  1. I'm sidelined with other duties today.
  2. Man, I mail em... the .GOV delays em.
  3. Give in to the Dark Side.
  4. Agreed.
  5. And I was just getting good at sending things to APO APF boxes!
  6. It was definitely a good glass. We had a great time, despite my wife's inherent hate for the Glock. Thanks to Todd and Dustin for providing this to the CIS course alumni. A great perk and very appreciated.
  7. Hoodies are a definite possibility. I've been told by my people that they have "Big Head Hats" which is apparently a trade name. They aren't as cool and high fashion (lol) as our other hats but they do fit people with massive noggins. I plan to add that as an option. Look for it soon in the TGO Store. Stickers are indeed something I'm working on. I am trying to come up with a design that works well without having the word GUN in it since some people are sensitive about advertising their carry status on their car. Chances are it will just be the TGO logo without the URL or the name spelled out beneath it. People who understand will get it. People who don't will just pass it off. Check the TGO Store for shirts; we have them up to 6XL.
  8. Guys, I had the pleasure of speaking with Murle by phone today. He's good people!
  9. Ok... this really needs to stop. I admit that I am not a fan of James Yeager but this forum is a TOPIC ORIENTED forum and these comments are completely off-base and ruin the value of the thread itself. Let's focus on the fact that the original poster went out and got additional training. That's more than probably 99% of HCP holders in Tennessee do. PS: I am particularly disturbed that some of the participants in this melee were moderators. Come on, guys. Thread hi-jacking? In a topic oriented forum? NOT cool.
  10. Have you contacted Nikon yet? If not, you may be getting yourself all wrapped around the axle for no reason here. Call them. Only then will you know if you should be panicking or not. Chances are the cost of repair will be only a small fraction of the cost of a new camera.
  11. It should have made it in there but I had some help packing up those orders and sending them out. I'll get it sent to you asap.
  12. M&P 340 on my person. Glock 19 sitting on my desk.
  13. My pleasure! Glad to hear that they are making it out to those of you who bought them.
  14. As does Smith & Wesson. These are really good suggestions. It's all about "playing the angles" sometimes.
  15. Range facilities are still the major stalling factor. I can re-open this discussion with Magpul Dynamics any time, but we need a facility first.
  16. We've got some good instructors as Supporting Vendors here in TGO. Todd and Dustin at CIS are close by to Nolensville and I've personally been through several of their classes. You'll actually get better training in a small group like this than you might from a one-on-one at this point. You get to learn from everyone's mistakes, not just your own.
  17. Sending it back to Nikon is your best bet. Their customer service centers are similar to Canon's in that they are usually quick to address issues like this and give you an estimate for repair. Too many pro photogs out there use Nikon gear for them to drag their feet along and not respond quickly.
  18. You need a bigger monitor.
  19. This has been discussed before but I couldn't find the thread immediately. Short of it is, it works but you have to check the check-box before sending to retain a copy in your Sent Items folder.
  20. Cliffs Notes?
  21. It's not going to be anything mentally taxing. Just working the event. It may involve helping at the firearms check-in table, it may involve helping direct people in the parking lot... things like that. Just basic manual labor. I wanted to post it here before we open it up to the Arfcom crowd or, God forbid, temporary staffing.
  22. We are going to need some temporary workers to help with the December 12-13th Guns & Gear Expo event. The workers in question will be paid a daily sum (to be determined) and will be provided with a 1099 that they will need to file with their personal income taxes. At present we believe that we will need approximately 10 people to work both Saturday and Sunday. This number may change. What I am looking for right now is a list of people to call upon as we approach the end of November, who can commit to working both days. For more information about the event, head to Mid-South Guns And Gear Expo - Mid-South Guns And Gear Expo To submit your name for consideration, use the Contact Us form on the Guns & Gear Web Site. >>> LINK! <<< Do not use the one here on TGO!!! Thanks.
  23. Please see our rules about advertising. A simple email or PM asking for permission first would have been a better tactic.
