This is the twin of this slide on my Gen5 G19. I'm posting this pic just to show you what it looks like in use. This particular sale ad is for a slide only. Nothing else shown in this photo is included in the sale. But now you know what your Glock could look like with this slide. Which it to say, cooler than it does right now.

This stuff worries me because when you purportedly have members of one group of people broadcasting that they are prowling with the intent to do harm, you will almost always have members of counter groups of people who take it as gospel and mount their own efforts to "patrol" as opposition. Unless cooler heads prevail, it sets communities up for widespread violence.

Watching it now, actually.

Anyone who tracks firearms social media outside of TGO has undoubtedly seen that the Prodigy pistols have been fraught with problems and that early adopters are finding themselves in one of two camps: No problems or tons of problems. Sadly, this is typical of new product launches in general but definitely a problem that Springfield Armory is no stranger to. I am particularly glad that they don't make spacecraft, airplanes or automobiles. Anyway, here's a good and pretty fairly balanced video review.

Not that it probably matters to anyone, but this truly is an extra. I'm not moving away from the Agency AOS at all. I simply have another that I am running on my G19. If you're thinking about running an optic on your Glock G19 or G45, or want a stronger and more versatile optics mounting system for your existing optic setup, don't sleep on this!

SOLD: Agency Arms Syndicate S2 AOS Slide for Glock Gen 5 G19 G45 Sale price is $400 shipped to you in the lower 48 US States. Due to switching some things around, I have an extra Syndicate S2 slide with the insanely versatile and durable AOS (Agency Optics System) and am offering it for sale. This is gently used with about 200 rounds through it and in excellent condition. More pics, further down! If you are looking to put an optic on your Gen 5 Glock G19 or G45, this is the way to do it. The AOS system uses mounting plates that are superior to anything else on the market, in my opinion, and which allow you to use most any pistol optic available. The rear iron sight installs on the mounting plate, and plates are available with the site in front of or behind the optic! This slide comes with the standard irons-only plate. You can find AOS optics plates at Midway USA and many other retailers. Specifications: Part Number: SYN-19S2-G5 Caliber: 9mm Color: Black Finish: DLC Fits Manufacturer: Glock Includes: AOS Iron Plate, Channel Liner Material: 416R Stainless Steel Terms of Sale: What you see is what you get. Nothing is hidden or altered in these photos. Retail price is $550 at Omaha Outdoors. They have consistently been the cheapest place to buy these, but are currently out of stock. If you're in AK or HI, you'll need to talk with me about postage. Payment needs to be PayPal. More Pics! Last but not least, this is the twin of this slide on my Gen5 G19. I'm posting this pic just to show you what it looks like in use. This partcular sale ad is for a slide only. Nothing else shown in this photo is included in the sale.

Slacktivism, my man. Slacktivism. Sign a check, cast a vote, pay some taxes... and hire someone else to take care of the problem rather than putting skin in the game. If folks want to head this off, they need to be in it for the long game. Get involved in the lives of kids who need positive role models. Show them that there's another way.

I suppose there are some people who legitimate idolize the British royal family, but my own feelings toward QE2 are just simple admiration and respect. As someone else pointed out, she was gutsy. She also made it her lifelong commitment to put the people of her country first. She, from all appearances, embodied the concept of Servant Leadership. I admire that. She very much seemed to be cut from the same cloth as what we've come to call "The Greatest Generation". She served her country in WWII and knew what true evil looked like and was resolute to stand against it. Again, I admire that. I hope that she truly rests in peace and is now with God, enjoying an eternal reward for a job well done.

HELP ME UNDERSTAND.....PLEASE
TGO David replied to JohnSutton1980's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
It can take some time to adjust to and you might even find benefit getting some help, at the range, from someone who is already proficient with it. Dry fire is also your friend. In fact, dry fire is a scenario where you will get more out of it by having a dot and it will also make you better with the dot by practicing. Incorporate drawing from a holster, drawing from concealment, into your dry fire with the dot and take your time with it. Pay attention to how your hands, arms, shoulders, head, and eyes are positioned when it works and then deconstruct that slowly, in reverse, to figure out the draw mechanics. It's the same as learning to draw and acquire your iron sights but once it clicks for you, it'll allow you to be faster. -
In other words, don't sleep on this one! Seriously, it's hard to imagine a more comfortable holster than this one.
-
I've got one of these myself. SUPER comfortable holster. The wait time on getting Milt Sparks to build a holster for you has historically been measured in months, so this sale ad is a great way to own one without that sort of delay.

This typically happens when people copy and paste onto TGO from somewhere else.

OOOOOOOOoooooooo, you went there!

Fishing shirt, cargo shorts, white socks and a crisp pair of New Balance kicks and you'll be set.

I imagine they're pushing their Dragonfly optic, or whatever it's called, but I'm with you on wanting other options. The AOS mounting system should make that a non-issue. I'm not ditching my C2 for one of these but I can see buying one or two of them for myself and the wife. I want something to carry that I'd be a little less bothered by if it got banged around in a class or I had to watch it disappear into an evidence vault if, God forbid, I had to use it to defend myself. And my wife is a sucker for the 1911/2011 and this would be a great way to give her one of her own.
-
Entire segments of gun-toting professionals, competitive shooters, and armed civilians who take the craft seriously. It kind of blows my mind that there is anyone left who hasn't noticed the resurgence of the 2011 over the past few years.

More information that excites me: Confirmed that Springfield licensed the Agency Optics System (AOS) from Agency Arms. This is an OMG moment for me as (a.) it's a hell of a smart move that provides an outstanding optics mounting design, and (b.) it means that Agency is willing to license the AOS to other manufacturers now and that will be great for everyone. The magazines are not made by MecGar as was previously reported but are made by DuraMag instead. If I had to choose between them, it's a no-brainer: DuraMag. They (DuraMag) also stated on social media that they worked hard to make these mags compatible with the Staccato series of pistols, so this means we will start seeing cheaper and arguably better mags for that platform as a result.

You’re not their target demographic.

More high-res pics. In photos, this thing looks good and looks like a veritable clone of the Staccato C2. It's been a long while since I was legitimately excited about a new gun, but this could light my fire if it's done well. Don't F this up, Springfield.

I've got a Staccato C2 DPO (optics ready) and carry it often. If this 1911DS from Springfield doesn't suck, I can see myself buying one so as to have a less expensive option for carry purposes. The problem with Springfield is that you can buy two of the same gun from them and one will be perfect and trouble-free, and the other might be a complete trainwreck. I'm going to be interested in seeing how this one shakes out.
