  1. There must be a permissions conflict somewhere. I'll look into it.
  2. Congrats! I know all about taking a few steps backward pay-wise to get with a larger stable company. In the end it's totally worth it.
  3. You need to read further.
  4. Post more videos! It can't hurt to make the site work even harder!!!
  5. 1976... crazy. Pretty much everyone in the 70's had some weed on them didn't they? As DaveTN said, get a notarized copy of the disposition and forward it on to the BATFE. This is likely just a small bump along the road, not a complete derailment of your plans.
  6. Back when I was looking at them, the XS sights did not have rear tritium vials. Not sure if they do now.
  7. Does it hold 11 rounds?
  8. So you pulled the trigger on the new shotgun, eh? I can't help but notice the lack of a new thread about it.
  9. Glen is good to go.
  10. Highland Park. 12 year old single malt Scotch. As God intented it.
  11. We could find out...
  12. Well for the record, we really don't prune old threads out of any forums other than the Trading Post. There are very large vBulletin forums with posts into the multiple millions and as long as the servers are optimized to handle it, it's not a problem. Usually they have separated their SQL servers off to their own dedicated hosts at that point.
  13. So? Your post was kind of off topic.
  14. Not to be confused with the elusive Gen 3's without light rails!
  15. Whenever we do upgrades or compact the database, post count is updated to reflect actual number of posts still in the database.
  16. It sounds like you're the only guy I've heard of who essentially wants the stock Glock sights.
  17. It sounds to me that you need to work on the basics of sight alignment and trigger control. It is easy for someone to describe the mechanics of this on the Internet (or in a book) but it's often difficult for a person to read and process it. A person with good mastery of the fundamental mechanics and an instructor's heart will be able to help you get your shots on paper without much problem. Keep in mind that not all competent shooters make good instructors. Some folks can't teach. The basics are simple: 1. Line up your sights 2. Squeeze the trigger (don't pull it) while keeping the sights lined up. Smooth, controlled follow through. It doesn't matter if the target is 10 feet or 100 feet away from you. If you do these two things, the only difficulty in hitting the target is what's going on between your ears.
  18. All things are subjective of course, but seriously the .40SW cartridge really doesn't have that much kick. Take your big-boy pill and get used to it.
  19. Yeah, the hosting company got wise to my server tweaks and has clamped back down on our resource utilization. I've started shopping around for a dedicated host.
  20. I love it when newbies don't read the rules, then bitch when someone calls them on it. Ignorance of the law is no defense. /thread
  21. Still illegal.
  22. Ugly isn't part of the equation here. Dressing like a carnival sideshow attraction is. If you do the latter, you're probably going to end up with an awesome job like being the guy who scrapes the floor at a meat packing plant. Ugly people get good jobs all the time. I'm proof.
  23. That's a pretty narrow-minded statement. What about white collar crimes? I believe that once a person has paid their debt to society, their rights should be reinstated. I guess you believe that once a person makes a mistake, they should be punished for the remainder of their natural life. Pray you never slip up.
  24. As promised, I have checked into this. Gunpal presently does not have an integration module that works with vBulletin but they say they are working on it. I have reason to believe they will carry through on this statement since (a.) they use vBulletin for their own support forum and (b.) many large firearms related sites use vBulletin as the basis of their forums.
