  1. M&P 340 on my person. Glock 19 sitting on my desk.
  2. My pleasure! Glad to hear that they are making it out to those of you who bought them.
  3. As does Smith & Wesson. These are really good suggestions. It's all about "playing the angles" sometimes.
  4. Range facilities are still the major stalling factor. I can re-open this discussion with Magpul Dynamics any time, but we need a facility first.
  5. We've got some good instructors as Supporting Vendors here in TGO. Todd and Dustin at CIS are close by to Nolensville and I've personally been through several of their classes. You'll actually get better training in a small group like this than you might from a one-on-one at this point. You get to learn from everyone's mistakes, not just your own.
  6. Sending it back to Nikon is your best bet. Their customer service centers are similar to Canon's in that they are usually quick to address issues like this and give you an estimate for repair. Too many pro photogs out there use Nikon gear for them to drag their feet along and not respond quickly.
  7. You need a bigger monitor.
  8. This has been discussed before but I couldn't find the thread immediately. Short of it is, it works but you have to check the check-box before sending to retain a copy in your Sent Items folder.
  9. Cliffs Notes?
  10. It's not going to be anything mentally taxing. Just working the event. It may involve helping at the firearms check-in table, it may involve helping direct people in the parking lot... things like that. Just basic manual labor. I wanted to post it here before we open it up to the Arfcom crowd or, God forbid, temporary staffing.
  11. We are going to need some temporary workers to help with the December 12-13th Guns & Gear Expo event. The workers in question will be paid a daily sum (to be determined) and will be provided with a 1099 that they will need to file with their personal income taxes. At present we believe that we will need approximately 10 people to work both Saturday and Sunday. This number may change. What I am looking for right now is a list of people to call upon as we approach the end of November, who can commit to working both days. For more information about the event, head to Mid-South Guns And Gear Expo - Mid-South Guns And Gear Expo To submit your name for consideration, use the Contact Us form on the Guns & Gear Web Site. >>> LINK! <<< Do not use the one here on TGO!!! Thanks.
  12. Please see our rules about advertising. A simple email or PM asking for permission first would have been a better tactic.
  13. Folks, In my signature you will notice a line asking that you please do not use private messaging (PM) to contact me for support issues. I ask that you instead post your questions here in the Support forum. The reason for this is because I, along with many on the TGO Staff, have private message boxes that border on overflowing all the time. Often support questions get lost in the mix and don't get answered as a result. It's not that we don't want to help... it's just the fact that there is only so much that we can stay on top of. Also, when you post a support question in this forum, everyone else gets to benefit from the answers given. Plus, you may find that one of your fellow TGO members will answer it before we even get a chance to. Of course there are times when using a PM is simply the more appropriate thing to do. When that is the case, by all means send me or a moderator a PM. Common sense will dictate when you should and when you shouldn't. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
  14. You should create a Memphis Social Group here on TGO and get people to join it.
  15. I'd say if it isn't on their web site, it isn't "official" yet.
  16. Thats OK. You're as welcome to disagree with my statement as I am to disagree with Oldogy's comment that this nation is formerly great. That's the beauty of posting on a message forum; by hitting [sUBMIT] you pretty much invite everyone else to comment on whatever you said.
  17. What's this about?
  18. The inclusion of the statement "from the wild" tells me that this statute really doesn't apply to what happens on your own property. I certainly would have no problem putting an end to any poisonous snake found in my own yard. I have the well being of my family and our dogs to be concerned with.
  19. If you take your time and use some patience and a hair dryer, you can re-shape the muzzle area of the kydex shell and open it up a bit so that it better accommodates the G26 and the G19.
  20. Try using this as a starting point... gun-deals.com - User-Submitted Gun & Ammunition Deals
  21. I actually mixed it up a little today. Carried the HK 45 most of the day with the M&P 340 in my pocket. This evening I wore the P2000 while we had the door open for handing out candy to the kids. It was a little easier to conceal discretely. I can't wait for my TT Gunleather IWB holster for the HK 45 to come in. Carrying it OWB just isn't my cup of tea. Even with a long shirt, it still wants to peak out the bottom.
  22. That's great!
  23. Patches are something that I'm looking into. Other items will be added as feasible. Some things just aren't possible at a reasonable price and other things aren't possible without being ordered in huge batches. What I will do is from time to time offer a "group buy" on certain things that will only be available as part of that group buy.
