  1. Looking into it. Off the cuff it looks like everything is set right; not sure really what the problem is here but give me a day or two to sort it out.
  2. I'll send you an email shortly. Thanks.
  3. Yep... sorry. Knew this wasn't going to be a popular move with everyone but it is what it is.
  4. If you refresh the browser session the loading screens will go away. They happen on the iOS devices more frequently than Android, if on Android at all. It's a weird result of how Apple parses DHTML.
  5. The lack of seller name has already been reported as a feature request by another IPB customer. I've lodged a request for the contact tab.
  6. It's always acted that way for me. Maybe you're just now noticing it?
  7. Well, I learned something new.
  8. What he said.
  9. No, there is no way to do that.
  10. Until the Classifieds software is overhauled such to allow us to grant permissions to certain user groups in certain Classifieds categories, you won't be able to do that in the Classifieds section. I will re-open the forum for it.
  11. Interesting. I'll make some adjustments to the software.
  12. Vendor Status sort of trumps Benefactor status and gives you all the same privileges. While I certainly appreciate the support, you guys are already supporting the site in a different way and I think the members all recognize that and appreciate it.
  13. Folks, there has been minor confusion about this recently and I want make a public statement about our policy regarding training classes offered by Police Departments or EMS / Fire Departments: So long as the tuition fees are going directly to the public agency conducting the class and not to an individual instructor, there is no need for the public agency to be a Vendor on TGO in order to announce their class. However, if an individual or commercial entity is using the public agency's facilities to conduct a class and that individual or commercial entity is the recipient of the tuition fees, then that person or entity must be a TGO Vendor in order to advertise their class. Some examples of things that would be permissible under our policy: First aid class conducted by a Fire Department or EMS agency Handgun Permit class conducted by a Police Department Self Defense class conducted by a Police Department An example of a class that would not fall under this policy: High Risk Civilian Contractor class conducted by Blackwater, presented by the East Dirtfloor TN Police Department Obviously there may be times when the lines are blurred between a class being conducted by vs. being presented by a public agency. In those cases, an on the field ruling may be required and the decision of the TGO staff will be final. Thanks.
  14. Do want. I'll pick up one of these as soon as they are available.
  15. The odd thing is that this only seemed to affect a handful of people who had (a.) at some point been marked as a Vendor and (b.) had a current Benefactor status. We caught 99% of the mistakes and fixed them, but at some point TripleDigitRide's account had erroneously been made a Vendor, subsequently fixed, and then it got caught in this snafu the other night. Glad it's sorted out now.
  16. Last week we picked up a bottle of Noah's Mill Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey [link] and have been enjoying it tremendously. Tonight we picked up a bottle of Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey [link] and we're enjoying it equally as much.
  17. You're absolutely welcome. Sorry it got screwed up. Thanks for the support!
  18. Oh, I already looked at his user activity in the admin area.
  19. No, but they shouldn't be necessary with this system either. The reason why so many valid threads got pushed down the list when we were using the forums themselves to do the Trading Post is because there was so much off-topic chatter going on in the threads that kept some of the pushed to the top. The Classifieds system is sort of the great equalizer in that sense. The off-topic remarks are curtailed, legitimate questions can be asked on the Questions tab of each ad, and the overall value of the system goes way up as the signal-to-noise ratio improves. I can't tell you how many people complained almost daily via the report this post feature about people ruining Trading Post threads with dumb commentary. Not saying all commentary is dumb, just saying the really dumb remarks made people unhappy.
  20. Just sayin' Some people just don't have any manners.
  21. No, as mentioned there is a Questions tab in each Classified ad. They can click that and enter a question and it will let you know.
  22. I've set it so that there is now a 2048 KB (2MB) upload limit per advertisement. Folks, that is a LOT of space. If you're using up more than 2MB to post pictures, you need to resize your pictures. In fact you should always resize your pictures before you upload them. Even an 8 megapixel camera will generate photos that are just too damn big for practical use. 800 x 600 pixels is perfect for most ads. 1024 x 768 pixels is way larger than most things require. If you're uploading a photo that is over 500KB, you're probably uploading something too big.
  23. I don't see a whole lot of point in the needless chatter that so many people filled the ads with in the past. The classifieds are for selling. The forums are for talking. As for the problem with not being able to add more than one or two uploads, I'll get that squared away.
  24. Send me the PayPal transaction ID. We had a problem yesterday that IPB support had to fix for us and the query they ran to straighten it out may have hosed your Benefactor account.
  25. Thanks for stopping in to reply to this!
