  1. I'd say that is a safe guess.
  2. Interesting. I may have to go hold one of these after the rush to be first is over and see if it feels any better to me than the Gen 3.
  3. THIS... I can add. I'll do it this evening or tomorrow. I just need to find the code.

    Off-Road 4x4

I had a Grand Cherokee for several years. I both loved and hated that truck. The 4.0L inline six is quite possibly one of the smoothest, torque-iest six cylinders that I've ever owned. The internal balance on that engine is perfect. It also is the reason I hated the truck, because no matter how much the rest of it was falling apart, that engine just wouldn't die and give me the ultimate reason I needed to part ways with it. The latest incarnation of the JGC really looks like Jeep is trying to return to producing a sport ute with amenities as well as some capabilities off road. It'd be nice to see the JGC become a little less "Mall Rated" if you know what I mean. Strec, my latest TOY is a 2010 Toyota FJ Crusier Trail Teams that I'm presently in the motions of installing a 3" suspension lift and various pieces of trail armor on. If you ask the solid front-axle crowd, they'll try to tell you it's not a real offroad vehicle either. A man of your various social leanings and heritage should ditch that Exploder and go with something like this instead. Edited to add.... Screw that. I want one now.

Sorry dude... that's not an offroad vehicle.
  6. No, not really. Unless you're saying it says something about the fact that some people will draw conclusions based off of the damndest things.
  7. Delete your browser cookies and try it again. This is not normal but it is specific to something on your computer.
  8. Trigem, I appreciate your zeal. However just as not many of our members go to their respective churches to talk about guns, not many of them come here to talk about religion either. It's amazing enough that we [mostly] get along here talking about political issues. While I'm certain that many of us here are indeed Christians, I am not so certain discussion will remain even-keeled if people start engaging in dissection of one another's doctrinal beliefs. Thanks.
  9. Not that I am aware of. Sorry.
  10. General range etiquette is to call "CLEAR" and ensure that everyone has (a.) heard you, (b.) stopped shooting and (c.) secured their firearms and stepped away from them before you make your way down range. Typically they will join in setting up new targets at the same time. I've shot at unsupervised ranges before and generally will leave if there are idiots present who refuse to abide by "big boy rules" and share the range. I have had only one instance where some asshat popped off a round while I was down range, at which point I screamed "CLEAR!" again, returned to the bench and informed the gentleman that if he did so again, I would presume that he was trying to do me harm and return fire.
  11. It's Charlie Haffner, not Haufman. http://www.ridethatbike.com/chmr/chmr.htm
  12. Folks, stop the stone throwing or this thread is going to get bent over and closed. Oh look... I just merged my stereotypes.

    CHAT ROOM

On a similar note... I have been looking at a chat module that mimics Facebook's where you can talk with people in your buddies list. And then I started seeing reviews of it elsewhere and the forum admins were saying it was axe-murdering the performance of their servers.
  14. You can but it's not likely to hold much water if the contract is ever contested.
  15. I was toying with ideas of how I could build a fixture to hold the frame and then chuck a machine bit into a drill press and slowly feed the magwell into it sideways to cut the notch. Your way sounds much simpler.
  16. I'm digging the magwell cutouts. I have thought about doing this so many times, but never had the guts to try it. What did you use to cut them?
  17. Well... if you've read the Book and you believe it, there's no chance that society is going to turn it around. We may slow down the pace, but we're only able to change individual outcomes... not the overall outcome.
  18. This is nothing new. The world has been going to hell since Adam fell for Eve's perky apple.
  19. I must admit it's been pretty nice. It's also going to make going back to work tomorrow even harder. Sitting here watching the grill warm up for one last round of holiday-weekend grilling and catching up on my TGO-time. Hope you all had a good weekend.
  20. Go kick some ass, seabass! (oh yeah and be safe too... but seriously, do some ass kicking while you're there. )
  21. You intentionally zoomed to get a picture of that photo journalist's butt didn't you?
  22. Congrats. Thousands of pictures have been posted on TGO. Not sure why you're having problems. Upload them to Photobucket and then link them.
  23. Sub 4" bbl 1911s typically don't run worth a ****. If you're wanting a toy, get a sub-compact 1911. If you're wanting an implement that you can count on to save your life some day, go with the Glock 36. And this from someone who is a fan of 1911s.
