TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread

No, I've got this covered. I don't need or want a bunch of complications in this. Thanks though. -

Can't help you there. If I did a decal exactly the way everyone wanted it, I'd have about 17,000 versions of it. -

It's interesting how people see differences in fonts. I see rugged character, time tested, worn, battle proven... legacy. You see fading away. Probably because both of these are true? -
TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread
TGO David replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
T-Shirts keep coming up but we're seriously not ready to do them yet. Until I find a company that can do on-the-fly production, with good quality, and do complete order fulfillment it's just not an option yet. I work about 50 hours a week at my "day job" and TGO gets what time I don't give my family. I just don't have the kind of free time it takes to do shirt orders. -
TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread

Sunday Morning Update... Please take a look at the first post in this thread again and vote once more on the poll. I came up with a design that I think maybe is more in tune with what's going on in the political space right now and represents our desire to see the Second Amendment not infringed upon. We need to decide which of these to produce first. Both stand a good chance of being produced in time, but if we had one choice which would it be? Here's the new design: -
No Android devices here so I cannot test to confirm. Nothing has changed on the server in the past 2 weeks. Try clearing your browser cache, or force-close all instances of your browser and try again. Several folks had Android related problems recently and determined that killing the browser and then reloading TGO's pages fixed it.

TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread
TGO David replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
OK... I modified the poll so please go back and vote again. Sizes would be: 4.00 x 6.00 inches @ $4.50 each 2.25 x 3.50 inches @ $3.50 each I'll place an initial order on Monday based off of response. We need to sell at least 100 of these in any combination in order to make it worth doing. -
TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread

Any interest in a 2-inch by 3-inch version? I was kind of torn on the smaller sticker but it would be a little more subtle. Cost difference would be negligible. Maybe $3.50 instead of $4.50, but I won't be sure until I talk to the printing company. -
TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread

Be sure to vote on the attached poll so that I can get the pre-order quantity right. We sold completely out of the TGO Icon decals the first day I had them available and that meant everyone else had to wait a week. I'd like to order the right amount this time to ensure that no one is left sad and sticker-less. :) -
TGO Keep Calm And Carry On Decals ... Pre-Order Thread

Still to come. But if you guys want shirts, you need to buy some decals. It all takes money and if we had money I wouldn't be selling stickers to raise more. ;) -
Sorry for the confusion folks but I came up with another idea that I think maybe is more in tune with what's going on in the political space right now and represents our desire to see the Second Amendment not infringed upon. We're doing this to continue raising money for TGO's operating expenses which, since December of last year, have gone out the ceiling due to the three upgrades we've had to make to our web servers to keep up with traffic. If you have ordered some of the TGO icon decals you know that those are top quality laminated vinyl meant to survive all-weather conditions. These will be made by the same folks in the same way and will be a great way to show your support of the Second Amendment on your car, truck, toolbox, gun safe, laptop, cat, dog, whatever. Which of these do you prefer the most? Option 'A' - Keep Calm And Carry On ...or... Option 'B' - Shall Not Be Infringed I can see eventually producing both but one of these will get produced first. Specifics would be as follows: Full color print process Laminated, all-weather vinyl Peel n' stick application 4.00 x 6.00 inches @ $4.50 each 2.25 x 3.50 inches @ $3.50 each I will be adding a page to the TGO Store soon. Just wanted to go ahead and get this out there and let you all know about them. I'm working on T-Shirts as well with this on the back and the TGO logo on the front. Those are going to take a little more time, though.

So I was inspired and started playing with some ideas...
TGO David replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
We're actually getting ready to print some. I offered the artwork up specifically for use on Facebook or something like that and stated that they weren't to be reproduced in any other format. You're welcome to fire up a copy of Adobe Illustrator and make something of your own though. -
There's a reason why we have so many firearms listings on here. TGO works. The other sites, not so much.
-
Yeah and what I said stands. Apparently you have a burr up your butt about it, but if a person has a problem with one of our vendors they are expected to take it up with them where it stands to do some good. Don't come onto TGO trashing one of our sponsors if you didn't bother taking it up with them first.

I'm sidelining this for the moment. Got too many other things in the queue and will have to revisit in a while.

Welcome!

I'll take the first matter under advisement but the requirement that an item have a picture is not one we can readily enforce nor is it one you really want us to impose. There are a lot of gun owners on TGO who simply don't have the equipment, the know-how, or both, to post a picture of every single thing they offer up for sale. Yes it's the year 2013 and yes half the planet seems to have grown up on the Internet, but the is the other half that still struggles with how to link a picture or how to upload a picture or how to even take a picture. That request is one I'll have to decline for the time being.

Sorry - I haven't had any time to look at this but will do so today.

Comcast pulls gun related advertising
TGO David replied to klamb5's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I wonder if they will be issuing refunds to the local shops that were advertising with them. I know that Outpost Armory did. I think I've seen an ad for Guns & Leather as well.
