  1. Welcome, D@n!
  2. Good catch! iTrader scores require the feedback be left inside iTrader; not posted within the forum. I've got a bot running right now that will respond to recent Feedback Forum posts and remind folks to use iTrader instead.
  3. I am not 100% sure but I think feedback scores are updated on a schedule kept by the software. It may not be automatic. I'll have to check into it.
  4. I have the Apex kit in my M&P 45. I will have to check this when I get home and report back.
  5. Your web browser likely has an old cookie or cookies cached for the site. Clear your browser cache, cookie cache and make sure you toggle the checkbox to have the forum remember your login.
  6. I run a Streamlight TLR-1 on my bedside gun, my home defense shotgun and my short barrel carbine.
  7. I appreciate that, but the way my schedule has been for the past few months I am doing good to remember to change socks. I wouldn't want to be responsible for trying to remember to return anyone else's property to them.
  8. Welcome to TGO.
  9. All this talk of the 0350 has got me wanting to pick one up sometime soon. Both of my SOG knives are rapidly falling apart, and I'd like something a little more rugged. This looks like an affordable option.
  10. I'll see what I can do. I miss those icons as well.
  11. Just a gentle reminder as we approach the 2011 Holidays (Thanksgiving / Christmas) season to remain vigilant, keep your head on a swivel, and stay armed where legally permitted while you're out and about doing your holiday shopping. It's no secret that our economy remains in the toilet and likewise no secret that "crimes of opportunity" increase as folks start feeling the pinch of bad times, no money and a sense of pressure to provide material things to themselves or their families. Please stay mindful of what's going on around you and ensure that you do not make yourself an easy target for a robbery, or worse, by failing to pay attention to your environment or failing to use common sense about how you conduct your business.
  12. I've increased the limit to 30 new transactions per day, per member, for the time being.
  13. It's not necessarily that that mag capacity is 10rds. I often load my handguns to 10rds at the range for plinking because ammo comes boxed 5 across in most trays. I'll grab two rows worth on my hand, load a mag, shoot, repeat.
  14. Contrary to any belief that there are nice places in Illinois, it is my personal experience that there are none. The best part of Illinois is leaving it.
  15. Go ahead and take the plunge. It's not like you've exactly been a private individual here on TGO, after all. That horse isn't just out of the barn; he's in Cancun doing lines of blow off the backs of dead hookers by now.
  16. Apparently this member was a previously banned troll. Looks like the moderators sniped him pretty quickly.
  17. That article reads like a story-line from Justified. Wow.
  18. The same can be said for most of us here. Kirk's welcome to voice his opinion as much as anyone else is. We just ask that folks do it respectfully and attack the issues, not each other.
  19. There's no need for this to turn into a pile-up with a bunch of comments being made that are irrelevant to the original post. Supporting vendor or not. I'd suggest that the OP contact Butch, the manager at The Outpost, and ask again. If they decline, it's not unreasonable to ask for an explanation nor is it unreasonable for them to refuse to give one. How they choose to allow their property to be used is their prerogative, and for some businesses sometimes it simply boils down to maintaining brand identity within the establishment. Not saying this is the case here, but I do know that they work very hard to present a certain caliber of "image" all the way down to their business cards. They may simply not want playbills hanging all over the place. Just call and ask. It never hurts. The person your wife spoke with may not have been a decision maker and just gave a party line. Closing thread.
  20. Most firearms retailers, including those you find at gun shows, are pricing their bread and butter firearms (Glocks, M&Ps, etc.) with minimal markup in order to stay competitive with each other and with the online retailers such as Bud's. The days of haggling for a deal are almost over and rightfully so. Those guys have to make money to put food on the tables and keep their lights on.
  21. Agreed. I'd also wager that the vast majority of cyclists own at least one car, many probably have more than that. They pay their wheel taxes, just not on their bicycles. Should pedestrians be forced to get walking permits and pay a "shoe tax" before they are allowed to walk down city streets?
  22. DaveTN - check your PM's and tone it down.
  23. All this talk about "rights" and how they pertain to the roadways just makes me shake my head in disbelief. Roadways are city/state/federal property depending on where we're talking about. Citizens are afforded the privilege of being able to use roadways provided they observe certain laws and, in some cases, restrictions on what types of vehicles may be operated upon them and how. Speed limits are proof of this. Bicycles and such being restricted from Interstate highways are proof of this. Nowhere in the books does it say that a motorist on a secondary road is guaranteed the convenience of a higher rate of speed without impediment by a cyclist also on the road. However that cyclist does have certain legal protection against being crowded by a motor vehicle and legal protection against being assaulted by a motorist who is too impatient to slow down and give them the minimum 3-ft berth when passing. If you encounter a cyclist while in a no-passing zone, you can either suck it up and drive patiently behind them, or you can wait and pass [illegally perhaps] when it is safe to do so and assume all risks associated with that act, or you can just not drive your car since you're too much of a self-important dick to share the road with everyone else on it. Seriously, folks... the choices are pretty simple.
  24. Agreed! I'll be stopping by the store tomorrow to find a bottle of this. Thanks for stopping in to speak with us, Wes!
  25. Brake checking a law enforcement officer... brilliant tactic.
