  1. Daryl, the support section isn't the place for Vendor correspondences. Please PM me directly or email. Thanks.
  2. I can adjust the browser agent string in the software so that the mobile skin is not chosen by default for the iPad if that's what the majority prefer.
  3. You give these people the benefit of the doubt that they are stupid. They aren't They intentionally misconstrued the statement for the sake of both sensationalist reporting and the fact they knew that the ignorant reading public would happily lap up what they were being told and therefore sway public opinion. The public is full of lazy morons who won't think for themselves when they can let the media do the thinking for them.
  4. Just wondering... How many of you have had enough of this #### yet to do something about it at the polls? Any chance you all will remember it come election time? There should be a lot of employee turnover on Tennessee's capitol hill after this. Doubt there will be, though. The attention span of the voting public isn't long enough to allow them to hold a grudge.
  5. Great. Now the tax payers get to feed, clothe and house this poor misunderstood, under-hugged individual for the next 20 years or so.
  6. You should maybe start teaching for a better organization.
  7. Chip and Patrick are both vendors here and either of them will do a great job for you.
  8. I still say the best course of action is to fire them all. Every single last one of them. Clean house, start over. If the next batch doesn't represent us, fire them too and clean house once again. Keep doing this until these pompous asses realize they work for us and that failing to do so means going back to their regular day jobs. We all seem to be forgetting that for many elected officials, they take the job because of the presumed prestige and power. Reluctant leaders are good leaders. How many of these jackasses seem all that reluctant to be in power? Not many from what I've seen.
  9. No, I don't recall that at all but I'm also not the sole person policing threads as I'm sure you already know.
  10. I've renamed the "Features" tab to "Details" so hopefully that will help things a little. Still looking to move certain key info to the overview tab.
  11. I'm going to try to modify the code somewhat so that it displays certain things a little more logically.
  12. Say what you want, but he's got huevos grandes.
  13. We've become a society of politically correct, overly sensitive pussies if you can't use historical references to illustrate a point without some hand-wringing minger's fragile sensibilities being used as carte blanche justification for a smear campaign from the opposition. Decorum would almost dictate that I conclude this response with a statement along the lines of "Pardon my bluntness" or "Pardon my French" but the truth of the matter is more like this: Screw you if this offends you. Get over yourself and grow some skin.
  14. Under the Features tab in a listing.
  15. That "thing" is an allen set screw. You will have to loosen it before you can drift the sight.
  16. This thread had a lot of potential initially but I don't know if any of us have really considered the logistics of actually coordinating any sort of emergency assistance. Communication would be king in the event that things go pear shaped and depending on what sort of emergency we're talking about, that could mean anything other than electronic communication. Still, I am an Amateur Radio (HAM) operator and keep a portable unit in my supplies, and also have a mobile unit in my vehicle. Hopefully those would be useful and operational in the event of an emergency.
  17. Brandon used to be a Vendor here but apparently didn't see the value in continuing. He sure does get a lot of business from TGO though. It's a shame that folks don't check with our supporting vendors for things like this first. D&T, The Armory... both support this site.
  18. He's a class act all the way around. I will never forget the day that Daniel, Fallguy and I attended the big "Guns in Bars" hearing a few years back and sat near this jackass. Prior to the hearing he was going on about how it was illegal for someone 18 years old to buy a handgun from a private individual, to which we all responded he was wrong. Pope began to argue with us about that until finally John Harris told him we were correct, which shut him up. He struck me as a moron back then, which made me wonder why Harris even entertained his company. I guess there was some "usefulness" in him for the TFA during that period in time and he just hadn't become the loose canon on deck that he is now. Whatever the reason for that friendship was, he never seemed like the kind of person I wanted to be associated with or who could possibly be doing any favors to Tennessee's gun owners if he didn't know any more about the basics than that. Fast forward 2-3 years and whattayaknow... I was right.
  19. It's surprising this isn't the first hit on Google when you search for his name... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot
  20. Wow... I had no idea that NC was so... Marxist.

Keep in mind that Smith & Wesson provides a lifetime warranty on the firearm regardless of who owns it, so you can generally send them back to S&W (on their dime) and they will R&R whatever is wrong for free.
  22. Not unless you are specifically being targeted. We teach this method to our people at my place of employment. I personally don't use it but my system is somewhat similar, albeit based on a mathematical formula that uses a sequence of #s and variables pulled from the "root" of my passwords. Unfortunately it also means most of my passwords are about 12 characters long.
  23. I'm always game for hearing how we can avoid pitfalls. Feel free to shoot me a PM or reply publicly if you have any key "take aways" from that other experience that can help us make sure we're doing the right thing.
