in the Trading Post forums. You will find it as a sticky post. With some people there is a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about how it's un-American to expect them to fill out something like that, how dare you, blah blah blah. I don't want to deal with those people anyway. I like to have a little CYA involved when I sell a firearm. People have been filling out Form 4473 for years now when they buy a gun new, and have been writing bills of sale for cars and things like that for much, much longer. I don't see the big deal about requiring it, but some people do. Even if you don't really care about the CYA aspect, you should use the form just to be entertained.
  2. Did you notice the propaganda posters in that video that more or less hinted at that theme?
  3. A glimpse into our future perhaps?
  4. Hey, she laughed when I read it to her before posting it.
  5. This was going to be my recommendation as well. I have had Esmerelda's grips on some of my 1911s over the years and they are top notch.
  6. I've been running it for about 3 months now. Really fast, really stable. Exactly what Vista should have been. Think of it as Windows Vista: Apology Edition. Highly recommended.
  7. Most people say they marry their best friend. I call BS. Lock your wife and your dog in your trunk for an hour. When you open it, who's the one happy to see you. 148 times in a row it was my dog.
  8. Within reason, yes. I would only use Duracoat on plastics. For anything metal that can survive being exposed to heat, I'd use a thermally cured product like moly resin or Cerakote.
  9. Or our Diesel F250 4wd.
  10. For the record, we ONLY and WILL ALWAYS ONLY give ad space to businesses that sell goods and services relevant to firearms. Period. If you ever see something that isn't relevant to that, you can rest assured that it's not our ads that you are seeing.
  11. Your computer is overrun with spyware if you're seeing that garbage. Definitely not our fault.
  12. My HK45 has one of the best, smoothest, most predictable triggers of any DA/SA automatic that I've ever fired. Unfortunately it came with the HK-Tax.
  13. Send your M&P back to Smith & Wesson and have them install the Performance Shop sear and the Massachusetts compliant trigger return spring and connector. Thank me later.
  14. Ok... this thread I think has served it's initial purpose. In order to continue to promote your shop, someone there is going to have to commit to being a Supporting Vendor here on TGO. I'd be happy to discuss it with Brian. Until then, please refer back to our Code of Conduct [link] wherein we discuss the fact that we do protect our Vendors by prohibiting unauthorized advertising. Some of these posts are venturing straight into advertising territory, so it needs to come to a stop.
  15. The new clips aren't kydex and won't crack. I've bent the living hell out of them and no damage. If you've got kydex clips and you just purchased it direct from Comp-Tac within the past two months, someone down there screwed up and sent you old product.
  16. You're in luck...
  17. Mike, I think you can visit your friend Spuds at the next gun show and just ask him to introduce you to AKer/Slim/etc.
  18. Actually I think mcgyver210 is another person entirely; not this AKer guy.
  19. All of the PMs sent by that user have been deleted as has that user account. There should not be any further confusion.
  20. This issue has been taken care of.
  21. If anyone knows this AKer's real identity, please forward it to me.
  22. FYI ... "Pushups" is code for things that neither Todd or I can discuss on TGO.
  23. I want to hold one before passing judgment but this looks really cool.
  24. You were beat by jluttrell (by PM) by a scant 120 seconds. Sorry.
