You know who thinks it's awesome that this thread has made it to four pages? ^^ This guy  Free publicity at the expense of the detractors.

You bet. It's the least I can do. :)

I deleted your current Benefactor invoice. BUT... you've got enough on your plate right now. This one is on me.

What I've been up to the last few months (Pic Heavy)
TGO David replied to gunrunner32's topic in Show and Tell
Guys, I've deleted some posts in this thread for an obvious reason. We have Vendors here who have gunsmiths on their payroll and who do firearms refinishing. If this thread turns back into a discussion of whether this is being done for profit or not, I'm deleting the thread entirely. I would hope that our members would do the ethical thing and seek professional services from the Vendors that we have supporting the site. Gunrunner was a Vendor here a few years ago. The door is open (and more affordable now) should he desire to go that route again and provide this as a service to others. -
It never ceases to amaze me how people who don't know James, hasn't trained with James or even met him know SO much about him. Funny how that works.
I really don't have a dog in this hunt, but I feel compelled to point out that the reason folks know SO much about him is because James has apparently made it his mission for this to be the case. If he wanted anonymity he wouldn't be posting any of this crap on the Internet. Like I said, he is keenly aware that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Any uproar involving him on any message board, YouTube, etc. just spikes his Google search relevancy which drives traffic to his web site which drives money into his bank account. The guy truly gets it and is making bank off of the people who post bad things about him online. Every time Yeager's name is mentioned, a weekend warrior gets his wings.
TN law gives him the right, and the reason is his call. - OS
Very true. I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing if I were an officer. My primary goal would be -- as I am sure it is theirs -- to go home to my family at the end of my shift. -

If it's a Youtube video you just paste the link and the software does the rest. It may not recognize Photobucket videos.

Premium (Benefactor) Membership issue
TGO David replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Feedback and Support
Frankly I had no idea the software had "gift vouchers" ... that's pretty darn cool. -
What brought about the 180 on handloads?
Does it really matter? Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Mother wants debt inherited from dead son's loans forgiven.
TGO David replied to maroonandwhite's topic in General Chat
When my dad died a few months ago he left behind a lot of debt and not enough life insurance to cover it all. So we're liquidating a lot of the estate to cover it. No one's forgiving those loans and we sure as hell didn't expect them to or ask them to. Life sucks sometimes. -

"PRIVATE" security Rambo at Wallmart kills a shoplifter.
noted...still didnt want to stoop to others levels and air anything out on the thread. i even think some where in TGO history mods other others in authority have asked us not to do that?? just trying to comply.
Interesting. I think I said I wasn't naming names yet you're all but tripping over your dick {keeping with the Favre analogy because, well ... it's funny} to implicate yourself for some reason, and I'm still not saying who the PM was about. Got something you need to get off your chest? Maybe it'll make you feel better and bring some value to this thread. Otherwise, I'm still keeping quiet about who I was referring to. -
There's a bunch of people who's profiles I look at daily. Because I like to.

"PRIVATE" security Rambo at Wallmart kills a shoplifter.
TGO David replied to K191145's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
So I had an interesting PM this morning. One of our members who has worked in the private security industry called the regulatory board that oversees licensing for such things in Tennessee and learned that someone in this thread, who has been very vocal and claims to currently work private security, is NOT licensed in the state of Tennessee. It seems his armed guard license expired on February 28th, 2009. I'm not naming names, but clearly there is some interest in whether people are full of it or not and I wanted to throw this out there. Point being, either someone here is telling stories that aren't true or they're not operating within the law and maybe they should get that fixed. Just a friendly reminder that on the Internet there are both posers and professionals. The professionals are watching. -
I was looking at the Sabre a while back but ended up getting a Carhartt "soft shell" instead.

I don't think I'd let that go if I were in your shoes. A bolt action .308 is a pretty versatile rifle.
