  1. I'd need to see what link you're trying to post.
  2. About two and a half blocks.
  3. Where are you hosting the video?
  4. OK, I made some changes to make this a little easier on folks who are accustomed to uploading photos straight from their iPhones to platforms like Facebook, Instagram, etc. I set the maximum upload size to 8MB. This means that a person should be able to upload all but the most massive photos. I then set the forum to resize those photos to a maximum of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The forum does that and discards the original photo if it was larger. Let me provide an example: The original size of the photo above, on my iPhone 12 Pro, was 4032 x 3024 pixels and 5MB in size. When I uploaded this photo as an attachment, the forum software downsized it to 1600 x 1200 pixels and around 400KB in size and discarded the original file. These changes that I just made should help you guys post photos without a lot of gymnastics being required but will also help conserve the amount of file storage that we make available to you. Hope this helps.
  5. Someone is going to end up with a heck of a good gun because of this one.
  6. You are the only person I know who actually has a Laugo Alien. That is a really unique piece to own!
  7. Thanks for the kind words. Email is one of those things that has vexed us for a while now. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  8. It should send out a reminder. And we've been having really good success with email going out lately. I made some changes there earlier this week and they've proven successful.
  9. Alright, here is how it will work now: You cannot renew the ahead of your expiration, but it gives you 7-days as a grace period afterward during which time you can renew. During that period, you remain a Benefctor. If that period elapses and you haven't renewed, it cancels the subscription and you would just purchase a new one.
  10. Thanks for pointing this out. I had configured a setting improperly, so I am fixing that now. I'll respond back in a few minutes after I see what the result is.
  11. I have used @sigbrown1297 quite a few times and it's always a pleasure working with him. He does Class III stuff as well.
  12. OPSEC. I'll only own up to two of them at a time on a public forum.
  13. Yeah. Getting into knives did NOT save me money by not buying as many guns. It just gave me two expensive hobbies.
  14. OUCH! Hope you heal quickly! Automatic and assisted side-openers have always worried me a bit, especially if they don't have a safety of some sort. I have carried several of my knives "tip down" just so that I didn't have to worry about the blade opening -- even partially -- inside of my pocket and causing me to slice myself open as I reached in for something else. One of my favorite knives right now is a Guardian Tactical "RECON-035" out the front automatic. It doesn't have a safety but the thumb switch takes a deliberate push. I am still not convinced that it couldn't suffer an ND because of motion from my pants material, etc.
  15. I mean… pretty much the whole world has moved past the notion that .45ACP is somehow vastly superior to 9mm, but OK
  16. Today: My Glock 19 and my Spyderco Manix 2 (FDE scales with M390 steel).
  17. I bought a KME sharpening system 2-3 years ago and have used it countless times since. Sharpening consists of healthy percentages of science and technique (read: artform), neither of which can be ignored unless you want to scrap a bunch of knives. If I were starting over at this very moment, I'd probably look at one of the smaller systems from TSProf. Even though they are a Russian company and we are supposed to hate Russia right now, the guys who run it are likely as innocent of anything their government is doing as any of us are innocent of what ours does. I wouldn't be dissuaded from buying one of their kits. https://tsprof.us Look at the Kadet and Blitz product lines. I'm shopping for a TSProf KM03 but just haven't thrown my money at it yet. Maybe soon. As much as I love my KME, I think the TSProf KM03 is even better. But... $$$.
  18. These are awesome fun. I often wish I didn't sell the one I had. I know that the guy who bought it is glad that I sold it.
  19. Well, I've got the first three covered. I need to find a hiding spot in the woods. She finds me whenever I'm hiding in the garage.
  20. First and foremost, welcome and thank you for taking the plunge and becoming a Benefactor straight out of the gate. We really appreciate that you supported the site like this. Second, let me know if you have any tricks for avoiding the wife's honey do list.
  21. Oh, those were my reactions. They weren't actually seen on screen.
  22. This error? Yeah. It was a new one for me too.
  23. No, we're not solely for Tennesseans but it did raise an eyebrow as I was reading. All are welcome here as long as everyone's intentions are good.
  24. I am hesitant to ask, but why would a person from California be asking about the value of a rifle on a forum for folks in Tennessee? Your IP address even tracks back to California, so... the story is?
