  1. So the question begs to be asked... After all of the noise made about contacting your Representatives and demanding that they not nominate Harwell, it appears that all was for naught. One can only conclude that either (a.) not enough pressure was put on the Reps or (b.) they just DGAF what their constituents want. Government of the people by the elite.
  2. Hmmm. So maybe I could add a little "fun" to the patch too. Like a certain slogan from a certain movie about a certain Marine sniper...
  3. Another idea... perhaps I can get some "morale patches" made up with this design also. Velcro backed for ease of use.
  4. Just to be clear... the hats won't happen as quickly as the decals. I'd expect hats sometime in early 2011.
  5. Probably won't do the state outline logo just now. I want to try something simple like this first, but if it takes off I'll consider the full logo.
  6. Cool... I'll check into this stuff then. Keep in mind that we may be a bit delayed with the holidays but still, I'll try to get something moving pretty quickly.
  7. I'm thinking about having some hats made up as well. They'd just have that in the center on the front and the URL on the back over the hat strap. I'm going for the minimalist look. Lemme see what I can find out from the sticker dude. I'm not looking to make any money off of these... I just think it'd be cool to have something subtle on the truck that would let folks who know what it means know that we're a fellow TGO'er.
  8. Pre-Order Now Open!!! These will be 3-inch diameter decals in full color with a UV resistant coating, perfect for slapping on your vehicle glass, tool box, hard hat, boat, bike, plane, gun safe, etc. to identify "people who know" that you are a fellow TGO member. Decals will be ordered as soon as we have sold 250 of them and will ship as soon as they arrive back in my hands. I'm hoping to get these in the mail to folks by the middle of December. To pre-order, use the button at the bottom of this post. All orders must be processed through Paypal. If you do not use or like Paypal, I'm sorry but this is the only option at present. Mockup of decal. The tan backround is just for display purposes. The decals will be circle and will have the white border... Actual Decal... Orders have been processed. We'll do this again soon! Thanks!
  9. Sorry. I should have put it back when I was done with it.
  10. Ooo... Slinky!
  11. I'm still waiting for you to make me laugh.
  12. This looks really promising... Remnants: Trailer 2
  13. Honestly the whole use of the term Homeland is what creeped me out the most in the beginning and painted a picture of what was to come. Seems awfully similar to Fatherland, Motherland, Mother Russia... etc. Not a fan of it. Wasn't then, am not now.
  14. You're right that the RSOs over there get some flak. You're also right that a lot of stupid happens on that range because of the neophytes who attend without any sort of mentor present. Both of these are reasons why that range is at the absolute bottom of my list of places to go shoot. I don't like range nazis and I don't like people who have no intelligence when it comes to handling firearms.
  15. They usually tip well.
  16. Very true. I'm going to admit that the BG 380 is on my short list of firearms that I'm intrigued enough in to consider purchasing. I'm just going to wait a few months and let the initial shakedowns sort out the bugs. S&W had them with the M&P series... they're going to have them with this too.

Not gonna lie... it hurts. I forced myself to do two full cylinders with them. My thumb was sore for days.
  18. The BG 380 that I handled didn't present any problems on the laser activation button, but I admit that it is in a really stupid place for a pocket gun. Someone at S&W or CT just wasn't thinking very clearly when they designed that. The rest of the ergonomics are really, really good on the gun however. And I'm guessing an industrious person could probably remove the external safety if they so desired and have a really simple firearm as a result.

You should try my M&P340 sometime with full-house .357Mag rounds. Those +P .38's will feel like bunny farts.
  20. No grief here. I'm having my morning coffee... life is good.
  21. No where is perfectly safe. The idea of a mythical doctor's office where no bad things could happen is absurd. The idea is to find a doctor's office where carry isn't prohibited... or to just exercise civil disobedience. Which I would never advocate, of course.
  22. First of all, you need to read the rules. Two wrongs don't make a right, but what you did was incite mob reaction against another member of the forum. It doesn't matter that Daniel is a moderator; he is still one of your fellow TGO members. I've clearly stated that anarchy will NOT be tolerated. TGO is not a democracy, the same way that the Marine Corps is not a democracy. If you feel that a superior officer is in the wrong in the Corps, it would be completely insubordinate to start a poll among your peers asking if they think the guy is wrong and what should be done about it. There is a chain of command that must be followed in order to ensure that some sense of decorum is kept. Am I right? As for everyone else... Frankly the components of the way this discussion has unfolded are a little difficult to make a blanket ruling on. It would be nice if all of you could be adults and play nicely with each other even when you disagree. So do I think that a secondary discussion should have been started and then locked so that no one else could reply? Not really. But do I see why it was done? Yes. I guess the problem here is that some of you feel that there was an imbalance of power since none of you can start a thread, state your opinion and then lock the thread so that no one can argue against it. It's sad that anyone feels they have to do that in order to get their point across without someone else [not naming names but you know who you are] coming in behind them and mucking it all up. So I see a lot of things wrong here. For the sake of being fair, I'm electing to not do anything about any of it. The entire thing is a bit of a cluster-fk so you guys can sort it all out, shake hands and be men about the whole thing. It might help some if you all would try to see where each other is coming from on some of these issues and stop being so purely reactive to what's being said and focus on what was intended. But... this is the Internet and that never happens. Monkeys will likely fly out of my ass before people stop arguing on forums. Enjoy.
  23. I see everything on that page.
  24. Check with Predator Custom.
  25. One of my very few gripes about the FJ Cruiser. The seats don't fold flat enough.
