  1. So far it doesn't seem to me like it's gotten much traction after the initial media fracas.  The people have too short of an attention span.
  2. TN's permit is not a concealment permit.  It is a carry permit.  Some states get worked up about what you're describing but TN doesn't.
  3. I've noticed the mosquitos are out in full force, likely thanks to all of the standing water we have lingering from the recent rains.  Awesome.
  4. Who has two thumbs and f'ing hates spiders?   THIS guy.
  5. I have no reason to lock or delete this thread whether they complain or not.  Like I said, people are allowed by law to voice their opinion of people, businesses, etc.  It just never fails that someone who doesn't understand the legal definition of libel or slander will always scream about them being libeled or slandered and try to bully a reaction out of me.   I don't have the patience required to be a lawyer.  My first impulse when people are being asshats it to reach out and slap the piss out of them.  Lawyers are a little more tactful.
  6. I'm just saying it's happened numerous times in the past and I dread it every time it does.  I think that customers should be savvy and know when a business provides less than acceptable customer service, so don't get me wrong here.  I'm just saying these threads almost always result in some junior lawyer wannabe sending me an email telling me they're going to sue me or TGO because of what someone else posted on this site about their business.  Libel, slander, etc.   None of which is even remotely applicable because people are allowed to have opinions and are allowed to share them like this, but it never stops the guy who thinks his childhood spent watching The People's Court from thinking that makes him a lawyer and sending stupid emails.   Sorry to vent.  Just a glimpse inside my world I suppose.   :)
  7. I wonder how long before they sign up here and raise hell about this thread.
  8. If you're the kind of person who likes attention, good or bad, then open carry.  If you're the kind of person who prefers that people leave you the hell alone, conceal.
  9. Welcome.  There's a lot of us here in Smyrna apparently.
  10. Glad to have you with us.
  11. Welcome
  12. I picked up some of the Old Weller 107 this past Thursday and was absolutely blown away by the quality for the price.  That's going to become a mainstay in my cabinet.
  13. Gentlemen, fret no more.  I am perfectly willing to announce that I am a lesbian.
  14. Now that's just showing off.
  15. David, the agent we are using is a gun owner and would be glad to return your calls and won't be scared off by someone paying cash.  Let me know if I can put you in touch with her.  She's tops.
  16. I have upgraded the Tapatalk mobile app add-on this morning to the latest version.  This version fixes the extra HTML line-break issue but we've noticed elsewhere that it causes the preview to constantly show the first post in the thread on the mobile app, rather than showing the latest post in the thread.  I'm sure the developers will drag their feet on getting this fixed the same way that they drag their feet on fixing everything else.   Seriously, while  I enjoy the convenience of the app as do most of you, the Tapatalk programmers are the world's worst.  They suck at bug-checking and validating their changes before shoving it out to the consumer.   Enjoy yet another crappy release from them!
  17. I've found it's more enjoyable to cover them up with a bigger, more bad-ass tattoo.  If you're gonna hurt, the result might as well rock.
  18. Just about any competent tattoo artist will draw that up for you as part of the deposit you make to secure your booking with them.  Artists are funny like that; they tend to think their time and talent is worth money.  ;)
  19. Welcome to TGO.
  20. My wife and I bought a bottle of this last weekend and each had a glass. It's put away in storage now for special occasions. Words seriously fail me in describing just how incredibly smooth it is. http://www.blackbookmag.com/nightlife/jefferson-s-presidential-select-21-year-old-american-whiskey-has-grown-up-so-fast-1.60590
  21.   I have a bottle of it but won't be opening it.  What I'd like to do is find a bar somewhere or go in on another bottle with a group of friends and sit around sipping on it all evening.  The latter may still happen.
  22. Sorry I couldn't make it.  We had some things come up unexpectedly that threw a wrench in the whole week's schedule.
  23.   It was inevitable that people would start Monday-morning quarterbacking the operation up there.  Some folks just have to look for a boogeyman in every closet.
  24. Guys...   Please do not take it upon yourselves to contact manufacturers asking them if they'd be interested in building these lowers for us.  There is already a manufacturer involved and we do not need to waste other people's time with inquiries that aren't approved by this site's ownership.  Yes this has happened and yes we know who did it.   I appreciate the motivation to "help" but it's presumptuous and has the capacity to cause problems.  Don't do it.   Thanks!
  25.   Congratulations!
