No need to bump it... that was turned off to conserve server resources. The error is just a vague message instead of stating you don't have permission to view it.

Still waiting on Tim to become a Vendor here. Lord knows he's gotten enough business from TGO.

It's been discussed here before somewhere but the basic gist is I have no way of customizing Tapatalk like that. We only get the fields they give us since it's a 3rd party application and has almost no settings on my side to configure.

So very sorry to hear about your injury. Perhaps there are ways that you can still enjoy the Trail after you heal, either by volunteering some time to do trail repair, or teaching others, etc. I've learned that when life closes one door, it generally opens another. Keep your spirits up!

Back to the subject at hand, among the various handguns I own are two XD-S's. I carry one as my pocket gun and my wife carries one as her primary. We've had zero problems out of them from about 500 rounds each so far. Certainly no light primer strikes. For a small .45ACP it is, in my opinion, the best thing going right now. That being said I would not choose it as my primary simply because I prefer something a little bit bigger for extended shooting (ie practice sessions) and I prefer something with a larger magazine capacity. If I were going to pick a .45ACP as my primary it would be either the M&P 45 mid-size with the 4" bbl or the HK 45C. I do in fact have the M&P 45 mid-size but it tends to stay uncarried in favor of the M&P 9mm instead simply for weight savings and larger magazine capacity. Which takes us back to the notion that with modern defensive ammunition there really aren't too many compelling reasons for me to choose a .45 over a 9mm, but the additional capacity in the same size frame does give me a compelling reason to carry the 9mm if given the choice between the two. My logic is a bit screwy perhaps and it almost seems contradictory to what I just said when I explain why I chose the XD-S for pocket carry. For that particular application I once again weighed caliber vs. capacity and came to the conclusion that in a pocket gun where I was going to be deficient on capacity anyway, I might as well carry the largest projectile possible.

Open trigger guard??

My daughter would love that Lilac. I had no idea those were even available yet.

So which PPQ did you get, Mike? Is it the new V2? I've been sorely tempted to sell off something and pick up a V2 in 9mm. Posts like yours really make it hard not to scratch that itch.

Catching Brass...Anybody Have a way to do this?
TGO David replied to Randall53's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Like Westwindmike, we just use a tarp to collect as much of our brass as possible. -
As long as the app is working that's all I can help you with. The rest is on Google.

Gun Owners Separate Friends from Foes
TGO David replied to QuietDan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Very cool. -
From Stickman's (industry photographer) Facebook page... and 100% spot on... Stop congratulating yourselves! With the recent announcement of democrats NOT pressing forward with another AWB, the firearm industry seems awash in praises and congratulations. To these people and industry experts, I can only say "STOP CONGRATULATING YOURSELVES"! The larger picture has been missed, and people are fat dumb and happy with having beaten the liberals. If you fall into that category, please stop. Seriously. If I told you I was going to beat you to death, would you not feel more than slightly offended? Would you not be upset with the threat, especially if I tried to carry it out? Would you feel it was suddenly ok if I only broke your nose, or fractured your eye socket? Would you be good with that? Would you congratulate yourself, and would your friends think it was awesome? Let us make no mistake that additional restrictions are about to be placed while people are dancing and congratulating themselves. The death of a thousand cuts is being carried out to the 2nd Amendment right in front of us, and the end is certainly near. The idea of ending personal sales without a background check is simply the first step in logging, tracking, and eventual restriction of firearms. Remember that each and every "background check" is done via computer and logged. If you are still smug in having "blocked the libs", your heart might be in the right place, but your head is not in the game. Stay safe, Stick Share it if you agree, and as always, civil comments are welcome.

Yep... uninstalling and reinstalling the app is the fix.

Folks... We work REALLY hard to ensure that people become Vendors if they're going to sell on TGO. It supports the site and keeps everyone honest by protecting the Vendors who do support the site. Please don't undermine it by soliciting business from folks who aren't Vendors. Bowdenknxvll -- I think it's clear by now that you could make some sales on TGO if you do it the right way and become a supporting Vendor. Until such time that this happens, please refrain from posting this sort of thread in the future. We would welcome your support and I'm sure it would be a very beneficial relationship for you, but what's happening now is not fair to our existing Vendors. Thanks.

Absolutely gorgeous against the satin silver. Nicely done.

Can't take credit for that one. Built into the software, but I'm glad you like it! :)

Haven't seen this problem.

That's correct. There are a lot of limitations with Tapatalk as it relates to the things the TGO web site itself provides. Again, Tapatalk is purely a convenience and is not recommended if you want the full experience.
-
I think they're Aussies but yeah... voice coaching.
-
S&WForty -- The Tapatalk developers say that the codes being shown here indicate that you need to uninstall and reinstall the application on your mobile device. Can you please try that and see if it fixes this issue when you post? Thanks.

My deepest condolences. May he rest easily now and your family find the strength to carry on until you see him again.

I see it's still inserting HTML characters.

Definitely avoid the Antioch / Hickory Hollow area like the plague. Not a safe place to be.

Looks like Magpul will be moving
TGO David replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I keep reading comments on their Facebook posts from pro-freedom Colorado residents who feel "helpless" and ignored by the elected representatives, stating that they try to call their reps and are told that they can't leave messages, or email and fax and received canned responses thanking them for their concern. There, like most places, the people are being ignored and the politicrats are doing exactly whatever the hell they want to do and continue down the road of passing laws that people don't want. So my question is... what does that leave? When the vermin that infect our government systems refuse to do the bidding of the people who elected them and put them there, what now? Sure you can vote them out of office at the end of their term, but how much damage can they do in the meantime? Once freedoms are stripped away it's almost impossible to restore them. I hate to be that guy, but I'm seriosuly starting to wonder when folks are going to hit their limit and start voting with deeds instead of words. There are already posts on Magpul's FB page from people who say they are 5th (and longer) generation Coloradans who refuse to tuck their tails and flee to another state but desire to stand and fight for their freedoms. Things really could get interesting within our generation.
