It's one thing that he watches the forum and knows what folks here really think of him. It's another type of "awesome" entirely that we've got sycophantic members who feel the need to scurry back to their digitally-deficient mentor and tattle like school children. That koolaid must really be strong. Let's be mature adults here for a second and ponder this for a moment: Does that look right to anyone here? Seriously? Does that look like something you should ever do, no matter whether you have checked the gun in that student's hand a million times before giving it to them? That REALLY looks like a valid instructional method to anyone present? My personal opinion is that it is nothing more than showmanship meant to inspire a sense of "Whoa... what a bad ass!" in the students. I can't think of a single instructor that I've taken classes with who would ever... ever... EVER do something as silly and downright dangerous as this, let alone demand that their students participate. What's next? Standing downrange with an apple on his head? That's just absurd and, again just my personal opinion here, he should have his instructor's license pulled for that sort of negligent behavior. It's just wrong on so many levels and it subjects the student(s) to the possibility of mental/emotional/psychological trauma on a level that that you can't possibly exaggerate should something go wrong. I'm personally giddy with anticipation over the idea that sooner or later he's going to use the experience of blowing his finger off as anecdotal proof that people should only buy revolvers. He's pretty outspoken against automatics anyway, as anyone who has been in one of his classes or has sat in a TFA meeting at his facility can attest. Oh, and I don't live in Murfreesboro. Just sayin'.

It's pretty obvious to me that the UAE started producing these not to gain export sales to the USA and other consumer markets, but so that they wouldn't have to keep sending their money to the USA and other producer markets. There's nothing wrong with that, particularly, but it'd be nice if the US Government started exhibiting some of that same territorial preference when it decided to buy weapons.

Bah. Some people will always accuse someone or something else of causing the error rather than manning up and taking blame for their own mistakes. Just because a certain firearm design MIGHT permit firing out of battery, it doesn't remove human fault from the equation. They just don't go off on their own.

Actually Bio-Diesel cuts crud even better than regular Diesel. I would run it every so often in my F250 just to clean the injectors a little.

Of course, that would be something of a self-correcting problem too.

Diesel fuel is by far one of the most versatile and non problematic substances I've used to clean particularly dirty weapons.

Thanks for sharing, though. Complaining that you're not getting something for free that other people see the value in and are willing to support doesn't make you seem like an entitled douche at all.
