1. HOW TO CLEAR YOUR WEB BROWSER'S CACHE Occasionally things may seem a bit wonky with the TGO site, especially after an upgrade of the forum software. Sites with interactive, dynamic content such as TGO often place pieces of Java code in your web browser's cache to accelerate the delivery of pages and provide the rich content that you're used to seeing. In order to properly update that locally-stored code, you often need to clear your web browser's cache and force it to download the latest version from our web server. Here is a great link that describes how to do this on many of the common web browser platforms: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache 1.1 Chrome v10+ 1.2 Chrome v1 - v9 1.3 Safari for iOS, iPhone and iPad 1.4 Safari for Mac OS X 1.5 Safari for Windows 1.6 Internet Explorer 9 1.7 Internet Explorer 8 1.8 Internet Explorer 7 1.9 Firefox 1.10 Android 1.11 Opera 1.12 Mozilla SeaMonkey 1.13 Konqueror Enjoy!
2. Empty out your browser's cache files and reload the page.  If the IPB folks changed the underlying Java code in this release it may be causing problems if you have old code cached.  I cleared my browser cache yesterday after reloading the forum software and I have not experienced any of the problems you guys are describing.   http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache
3. Got more in the store right now.  :)
4. More decals are loaded back up in the store.  :)
5. I'd definitely check with Tim.  He was the first name that came to mind for what you're asking about.
6. Yep, the coin idea I've been working on in Illustrator uses the TGO icon as part of the design.  :)
7. Adding more this weekend.  :)
8. Those asshats at IPB have broken the message editor again with the latest version of the forum software.    Since upgrading, the WYSIWYG editor does not respond to control-key sequences to set font formatting.  Example,  <CTRL+B> for bold text or <CTRL+I> for italicized text.  Pressing the editor buttons does switch to the desired format.   They say a fix is coming in 3.4.3 release.  No telling what they'll break in its place.
9. I got this gem this morning.  Some of you may remember the ad in question that we deleted.
I was grossly mistreated due to pricing concerns about 3 weeks ago by TGO Actual David. He deleted my listings and suspended my account over pricing on some AR mags. I was extremely upset with TGO more than you can imagine that a site like this would try to dictate pricing in a free economy. I received all kinds of nasty posts and people calling me names and so on. I also still have "warning points" on my account and a bad rep on the forum over this. I now see the pricing policy was reverted because it was not fair or appropriate for TGO to tell me what I can charge for MY items. I would like an apology from David and TGO for the way I was treated as well as removal of the warning points from my account.
Normally I don't make it a habit of sharing private correspondences but it's absolutely my prerogative to do so as I'm 1/2 of the conversation and the person did pretty much demand action be taken.  So this is my action and it'll be a cold day in Hell before I apologize for deleting the original posting of two Magpul PMags for $250.   The policy shift was not an acknowledgment that this guy was right.  It was an acknowledgement that the Staff here does not stand a reasonable chance of ensuring that no ads designed to GOUGE our members slip through unnoticed and an acknowledgement that the members should be left to decide what is reasonable and what is not by voting with their wallets.   But sending a report to me, demanding that I sit myself down and have a stern come to Jesus talk with myself and force myself to apologize probably will not yield the desired result.  I know myself pretty well and I'm fairly certain that I can say with authority that I won't be agreeable to those terms any more than the members here will be agreeable to the idea of paying $250 for two $15 PMags just because there's a shortage of them at the moment.   Maybe I'm wrong about that.  Maybe someone will.  Really don't care!  But I know I'm right about the fact that TGO David won't be making any apologies for deleting that thread or issuing much deserved warning points.   I know the guy pretty well and he's doesn't work like that.   :hat:
10. Important Update - Jan 30, 2013   In light of the storms that went through the area this morning and the fact that various parts of the region will have cleanup efforts that members might be participating in, I am going to postpone this until Feb 9th at the earliest.   Thanks.
11. It's easy to make drive-by accusations.  I'd seriously like to know who the person is.
12. I would welcome the politics of a HOA right now as long as they had the teeth to curb some of the things going on in our current neighborhood that are killing our home value.
13. I'm not a member of EDC Forum and have no contact with any of their staff.  Sorry.
14. Welcome to TGO!
15. Be sure to post up some pics of where you put these things!   It's going to be fun to start seeing vehicles and such out on the road with the TGO emblem on them.  :D
16.   Yeah, I can't stop the bus from running me over but I can somewhat control how fast it hits me.
17. We've still got 800 of these (give or take) remaining... I'm just not putting them all up at once.  :)
18. So my wife and I are looking to move to a different part of middle TN soon and we've been looking at quite a few pieces of new construction lately.  By that I mean our "hobby" for the past six months seems to have become driving through neighborhoods under construction and walking through the houses as they're being built.  It's given us a lot of insight into the way various builders are putting their houses together as we've watched properties go from foundation to completed houses and have seen firsthand what they've done in framing and finishing.   To date I've not seen anything wrong (per se) with the way that the Drees builders are constructing their floor plans and we've liked a few of their neighborhoods.  I'm just curious if anyone here owns a Drees-built home and if you're satisfied with it.  Feel free to shoot me a private message if you'd rather not post it publicly.  I know some folks don't really want the world knowing that much about them, so I'm cool with that.
19. Apparently my first request went unheeded.  Locking thread.   Let's go back to discussing guns.
20. Guys, can we get back to arguing about guns and government, because I really don't think TGO has any business getting between people's bed sheets to see what lurks beneath.   Thanks.
21.   The law is the law regardless of how you sell it.  If you're buying for the sole sake of reselling, and you aren't an FFL holder, you are breaking the law.
22. Whew... ok.  We've got to get this batch mailed out but I will put more up for grabs this weekend.
23. I can merge your two accounts if it helps.
24.   Cute.  I'll say the same thing about whoever you're talking about that I say about anyone else.  If you think it's fishy, report them.  I'd do it for you if I thought you were up to something that was going to make the rest of the community look bad.  I expect our moderators to toe the line and hold themselves to a higher standard.
25. I was actually looking into this the other day.  It'll have to wait until next month or so before I can really devote any time to seriously investigating our options, though.  I still need to get us moved over to our new web server.
