AAR Suarez / Harris Close Range Gunfighting Chattanooga
TGO David replied to Paisan's topic in Training Discussions
Very nice AAR. I consistently only hear the best of things about Randy's classes. We're very fortunate to have him here. -
Please note that you must be a Benefactor to post WTB ads. Hopefully someone can answer your other question for you.

Guys, there are a lot of esoteric notions floating around in this thread. Let me squash some of this before it gets out of hand: As stated previously there won't be a PayPal option for this. It's against their TOS and we're not going to creatively try to skirt that and ruin a good relationship with them. We aren't going to do a logo contest to see what people like the best. The logo will be the TGO icon that appears on our 3" circular decals. The serial numbers will most likely start with TGO######. Nothing has been determined regarding distribution yet. An FFL will have to be involved, obviously. We will work with our existing TGO Vendors first when the time comes. If a Vendor is not in your part of the state, we will have to work around that. Currently the only thing on the drawing board is the standard 5.56 size lower. We do not have any info about doing a 7.62 size lower. If that changes, we'll make a post about it. Thanks.

State suspends gun carry permit for James Yeager
TGO David replied to ironsniper1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Actually... a damn good video. Intelligently presented and very well articulated. It'd be great to see future videos delivered with the same style and less of what his detractors have called "Roid Yeager". Too often he plays right into the hands of the wrong people with his over the top delivery and weird twitchy behavior. I honestly can't believe I'm saying this, but I have no problems with that video whatsoever and agree with everything he said and how he said it. He even seems to have stopped shopping at The Buckle and is sporting a Spike's Tactical shirt this time. :) -
Logo will likely be the TGO "icon" like we have on our 3" round decals.

If we do it, we're doing it with the logo. I'm not getting into a Burger King scenario with these. We'll offer it one way and if people want it, great. If not, they can buy some other lower.

Where to buy my Dillon? I am in Nashville
TGO David replied to serbu50's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I ordered mine from Brian Enos a few years ago. I can strongly second this recommendation. -
May just come and see you! :)

And therein lies the problem. I believe we have finally reached the tipping point in this current democracy where the lazy slobs sucking at the tit of government now outnumber the voters who work hard and hold to traditional values. The dregs of society keep voting into power the people who will support their habits, and the rest of us keep footing the bill and forfeiting our freedoms. In short, we're screwed.

We're not using Paypal for this. End of story.

That assclown hasn't been a member here for several years now and I'm frankly (see what I did there) surprised he's still breathing after the Lightfighter scam.

Can I call dibs on some serial numbers? :D

This.

Not a drop of rain yet east of I-24. I've been watching the weather all day and have my 2-meter radio sitting next to me scanning the local ARES nets.
-
One thread is enough.
-
To be honest, a CB with a linear amp isn't really long range at all. It may be in your definition, but a legal 2-meter radio has longer legs than that setup likely does.

Non-licensed individuals may already use any available comm frequencies in case of emergency, per the FCC. The catch is you must be able to prove you were in an emergency situation if you are challenged by the FCC later.
-
Technician class is fine for anyone who wants to talk "locally" on 2-meter repeaters. Depending on the repeater network you're accessing, local can mean multiple counties and states. We routinely hear folks from Kentucky and Alabama on the middle Tennessee ARES repeaters. Without a repeater you're looking at multiple tens of miles of distance of commo, terrain and atmospherics dependent, when operating in simplex mode with another station. The General class license can certainly get you across the country and into foreign countries with the right equipment and right conditions. Extra class is the top of the heap and is geared up for much greater distance commo, again with the right equipment and conditions.

I've been working with my tattoo artist for several years now, so I just gave him a bunch of imagery to use as creative fuel, and a theme, and let him run wild with his own imagination. I've found that if you trust your artist, you get the best results if you give them creative control. My guy has never let me down. We may tweak a few things on paper before putting needle to skin, but he's always been well within the 10-ring every time he's come back to me with concept art.

Not terribly far from my part of town. Interesting.
