  1. There can be only one! {/highlander}
  2. This thread needs more Glock pictures.
  3. So... you kinda like... leave your doors unlocked and hope someone breaks in, eh?
  4. That's a little premature, don't you think?
  5. TDOT took care of it with a giant tube sock.
  6. Claymore mines positioned in the hallway. Clacker on both my nightstand and the wife's. Squeegie hanging in the broom closet.
  7. I tell people all the time that I hate computers and they don't believe me.
  8. Welcome Scott!
  9. I think you're already getting into it. So go on... educate us.
  10. Kinetic energy > Mass
  11. Welcome! Colorful like a bunch of clowns.
  12. I'd just build them out of MDF.
  13. I spotted this Hardcore Pawn show one night while flipping through channels. I didn't bother watching for long but most of the shows on TruTV are "re-enactments" using actors and embellished scripts, per the disclaimer in the small text of the credits. I'd suspect it's the same with this show.
  14. Welcome, Andrew. Information about advertising (Supporting Vendor) can be found here... General Information
  15. Born and raised in western Kentucky. Moved to TN in the mid 90's. Welcome!
  16. I definitely did not mean to imply that this would not be a worthwhile endeavor. The Nat Guard shooting range is a nice facility and the concepts they will teach should be solid. Real long range shooting is a different animal, though, with additional complexities and variables thrown in: Temperature, wind, affect of convection (mirages) on shooting, etc. It's pretty fascinating stuff.
  17. I assumed they were using the National Guard range and was correct. There won't be any 1/4 mile shooting there, although they can at least teach you the basics.
  18. Where in the world are they doing a quarter mile shoot in Smyrna?? (I guess I could go read the link... heading there now...)
  19. I'm trying to talk myself into doing the ADD Stealth bumper and Rigid LED bar for trail use. I just don't really know if I really want that much metal hanging off the front of another truck.
  20. That's crazy talk.
  21. The Raptor wasn't designed as a luxo-barge. Read on... I doubt the 2012 model will come with them either stock or as an option but it's possible I'll be proven wrong. The few SUVs that come with them also have a self-leveling system for the rear suspension to keep the nose of the vehicle at a consistent angle in relation to the road. When you load down a pickup truck, you change the elevation of the headlights. With HID beams this means you go from scorching the pavement to scorching someone's retinas. This is why Ford didn't do HID headlights on the Raptor, and why they probably won't in 2012 either. If they go with some sort of self-leveling headlight design then I can see it being possible... but I doubt THAT since it would probably give the driver seizures with constant minute adjustments in an off-road setting. I'd probably throw up all over the interior if I had to ride in a truck that had constantly adjusting headlight beams. I understand putting HIDs on a truck that will see 99.9% pavement use but I'm curious: Why not just augment your existing lights with something like the Rigid dual-driving LED light setup that goes in the stock bumper's wings?
