  1. Your computer is overrun with spyware if you're seeing that garbage. Definitely not our fault.
  2. My HK45 has one of the best, smoothest, most predictable triggers of any DA/SA automatic that I've ever fired. Unfortunately it came with the HK-Tax.
  3. Send your M&P back to Smith & Wesson and have them install the Performance Shop sear and the Massachusetts compliant trigger return spring and connector. Thank me later.
  4. Ok... this thread I think has served it's initial purpose. In order to continue to promote your shop, someone there is going to have to commit to being a Supporting Vendor here on TGO. I'd be happy to discuss it with Brian. Until then, please refer back to our Code of Conduct [link] wherein we discuss the fact that we do protect our Vendors by prohibiting unauthorized advertising. Some of these posts are venturing straight into advertising territory, so it needs to come to a stop.
  5. The new clips aren't kydex and won't crack. I've bent the living hell out of them and no damage. If you've got kydex clips and you just purchased it direct from Comp-Tac within the past two months, someone down there screwed up and sent you old product.
  6. You're in luck...
  7. Mike, I think you can visit your friend Spuds at the next gun show and just ask him to introduce you to AKer/Slim/etc.
  8. Actually I think mcgyver210 is another person entirely; not this AKer guy.
  9. All of the PMs sent by that user have been deleted as has that user account. There should not be any further confusion.
  10. This issue has been taken care of.
  11. If anyone knows this AKer's real identity, please forward it to me.
  12. FYI ... "Pushups" is code for things that neither Todd or I can discuss on TGO.
  13. I want to hold one before passing judgment but this looks really cool.
  14. You were beat by jluttrell (by PM) by a scant 120 seconds. Sorry.
  15. Up for grabs... Ed Brow... just kidding! Up for grabs, Don Hume Agent 711 OT (open top) holster for 5-inch 1911, non-railed, right hand carry, cordovan color leather. Barely used. Easily a $60 holster but I figure someone here isn't carrying their 1911 the way that God and John Moses intended, so if I can fix that, I'm happy to help the cause. Please only speak for this if you do not already have a holster for your 1911, or if you're carrying it in some rickety POS plastic junk made it China. Either of those are an affront to the good Lord himself and this will make things right. Again, be honest. Don't snatch this if you aren't in need. Let someone who is take it.
  16. It's sad when a grown man acts like this. Very sad. Oh, and word.
  17. I spy a lot of M&Ps being used. Nice.
  18. I read an interview with Tommy Flannagan yesterday and he was saying that they are really going to develop more of a backstory with his character in this season and Season 3... so it sounds like he's not out for the count.
  19. We don't protect our vendors from their own practices. If it's a problem to them, they shouldn't have that policy.
  20. Honestly I think that this sort of damage control should be done by the owner of the shop rather than by an employee. Not that I doubt your sincerity for one second, but the people want to know that this spirit of "making things right" goes all the way to the top. If only one guy in the trenches is the only person with a profound sense of customer service, then it's going to be mighty frustrating when a potential client comes in and doesn't get you, or worse yet, you get burned out being the only one who has this mentality and leave for greener pastures. As an aside, I've been in there a few times and spoken with Brian about Franklin Gun Shop supporting the local gun owner community by becoming a Supporting Vendor here on TGO. He always seemed to dismiss it as if he was too busy to even talk about that. Perhaps a good way of making an inroad to the community would be to support the site that many of your customers and potential customers enjoy so much. Just an idea.
  21. I should ban myself for setting you up so perfectly.
  22. May it always be Mexican Food Night in your little fantasy world.
  23. I concur.
  24. I dunno, but I really hope that Chibs (Tommy Flannagan's character) isn't out for the count now.
