Obviously you're not restricted so just ignore it for now. Apparently it is taking into consideration that your secondary member group on the administrative side is "Member" and showing it to you anyway. I'll have to see if I can change that behavior.

Send me the transaction #. If you paid as an e-Check instead of money that came out of your PayPal account or as a debit card transaction, it's going to take some time to process and clear. When it does it will update automatically. This was covered in a FAQ entry too I think.

It sounds to me like you should take out the necessary loan to open your own shooting range and then price the memberships however you see fit.

Gotta say... this is the first time I've had someone say it was our web site's fault that they didn't read the multitude of announcements, FAQs and even the notice posted at the top of every single Trading Post page stating that only Benefactors can respond publicly to threads. This is an Internet forum. The requirement that you engage in reading things is sort of a given, considering the nature of the medium. Just saying.

I used to wonder at what point the American people would topple these little tyrants at the voting booth and then it occurred to me that with 50% of the public sucking at the government tit, that's just not going to happen. Now I'm starting to wonder at what point the minority of Americans who still believe in the value of the Constitution are going to reach their limit and start imparting "change" by more dramatic means.

Looking for gun safe thoughts
TGO David replied to robert45's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Best recommendation I can give is to not skimp. People often skimp on the safe and then fill it with things of value worth many times what the safe itself cost, let alone what a good safe would cost. -

People who go on and on and on about how honest they are, never are. -
Merry Christmas, folks!

Meh... Target does the same thing. Policies are what they are, I suppose.

Everything is now an "assault" weapon and selling
TGO David replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
I'm hoping to capitalize on some of the poor judgment these assclowns have shown by picking up a rifle or two for a fraction of the price come Februrary or March when they realize that Obama can't get jack shit pushed through Congress and folks start dumping them to pay off their credit card debt. -

This past week my wife and I have stopped in a few gun shops just to witness the madness. Everyone from vendors here to big box stores like Academy are picked clean on rifles. Handguns, not so much. But if you want a semi-automatic rifle of any kind, you're pretty much screwed at this point. I've seen crap that people wouldn't have spent a nickle on two weeks ago flying off store shelves and demanding top dollar on GunBroker. It's been eye opening. -
Highly insulting to gays. Likely many of them don't want to be associated with him either.

Love my ZT 0350 enough that I've given them as gifts too. One will be opened tomorrow as a matter of fact.

Forum Admin uses Executive Order to change thread title to keep from scaring people to death....

I did a quick glance at my usual sources and they're bone dry. I'd wait out the current panic before I seriously tried to find any at this point.

How have you reacted personally? Bought guns? Mags? Ammo?
TGO David replied to hipower's topic in General Chat
Kind of seemed that way. Maybe you should think before you post something like that again. -
 Nice... they called me about that Shield right before they called you I guess. We had put our name on the list a while back but after picking up the XD-S for pocket carry, I just couldn't bring myself to do the Shield right now. Congrats! I'll be interested in hearing how you like it long term.

Good job!

Might want to see the other thread about this.

Man I really hate to hear that about your truck but you know, God works in mysterious ways and I bet He knew you could use a little down-time to rest and recover. :) Our '04 F250 used to give me fits. Overall I love Diesels but occasionally they just decide to puke a part and you're stuck for a while. Here's to hoping they get you back on the road sooner than expected.

I picked up two more mags each for my M&P 9mm and .40SW but that's about it. I was meaning to grab more of them anyway so I went ahead and ordered them from Midway on Wednesday while they were still available. I've been eying a new rifle but I refuse to pay post-CT pricing on one. I'll either wait for a more realistic price or I'll just abstain. -
So I listened, I watched and I read. I'm still not crazy about the pop-culture slant they went with but all in all it was a good reply. Good enough that I have upgraded to Life Member.

When is it going to be OK to sale mags, ammo, and ARs for the going rate?
TGO David replied to swim615's topic in General Chat
So here's my take on this... Something is only over-priced if it is above fair market value. Right now the market will sustain quite a bit of markup over what it did last week. If you're really wanting to part with some items that are in high demand right now, you would be silly not to ask the current going rate for them. It doesn't matter if you are asking a fair price now or three weeks ago, someone out there is going to bitch because they want the best deal possible and feel like you somehow owe it to them to give them that deal. Don't worry about that. I would caution you against selling something today that you might not be able to replace again later, though. Unless you're hurting for cash, I'd sit on those items and see what happens. It could come to pass that you would end up really, really regretting it later. -
Who is out shopping tonight, what are you carrying?
TGO David replied to tennessee01tacoma's topic in General Chat
Same thing as always... M&P 9mm with spare 17rd mag and my XD-S in my weak-side hip pocket and a spare mag for it in a thigh pocket. -
Frequently Asked Question: How do I post pictures on this forum? Posting pictures into threads on the TGO forum is easier than you might expect, however we do not currently allow our members to upload pictures directly to threads or posts. The first thing that you will need to do is upload your photos to a server on the Internet. Many Internet Service Providers give each customer their own private web space to host pictures and such, so you might want to go that route. Another option that we know works very well here is to set up a free account with Photobucket [link] and begin uploading your photos there. They have mountains of storage space available and their servers are uniquely configured to handle that sort of traffic, whereas ours really cannot. Once you upload your photos to a service like Photobucket, you need to find the URL of the photo that you want to insert into your post. Photobucket makes this easy and actually includes quick links to share a photo to a web site, post it in a forum, etc. by providing you with codes to copy and paste into a message here on TNJeeps. Or you can find a photo that you want to share, right click on it inside your web browser and choose the option for "Copy Image Location" (Firefox, and similar browsers) from the resulting menu that pops up. An example follows. Once you have the URL copied into your computer's clip board, you can simply come back to the TGO message editor when posting a reply or a new thread, and click on the Image button in the toolbar as shown below. This will open up a new dialogue box where you will copy and paste the URL of the photo that you want to share. Like this... Once you have done this, your photo will show up in the message you are posting provided you copied the URL correctly. :) One important thing to note is that the TGO forum software expects your image URL to end in an appropriate picture file format such as .JPG or .GIF. Some photo hosting services such as Facebook use a URL structure that does not make sense to our forum software, therefore those images won't display properly. This is why we recommend Photobucket in particular, as their service has proven to be extremely reliable and easy to use. We hope that this FAQ entry helps!
