  1. Tennesspeed.net also. Mine.
  2. Yeah. It's up to 4.0.3 now as well. It's very different. The guy who writes the vbDynamics software that we use for our Posted Locations / Gun Shops / Ranges database finally got off of his ass and started re-writing it for vB4. I'm still not sold on the idea of sticking with vBulletin, but this makes it a little more lucrative to stay.
  3. I don't think you were being petty at all. There is an innate desire within each of us as freedom-loving Americans to speak up and express our side of the argument to those who would make patently absurd statements like your co-worker did. However, we sometimes must temper our reactions with an awareness of the dynamics of the situation. Had this exchange occurred off company property and off company time (for both parties) then I personally would have felt more liberty to say exactly what was on my mind. Some people, even in this thread, apparently feel that keeping mum at work is akin to selling out your beliefs. People like that concern me, not only in relation to topics like this but in a lot of other facets of life as well. They look before they leap; they speak without fully thinking through the possible ramifications. Everyone "sells out" a little bit all throughout the day. If you observe the speed limit, you're not living out your desire to drive however fast you want. If you're speeding and you slam on the brakes when you see a cop, you're not carrying through on the idea that you'll do whatever you please, damn the consequences. We all know that with every action, there is a reaction. Sometimes those reactions may mean that you lose your source of income and the ability to provide food and shelter for yourself or your family. In the grand scheme of things, using some intelligence about when to make a big deal out of your personal beliefs on the job is as much a part of your overall tactics for keeping your family taken care of as is the decision to go armed for your protection.
  4. Do you realize how old this thread is?
  5. In today's economy you really need to watch what you say or do on the job. Provoking a fellow employee (what she did) is not a smart move. Engaging an employee in an argument (what you did) isn't either. There are just too many overqualified people looking for jobs out there for an employer to put up with a bunch of crap between his or her employees. It's easier to just ****can them both and hire new. I leave my politics (and my holster) at the door when I clock in. Anyone who wants to be an idiot doesn't get to use me as their stooge because I don't give them the ammo nor do I give them the reaction they're looking for. Just one of those things I've learned over the course of the past 20 years working for the man. Everyone is expendable.
  6. It doesn't really matter what you consider smutty. It matters what I consider smutty.
  7. Because unlike you I don't have time to sort through each and every post made on this forum. If I see it, I address it.
  8. If you're worried about data theft, you need to tighten your security measures. Hardware firewall/router, good antivirus suite with comprehensive antispyware tools, and for the love of God don't ever use Limewire, e-Mule or other similar person-to-person file sharing tools -or- download and install pirated software as many of these things carry trojan payloads that will open countless backdoors on your computer. File encryption and password protection are marginal means of security. Any of them can be bypassed given time. Password-based encryption does you little good if you've inadvertently installed software on your computer that performs key logging.
  9. FYI... I do NOT want to see a lot of smutty pictures in this thread. For that matter, I don't want to see ANY of them. If your wallpaper is any more revealing than what Steelharp posted, don't bother.
  10. This has been fixed.
  11. This has been fixed.
  12. This has been fixed.
  13. (or... Obama Castrates National Defense) FOXNews.com - Obama to Limit Potential Uses of Nuclear Weapons Read and weep.
  14. It's already been reported. Still working on a fix.
  15. Yeah, the Dynamics thing is a known issue. That software is a huge steaming pile.
  16. Absolutely tacky given the enunciation on certain words making them sound like other words with pathetic racist meaning. Thread CLOSED.
  17. This thread is done. Strelcevina, if your only point in being on TGO is to troll the forums for reactions by pushing people's buttons, you won't be here very long.
  18. I'll look into it.
  19. I'm not having any problems.
  20. It's been reported already. Still working on a fix for it in between other projects.
  21. To be clear, I'm a Glock 19 fanboy. It's one of my collection that I won't be letting go of anytime soon. I'm also a 1911 fanboy and an M&P fanboy and an HK45 fanboy. I'm pretty much a gun whore... but at least a discriminating gun whore. LAV is one of those guys who, when they speak, I listen. His resume -- or what little of it is declassified -- speaks volumes for itself. @Warbird - If you try an M&P, invest in an Apex Tactical hardened sear at the very least. Or spend a little more and get Apex Tactical's service pistol package that includes the sear, springs and firing pin block. It's about 30 minutes worth of work to drop it all in, and your M&P will have an excellent trigger afterward.
  22. I love this guy!

If all it takes to run a person off is making them play by the rules, they have no business being here. That's just the way it is.
  24. The KX3 isn't. I don't know of Noveske has a newer model that is, but I kind of doubt it.
