Thanks for stopping in to reply to this!

I'm working on that.
-
Disregard previous. You were ahead of the game.
-
I'm not seeing it in PayPal under your current email address of record here. Can you PM me the PayPal transaction ID please? Thanks.
-
Let me check into it for you. Your account got moved to the wrong group yesterday when I was doing some work and it may have messed up your Benefactor status.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT... PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW: Before posting announcements about upcoming classes or training, it is imperative that you use the following format or include the following information as bullet-point items at the head of your post. Any post that does not include this information may be deleted without warning by the Moderating team. Include the following at the top of your post: Name of Training Program or Course Name of Organization or Entity conducting the training Name of Instructor (if known) Cost of Training Your affiliation with the Org, Entity, Trainer or Event That last item is crucial and so is your honesty. If you are affiliated in any way beyond being a student or having merely stumbled across the training class in question and felt the desire to share it on TGO, state so clearly. Full disclosure is imperative. WHY? Because full disclosure is very important and because we have Vendor sponsors on this forum who have paid for the right to advertise their classes. We do not want to stifle the flow of information regarding good training, but we also cannot have people abusing our good graces by trying to fly under the radar and advertise for free. It's not fair to our Vendors and it amounts to stealing from TGO at a very basic level. If you are a student, feel free to share any information about upcoming classes that you might be attending. There are likely others who would be interested in attending as well. ***** If it is found that you intentionally withheld, misrepresented or otherwise hid your affiliation with the organization, entity, trainer or event being promoted, your post will be deleted, your account will be banned from the forum and the entity conducting the training might permanently be blacklisted from TGO as a result of your indiscretion! ***** Again, we do not want to stifle the flow of good information on this forum however we cannot and will not tolerate anyone trying to circumvent the Vendor program. Please help us by being honest. Thanks!

You don't appear to have a current Benefactor membership. That's what is keeping you from posting a new ad. As for the WTB section, yes... there's currently not a good way for us to implement that inside the Classifieds. It hasn't been decided yet whether we will continue to allow non-Benefactor members to even post WTB ads as it has constantly presented problems when people abuse the ability to do that by trying to sneak in items for sale or trade.

I'm about to make it worse on you guys who were asking for RSS feeds to stay on top of things...
-
Yes... it worked and you're good to go. As for all of the other queries about this, I think you guys will find that the new system is working much better. Let me know if you have any problems!
-
Exciting. Hopefully they will become a Vendor here on TGO. It almost sounds like you have an inside track, so be sure to pass that along to them.

I kinda figured you'd just suck it out of there. Giggity.
-
Doesn't look like you still are, though.

I think I'll open a gun shop some day and call it GunMax. No haggling. You come in and haggle, and I'll post a picture on this forum of you walking out the door empty handed.
-
I agree it was 100% judgmental and I meant it that way. This problem is past the point of candy coating to save a few delicate feelings, you know? A lot of us gun owners are politically conservative and like to complain about how the Lefties are a bunch of entitlement jockeys. Well, pay attention to threads on gun forums and behavior at the sales counters in gun shops for a while and you'll start to see that gun owners can be just as bad as consumers when it comes to feeling like we're owed a bottom dollar price on whatever shiny object has our full attention at the moment. We may not support sucking at the government tit for handouts, but we sure as hell don't seem to want a gun shop to stay in business if it means they have to charge us a markup. I can't think of any other retail industry where it is so common to go in and haggle for price, car lots excluded. If I go to Best Buy, my only chance of buying a television cheaper than what they have it marked on the shelf is if they are willing to price match a competitor. I can't just waltz in there and announce that I'll give them 20% less than the asking price on a new high-end LCD TV. If I did, they'd tell me to come back when I had more money. Anyway, yeah... this little rant has been brewing under the surface for a while.

Hah... I don't get it. You guys SERIOUSLY kill me sometimes. Marketing is Good Business 101. If you want to stay in business and want to grow beyond being a small piddly pawn-shop-esque gun shop, you advertise. These guys are doing it right and have never shied away from spending a little money in order to bolster the company image, evangelize the product, and sell more guns, ammo and gear. They are obviously doing something right because they are like the few other gun shops on here who are vendors in that they are GROWING and adding more stuff for you guys to buy every day. So they have a flashy commercial and someone jumps to the conclusion that's why they price a Ruger LCP at a certain price-point. Ooooh, how dare they make a profit. How dare they have a profit margin. How dare they make money, to pay their bills, to pay their employees, to continue expanding, to continue serving a bunch of ungrateful Monday morning quarterbacks who like to bitch about their capitalist ways on the Internet. You know, I'm quickly forming the opinion that the reason so many gun shops go out of business or never quite take off is because the majority of their customers are cheap jerks who don't want to see them make the necessary profits required to stay in business. Just saying. And as for the complaint about the SP101 not working and them not taking it back, not many gun shops do and it's purely at their discretion if they so desire. For YEARS it was the norm for damn near any gun shop to require you to send a defective unit back to the manufacturer for repair. Some shops will graciously exchange your firearm. Some impose certain restrictions. None of them are required to let you return it. Sunday morning rant, I guess. I'm just really sick and tired of seeing gun owners be their own worst enemies when it comes to running gun shops out of business for failing to operate in the negative as a Second Amendment charity.

I don't think it's reasonable to expect people to search every single time they go to make a new post. Do you?
-
So you're saying you like gay man butt as long as it's not overly tanned?

Welcome, Marine! Thanks for your service.

Catching up on my thread reading today. Love the rifle build!

Welcome to TGO!

I've shot them and really didn't care for them, to be honest. The dimensions just seemed all ... wrong. Give me an AR variant any day.

Lose the AR style collapsible butt stock and I could almost grow to like the ugliness of it.
