I had the 6.2L and it was a POS. Less than 100 miles and 1-day of ownership, the power steering pump failed. Of course there was a national backorder and they estimated 6-8 weeks for a part. I raised incredible hell in the middle of their showroom and they magically found a steering pump for me. Probably robbed it off of another truck. Two weeks later the rear window began leaking. The "fix" for that was to silicone the hell out of it. It kept leaking. They finally replaced the whole window. Then, as the weather got colder the rear window shattered. They replaced it again and of course it started leaking almost immediately. It took them THREE rear windows to get it sealed properly. Then we had to fight them over the headliner being water damaged. Yet another repair. And then the lifters started to fail. Another 6-8 weeks of waiting on parts and they would only replace the lifters on the bank that was having problems despite the fact that everyone knew the other bank would go soon. And it did. I traded the truck at that point.

My Trail Boss was the worst decision I ever made. The turbo-diesel version may be slightly better but I'd rather let you kick me in the crotch than me ever take another chance on one of those.

You can assume that almost every hospital is going to be posted. Centennial is. I have never seen metal detectors there, but I have not gone through every entrance.

January 6, 2021 is a great example of aligning oneself with groups of people that you might later regret aligning yourself with. There are a lot of people whose lives were ruined because they got caught up in the hype and excitement only to realize later that the government really does draw a line between free speech and seditious behavior. Again, it's easy to question people's patriotism on a forum and accuse them of disappointing the founding fathers, but George Washington isn't going to sit in prison with you if you get it wrong.

Buddy, the smart people doing what you're wanting to do aren't talking about it on the Internet. You can insult people all you want if that makes you feel brave or more patriotic, but it also paints you as the kind of person -- too loud, no discretion -- that smart people aren't going to want to pull into their inner circle of prepared individuals. Your "tribe" ought to start with people you already know and have known for years. But do them a favor and learn how to fly under the radar.

Looking for someone to chop a Glock grip
TGO David replied to Spots's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
I looked at that guy's website and the gallery of work he's already done. You sure that's the route you want to go? As has already been shown in another thread, it's hard to go back to good from ... not so good. -
It can be done but it's generally cost prohibitive. For the Glock, you're probably better off finding someone selling just the frame and buying a new one. Rocket City Stippling has some Glock frames for sale right now, actually. Bear in mind that of course that will involve an FFL and a transfer fee since Glock frames bear the serial number for the firearm.

I never really thought of myself as a "Sig guy" but... here I am. Most days it's my P320X series (3.9" barrel) with Wilson Combat compact grip, Holosun 509T optic and Streamlight TLR-7A WML. Some days it's a P365XL Spectre Comp, some days it's a Glock 19, some days it's my Staccato C2. But most days it's that P320X.

If there is someone in the area that does this work, I haven't heard of them, and this isn't the kind of work that you want to be some newbie's "First" for either. You will probably need to send it off. I've had some work done by this guy and have seen a lot of other examples of what he can do. He's good. What Chuck said.

I edited the thread title so that people would know what you were selling.

These are really great guns. BIG, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better polymer .45ACP - period. I had one for a few years and it was a tack driver. Good luck with your sale!

Re-Factor Tactical's Brain Box / Kill Zone Target This may trigger some folks, but the fastest way to end a gunfight is to accurately and quickly produce fatal trauma in the central nervous system. This target will hone your ability to do that. Printable_Targets_KillZone.pdf

Red Dot Alignment Tool This target works well for sighting in rifle-based red dots from 50-yards, or sighting in pistol-based red dots at 10-yards (or whatever your poison is). I prefer a 10-yard zero and 25-yard confirmation on my pistols. red-dot-50yd-mod1.pdf

Three-Dot Drills These are insidious. A friend brought these to a team range session a few months ago the group competed against each other for high score. It's more challenging than it looks. Here's how it works: The dots are the size of a bullet hole of the indicated caliber. The white space in the center of the dots is also the size of a bullet hole of the indicated caliber. Aim for the white space in the middle of each set of three dots. Scoring: Your bullet hole touches all three dots = 4 points Your bullet hole touches any two dots = 2 points Your bullet hole touches any one dot = 1 point Shoot all of the sets and tally up the score. Max score is 40-points. 3Dots Drill - 9mm.pdf 3Dots Drill - 40.40.pdf 3Dots Drill - 45.45.pdf

Its head looks too thin and pointy to be a coyote. That looks like a fox to me.

Glad you got it out there and ran it! We've got a few guys on our team at church running Hellcats. I'm not sure if any of them have the Pro version. A few of them shot with me at an informal workshop that one of the guys hosted a few months ago and both they and their guns did really good. Plenty accurate, even on some walk-back drills out to 25 yards or so.
