  1. I've got my certified tough guy card. You sold it to me. What... was it a sham?
  2. Registering under multiple accounts to continue spamming our members is not only bad form, but it's kind of dumb. Good bye.
  3. Meh... I'm a tough guy in real life and I still think that the OP is a tool.
  4. You seem like the ideal candidate to scour the forum for all of the things we miss and tell us when you find something like this that qualifies.
  5. If you get his permission to repost it here, that will take care of all problems. Thanks.
  6. We now have a similar warning here. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tn-gun-owners-announcements/58333-notice-do-not-re-post-photos-written-content-you-do-not-own.html#post741732 And yes, it totally sucks.
  7. User:MikeMaughan/Lazlo Zalezac - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia That is the original author of what you copied and pasted. Since those are his copyrighted works, you should have at least given credit ... and more appropriately you should have obtained permission to reproduce his works here, and then given credit. This thread is closed. Watch that crap in the future; it can get TGO in a lot of trouble.
  8. This goes without saying, but please be sure to check and double-check the legality of carrying wherever it's held. Especially if it's on municipal property.
  9. LLB's quality has diminished quite a bit over the years. Most of their stuff is now made overseas and their so-called ballistic nylon luggage is no more rugged than what you can get from Timbuktu, North Face, etc.
  10. I tried it once on an old Remington 870 shotgun. I wasn't very impressed with the durability of it.
  11. You will have to make an attempt to come to the next organized TGO shoot in the Nashville / middle TN area.
  12. Morton's isn't near Green Hills though. It's in the middle of downtown Nashville.
  13. THAT is much cooler than a machine gun.
  14. I think part of the reason why there haven't been any replies yet is because the parameters are kind of wide open, except for your exclusion of the club scene. I wouldn't know where to start there anyway. As for Green Hills, it is fairly centrally located in the greater Nashville metropolitan area and an easy 10-15 minute drive (with traffic) from downtown Nashville proper. I wouldn't necessarily look for a hotel in Green Hills proper but probably one in downtown if you're wanting to be near the unique restaurants and want to stay someplace interesting. What sort of food / activities are you looking for, other than the tobacco shop?
  15. If you have problems racking the slide on a semi-automatic, I would recommend that you consider a small revolver of some sort. Smith & Wesson J-Frame chambered in .38spl would be sufficient. While a full-house .38spl load can have a little pop to it in a short barrel handgun, you can find lighter power loads that remedy some of that -- if it is a problem.
  16. Never threw that day out there. It's a good possibility, but let's not go mentioning dates until I have it shored up.
  17. Ads in the Classifieds should only be posted for items for sale by the person posting them.

    Why Glock?

There have been countless threads about this and most of them, like this one, were also started to troll for a reaction. Do a search.
  19. So... why did you buy one of them if you'd heard all of these bad things?
  20. I've been busy with other things. I hope to get out to Owl Hollow this weekend and talk with Charlie.
  21. It's not uncommon for a particular make/model handgun to refuse to feed certain types of ammo. The point of the break in period is not just to "break in" the handgun but also to figure out what ammo your gun feeds reliably. You seem to be over-reacting.
  22. My stainles P220 Carry SAO would rust on the slide as well.
  23. I'm sure you could buy quite a bit of beer and drink it out of the bottle, but it wouldn't be near as cool as drinking it out of a Battle Mug.
