  1. Guys, you need to stop for a moment and think about what you're saying and consider where a web site (like TGO) ends and your computer and its software begins. Copy and paste? That's your computer. Not the web site.
  2. Lacquer Stick. This was all the rage a few years ago on the HK forum.
  3. You do realize that 250 x 167 is twice as large as the forum expects you to use for an avatar, right? The fact that it took that and resized it should be met with great joy. For what it's worth, the size limitation is actually based on KB and not so much on dimension. As long as your file is within the KB limit, the forum will resize it like it did for you.
  4. Redbreast Irish Whiskey, single pot, 12 years old. Simply amazing. Warms you up from the inside out on a nice winter's day. http://godsaveirelan...-irish-whiskey/
  5. I'm sure someone thought that way about the horse and buggy too.
  6. Yep... excellent group of folks here. Welcome to TGO.
  7. Something is amiss there. I'll check into it for you.
  8. Heh... I'm not sure about liking it more, but it definitely drives me to want to shoot at things more.
  9. Yep. http://nashvillecitypaper.com/content/city-news/dean-considers-movement-clamp-down-%E2%80%98gun-show-loophole%E2%80%99 For those who are curious. Just read the article. Search that page for Uselton if you're in a hurry.
  10. ... Nope. Got nothin'
  11. Trying to think of something nice to say...
  12. The new software doesn't include the ability to provide canned avatars the way we did in the past. I think the general assumption that the software's authors take is that if you're online and participating in a forum, you probably have an avatar or two that you normally use. Sorry.
  13. My bad. For whatever reason, the option was toggled off for the Benefactors member group. Fixed.
  14. Inside each post. It's kind of ghosted out but it lights up when you hover over it. Down next to the Multi-Quote / Quote buttons.
  15. This thread has made me decide to go hunt one of these down and examine it closer. I'm a sucker for compact, high capacity 9mm handguns. I'm just not crazy about further padding the wallets of the Emirates any more than I already do with my gasoline addiction.
  16. Top of the screen, right hand side, click your name. Click "My Content" from the resulting window.
  17. That was actually a feature brought in by the VBSEO add-on for vBulletin. Unless I find something comparable, it won't be back. Sorry.
  18. Does it work? Absolutely. I have one and it works exactly as they describe. Is it worth the money? That's a personal question. I think so, but obviously others here disagree. Can't say I agree with them though. Definitely can't agree that it seems cheap or worthless either. But my experience consists of using it, not looking at one at a gun show.
  19. Spell check was not a feature of vBulletin and is not a feature of IPB. What OhShoot said is correct; it is built in to your web browser. The software change didn't and couldn't have affected that.
  20. Yep... I merged the two accounts together. Want me to rename it just "lostpass" now?
  21. Actually there's already a huge thread about it in this forum. http://www.tngunowne...valentines-day/
  22. Yes, it's the link to the thread. If you're trying to leave feedback for something that was done before we changed software, please don't. See the announcements forum.
  23. I pocket carry a Kahr PM9 more than I carry most anything else these days, largely due to situational requirements. Great gun.
  24. I don't think anyone paid attention to my posts where I said that I'd be importing those back into this software as soon as the author gives us a converter. I say this based on the fact that there are a lot of ratings now for deals that happened weeks ago. At this point I'm either going to turn off the Trader ratings system and clear out all of the data so that it doesn't end up a jumbled mess, or I'm going to just forget about importing that data and let folks keep doing what they're doing.
